Okay, okay, so the name for this garden is decidedly optimistic. One day it will be a Courtyard Garden. The plan is to add a brick patio, enclose the porch with French doors, and enclose the other two sides of the garden - probably with a picket fence. We are adding shade loving plants and trying to focus on year round interest since several rooms have windows on this view. Hopefully the lion wall fountain will be mounted and functioning by the summer to improve the tranquil feel of this already secluded retreat.
