"It's alright sweetheart, we are going home today." Angel coaxed her
great phoenix Marlon, petting his firey yellow head plumage.
Time had passed with the training of Angel, and it was the time to leave
the town and travel back to the Temple of Ares to carry out their plan.
It was only 8:40 am in the morning, but the place was turning out to be
rather hot and stuffy.
Dian watched her friend, trying to stiffle a giggle and turned back to
her beautiful unicorn Morning Star, making last minute adjustments.
"Dian... about Autolycus..." Angel began, fanning her face against the
harsh heat."I will tell you about him when we get moving, let's just finish up
here." The two worked in scilence for a few minutes, no words spoken, until all
had been arranged. Angel turned to Dian, a confident smile on her face.
"Well, our time has passed here, so now we can go back to the Temple."
"That's right sweets, and it is also the day before we carry out
Operation Grand-Slam." Dian grinned, mounting the unicorn, taking a
gentle hold on the reins.
Angel nodded and slung her legs over her Fire-Bird's back and walked
Marlon to the door.
Dian rode Morning Star in front of Angel as they began their journey
back to their destination.
The 9:00 morning heat was relevantly hot and the animals were starting
to get a bit thristy. Dian and Angel, noticing the trouble, steered them
off the dusty road into the underbrush.
"I remember finding a lake here, so we can stop there and give them a
drink." Dian muttered.
Bushes and tall trees went past them when Dian smiled and pointed ahead.
"Ahhh there it is! C'mon let's go!" .
Marlon dipped his head to take a long drink, along side Morning Star who
stood in the water, lickign up the liquid.
Angel sat on a rock near a mini waterfall while Dian plonked down beside
her, pulling back her hair."Okay Angel, what did you want to know about Auto?"
"Well, I would like to know how did you meet him?" came the question.
"The both of us meet in a marketpalce you see. He was going for a purse
that I was going for and we both ended up hitting heads." Dian giggled."Ouch!"
"ANyway, he took it lightly, so the both of us came friends and he
taught me how to do a foward flip and a high flip." the girl grinned.
"Dian, if it's okay with you, I would like to meet Autolycus... yes, I
know that he comes to the Temple, but I dont' really see him all that
much because I am always on the go for good will." Angel asked. The
sentance came out quite fast.
"Sure!" Dian agreed nodding. Then she looked up into the sky, knowing
that they had been falling behind.
"Let's get going then, we have to be there by nightfall."
