Josh Harding, 2012-13 Masterton Trophy Winner
The Bill Masterton Trophy is an annual award presented by the Professional Hockey Writers' Association to the NHL player who best exemplifies the qualities of perseverance, sportsmanship, and dedication to hockey.
The award was presented by the NHL Writers' Association in 1968 in memory of the late William Masterton, who died after sustaining a serious head injury during a game on Jan. 15, 1968.
