Part 2 by AresAngel

'Okay Angel, now make sure you get this right.' Dian instructed her friend. 'No worries Dian, I know I can do this.' Angel replied glancing after the Practice Boy as he went past. 'Remember, you MUST not let him see or feel you... you are on your own this time. Ready?' 'Yes.' came the reply. 'Do it!' Dian hissed as Angel concealed her wings and mixed into the market place after the boy. 'Okay girl, remember, you are going to return it, so don't feel guitly.' the Angel assured herself followign her target. The boy had a satchel of jingling gold dinars that could appetize Autolycus. 'When he stops...' she thought. The youth stopped by a fruit cart to purchase a large bag of watermellons, giving Angel her break. From the corner of her eye, she spied an enthusiastic Dian mouthing 'Go on, do it!' Thne with all delicate timing, she reached her hands carefully for the satchel, gripping it by the drawstring. He moved lightly, making her snatch her hand away and trying again this time more quickly. The purchase was almost over when Agel mustered up all her courage and swiped it, without the barters even knowing. Wiping the guilty persipation from her head, she walked calmly through the crowd and concealed the satchel under her brown robe that she had borrowed form Andy. 'Way to go!' Dian greeted her friend as Angel smiled and took out the contents. Dian received it with a look of pleasure on her young face. 'If only Ares could see you now!' Dian giggled patting Angel on the back. 'He would probably take away my halo and give me horns.' Angel said half-joking. 'Oh Angel, we will get Andy to return it and Ares won't know anything... all he will know when we do Operation Grandslam in the Temple he will notice some stuff missing.' 'I guess you are right Angel cheered up. 'Come on, we had better get back to Andy's house before dark and have some food... I bet your hungry.' 'Who wouldn't be?' Angel responded then added; 'You know, when I was out there, I felt a rush of excitment go through me, as if I had not felt it before.' 'All part of being a thief Angel, all part of being a theif. Let's go.' Both of the young women walked thorugh the crowds of the market towards home.
