Background: After years in a mental institution, Firestorm signed with the NFWA in August of 2000. Shortly after his arrival, Firestorm came out on the losing end of a rivalry with Siege (Killa) of the Elites. Anxious for revenge, Firestorm turned to Prez Panther. Firestorm was appointing Commissioner after aiding Panther in driving Mick Foley out of the NFWA, and he used his new powers to make Killa's life a living hell. For months, Firestorm stacked the deck against Killa, doing everything in his power to screw him over. It was when Firestorm "defeated" Killa for the World Title in October 2000 that Panther had seen enough. Panther immediately stripped Firestorm of the title and a heated rivalry developed between the two, which culminated at Overkill 2000 when Firestorm, aided by Panther's best friend Sniper, defeated Panther for ownership of the NFWA. Over the next few months, Firestorm and his Legion of Destruction battled the Panther-affiliated Generation X-Treme and the Sniper-led 9th Street Posse for supreme control of the fed; a battle which saw Firestorm nearly killed after being blown up (by Panther) inside an abandoned building at Apocalypse Now 2000. The war culminated at SlamFest, where Firestorm, Panther and Sniper conspired to re-form the imfamous Dynasty. This itself was a ploy by Panther and Sniper, who weeks later poisoned Firestorm, causing him to have a heart attack, and subsequently lose power in the NFWA. Seeking revenge, Firestorm signed control of the GNL expansion league over to Panther's arch nemesis "J-Dogg" Johnny Gunn. As an NFWA and GNL war began to heat up, Firestorm briefly stepped away from the spotlight, returning in January of 2002 with an iron-clad contract stating that he was still the Commish of the NFWA. At Game Time 2002, he aligned himself with Tina and the hated Angelfire faction after burning Panther with a blow torch and putting him out of action with temporary blindness. Finally, at SlamFest 2, Firestorm teamed with Tina to defeat Panther and Diamond, forcing the NFWA to close forever. Titles held:NFWA World Title (1x sorta, NFWA Tag Team (w/Ice Cube)
