DVD #9A  After the memorial, Sonny and Brenda hug and talk. Robin and Sonny talk after the memorial service. Sonny and Lily talk.  Lois and Brenda plan the next Idle Rich CD. Brenda had booked a famous photographer for the album artwork. Brenda tells Lois that she has told Sonny how she feels. He told her that he did not trust her, but Brenda is sure he is still hurting over them too. Lois pushes her to move on.

Sonny asks Luke if he can tell Damian that it was Luke who was the informant on his bank records, as it will work in their favor. Sonny and Luke talk about coping with Stone's death, Brenda arrives and interrupts with L&B business as an excuse to see him.  She makes small talk with Sonny, lots of intense looks being exchanged, then Brenda leaves. Lily and Sonny talk about Stone. Harry tells Sonny that the cops have found papers in Damian's safety deposit box that tie Sonny to Damian. Damian and Sonny talk in the park.
 
Sonny and Luke talk about Sonny's trouble with the Feds. Sonny asks Luke about the safety deposit box.  Lois thinks that Sonny will be more apt to listen now that an official investigation has been started. She presses him again about selling his majority interest in L&B. He is not interested. Sonny tells Luke that he may be about to be busted under Rico and now wants Luke to buy him out of the club. Luke does not have the funds and will have to find himself another partner. Luke offers partnership in the club to Lucy and she accepts. Justus, Luke, Sonny and Lucy make the deal.

Lois tells Brenda about the feds hitting pay dirt on Sonny. Brenda has the idea that Sonny’s possible indictment would interfere with Lois’s creative control. Justus, Luke, Sonny and Mike look on as Lucy tells Kevin about being the new partner in Luke's. Lily and Brenda come to blows when Brenda stops by the penthouse to check on Sonny. Lily warns her that using Sonny’s grief over Stone to try and bridge the gap will not work.

Edward makes Sonny a deal that he can’t refuse. Edward gets his hands on Sonny’s shares of L&B. Sonny gives Edward the tip that Miguel is sought after by a big time music producer.  AJ and Brenda talk about Sonny. Brenda learns that Edward now owns Sonny’s shares of L&B. Edward and after a phone call with Sonny, persuades Brenda to transfer her shares into a holding company.  Brenda tells Lois and Ned about Edward’s swindle.

Sonny tells Damian that he is selling all his tangible assets. Lois, Ned, and Brenda confront Edward, who now owns controlling interest in L&B. Edward makes an offer to Lois for her stock as well. He tells them that he sold Miguel’s contact to Cepeda.

Lily and Sonny talk about him sharing his shares in L&B to Edward. Brenda confronts Sonny about wanting to hurt her back by duping her out of her L&B shares to Edward. She thinks they are even now and now he has to let her help him. Sonny does not want her help. They also talk about Lily, Brenda shares her feelings and leaves. Stone's ghost visits Sonny and talks to him about Brenda. Brenda at Kelly's talking to Stone's ghost about Sonny. Robin gives Sonny Stone's ring and gives Brenda Stone's wallet. Brenda and Robin talk about Sonny.

Sonny gives Mac one of Stone’s rings. Sonny tells Luke he feels like the other shoe is about to drop. Luke, Lucky, Sonny and Mike. Lucky tries to run a con with cards on Sonny but Sonny is wise to it (cute scene). Lily thinks that Sonny is putting on a happy face when everything is crumpling around him. She reminds him that Brenda is responsible for all of his troubles. Lois confronts Sonny about selling his L&B shares to Edward. Lois reminds him that with Stone gone, she is his only real connection from the past and now he blew it.

Robin, Luke and Sonny at Luke's, she gives some of Stone's things to Luke and Mike. Sonny and Mike talk about Stone. Sonny goes outside of Luke's and Brenda walks up to him in the alley. S&B talk and eventually Brenda caresses his face. He grabs her, picks her up, kissing her, carries her over and sets her down by the wall and they share a doozy of a kiss. They agree to meet later, after making an appearance at Lucy's party. 

S&B go inside Luke's and stand by the bar, Mike notices something is different. Lily interrupts S&B's conversation. Garcia comes in and arrests Sonny. Sonny is taken to the PCPD. At Luke’s request, Justus oversees Sonny’s interrogation until his council arrives.

Brenda and Mike talk about Sonny. Sonny in interrogation, Sonny's lawyer finally shows up. Justus calls Luke and tells him things don't look good as Brenda, Lily and Mike look on. Luke fills in Brenda and Lily about what's happening. Brenda's upset and takes off for the jail. Lily calls her father to come and help. They plan to meet in Rochester.
 
Brenda and Sonny in the interrogation room, they talk and Brenda tells him she'll stand by his side no matter what. Next morning, Brenda and Lily are both in the courtroom for his arraignment. Bail is set at 5 million and Sonny only has 3 million so they take Sonny off to jail.  Lily asks her father to help Sonny get out of jail and then she'll get to marry him. In return, Rivera will get his daughter back. Brenda sees Sonny in the interrogation room. They sit at the table and talk. They try and hold hands but the guard stops them. Brenda leans over the table and kisses Sonny passionately but the guard splits them up and takes Sonny away. Brenda cries as "Shadows in the Mirror" plays.

A lawyer shows up and posts bond for Sonny. Sonny calls Luke to tell him he's out of jail. Brenda shows up and finds out that Sonny got out of jail. Sonny finds out his benefactor is Rivera. Rivera tells him he can make Sonny's trouble go away if Sonny does something for him in return, marry Lily. Sonny looks shocked and tells Rivera he needs time to think. Brenda and Lucy talk about Sonny. Sonny tells Luke about the deal Rivera has offered him. They discuss all of Sonny's options. Sonny doesn't know what to do. Sonny tells Luke about Rivera’s offer. Luke thinks it is a mistake for Sonny to think he can live the rest of his life without love.

Sonny talks to Lily and he indicates to her that he will do as Rivera wishes without really saying it. Brenda walks in her room and Sonny is sitting there. She hugs him ecstatically and kisses him. He tries to tell her that he will be out of prison but at a price, that he loves her and will always love her and she should never forget that, but there is no future for him. Brenda doesn't understand. Sonny practically runs out of the room and leaves Brenda crying. Brenda goes to the gatehouse and asks Ned how she can get in touch with Lois, she needs her, Ned comforts her. Sonny and Mike talk, Mike offers Sonny a place to crash for the night, then Mike leaves. Sonny sits at the bar in the dark thinking, flashing on Lily and Brenda.

Sonny and Mike the next day in Mike's apartment (Sonny's old place), very funny scene with Mike's clothes tree. Sonny meets with Rivera and tells him he will do as he asks. Brenda goes to see Mike and marvels at his clothes tree. Brenda asks Mike about what is going on with Sonny? Sonny goes to see Lily and tells her he'll marry her. Ned and Lois on the phone, Ned sings to her (A Christmas song) and a montage starts, Tony, Felicia, Bobbie, Mac and Katherine, the Q's, Lucy and Kevin, Robin, Brenda and Mike, Lily, Sonny looking somber, Lois and Ned. Brenda comes into Luke's looking for Sonny and talks to both of them about Sonny. Damian and Sonny meet in the park. Sonny tells Damian he is on his own. Sonny tells Luke about Damian and his meeting. Luke tells Sonny about Brenda's visit.

Brenda shows up at Luke's again and she and Sonny talk, he tells her they can't be together but won't tell her why. Sonny tells Brenda that he made a mistake going to her and telling her that he loved her. He tells her to drop it but she won’t. Sonny tells Brenda to stay away from him.

DVD #9B  Sonny and Mike are still bunking together. Sonny is awoken by Mike setting a ham steak on fire at the apt. Mike is playing loud music and burning food (hilarious scene), they fight over cooking, and then they talk about Brenda. Sonny asks Luke to pick the lock on this penthouse door so they can get Stone's ashes.  Lucky joins them on the "job". Sonny and Luke bring Stone's ashes to Robin. Brenda comes to see Robin the next day and Robin tells her that Sonny and her are going to go and scatter Stone's ashes, Robin asks her to go but Brenda says she can't go. Robin is confused as to why she can't go so Brenda tells her about the confusion with Sonny. Robin begs Brenda to go with her and Sonny but Brenda leaves, saying she can't. 

Sonny arrives after Brenda is gone. Robin tries to talk to Sonny about Brenda. Sonny and Robin go to the bridge to scatter Stone's ashes, they talk. Brenda shows up, she and Sonny just gaze at each other, he holds out his hand and brings her over to where he and Robin are standing. Robin remembers Stone bungee jumping, she scatters his ashes. Sonny, Robin and Brenda are all crying. Brenda and Sonny put their arms around Robin. Sonny takes Robin home and they talk again briefly about Brenda.
 
Sonny learns that the grand jury has come back with a verdict. Sonny arrives and tells Luke he's a free man. Lily shows up and they talk. Mike wonders about what is going on with Lily & Sonny and Sonny's not guilty verdict. Sonny and Lily plan their wedding. (Sonny thinks to himself, trying to convince himself that he can get over Brenda, then says to himself that he loves Brenda) while Lily goes on and on about wedding arrangements. Lily thinks to herself that Sonny's not in love with her but says she has enough love for the both of them. Sonny announces to Luke and Mike that he's engaged to Lily. Brenda walks in and sees Sonny and Lily sitting there. Mike and Luke walk over and tell Brenda that the grand jury let him go. Sonny kisses Lily right in front of Brenda. Brenda sees Sonny's toast. Sonny walks out with Lily right in front of Brenda. Brenda is stunned.
 
Sonny takes Lily to his penthouse and they talk. Brenda lies in her bed thinking of what she told Sonny and what he told her the night he got out of jail, fade to Sonny thinking about the same thing. Brenda cries, fade to Sonny and he's got tears welling up in his eyes. Lily is in bed and breaks Sonny's thoughts. Damian shows up shot at Sonny's door. Sonny and Damian talk. Ruby fusses over Brenda, they talk about Sonny. Lily patches up Damian's arm. Sonny and Damian leave. 

Brenda shows up at the penthouse and Lily's there not Sonny. Lily and Brenda have a confrontation. Lily tells Brenda that Sonny is marrying her. Brenda is shocked. Brenda guesses what deal was made to get Sonny free. Brenda tells Lily that she should ask Sonny who he really loves and about how he came to Brenda's bedroom and told her that he'll always love her. Sonny interrupts their argument and tells Brenda to go home. He tries to play it off with Lily. Sonny talks to Rivera about the attempt on Damian's life. Brenda cries in her room at Kelly's and throws things. Ruby comes in and comforts her. Damian comes to see Sonny. Sonny brings a letter to Robin from Stone that Sonny found in his penthouse. Sonny and Robin cry as they read the letter. Sonny tells Robin he's marrying Lily. She's shocked and lets Sonny have it, telling him he's making a terrible mistake. Justus interrupts and tells Robin about Jason's accident.

Lily and Sonny in the penthouse laughing, he gives her the engagement ring. Lily and Sonny make love. Robin goes to see Brenda and tells her about Jason. Robin and Brenda talk about Sonny and Lily's marriage. Brenda cleans her room with a frenzy as Ruby tries to talk to her. Ruby thinks she is trying to erase memories of Sonny. Robin tries to talk some sense into her. Brenda is still hoping that Sonny will break off his engagement, but knows that Sonny can only save himself by going through with the marriage. 

Lily receives her mother's wedding dress from Rivera and talks to Sonny about it. Brenda and Ruby talk about Sonny. Lily tries on her dress fantasizing about Sonny actually loving her. Mac comes to see Sonny about Damian. Sonny talks to Rivera, Lily talks to Rivera and they make more plans for the wedding. Lily and Sonny set a wedding date. 

Brenda goes to see Mike and they talk at length about Sonny and Lily's wedding arrangements. Lily and Sonny at the penthouse. Brenda leaves Mike's and Sonny shows up a minute later as Mike is grumbling and throwing a semi-tantrum over the S&B situation. Mike and Sonny talk about his marriage to Lily. Brenda visits an unconscious Jason in the hospital (after the accident) and pleads with him to wake up.Edward calls Brenda and asks her to come to see Ned. Brenda goes and Edward tells her that Lois's plane is missing. Being helpless, Ned is frantic. Brenda comforts Ned and they talk about Lois's plane being missing, they wait and finally Lois turns up. Garcia questions Sonny about Damian. Sonny tells Luke that Katherine has been arrested. Luke and Sonny speculate if Damian is really dead.
 
Lily brings her wedding dress to Kelly's. A curious Brenda sneaks a peek at it and ends up accidentally setting it on fire when the lights go out and she lights a candle. Brenda tries to explain to Ruby what happened, Ruby advises her to go tell Lily. Sonny and Harry talk, Lily interrupts with groceries and they start cooking in the kitchen. Sonny tells Lily that after they are married, he will be going back to his business. They discuss security issues. Brenda interrupts and tells them about the wedding dress. Neither of them believe her story and tell her to get out. Lily and Sonny talk about the wedding dress, he takes Lily's side in it over Brenda. Lily vows not to let Brenda ruin their day. She makes plans to get a new dress.  Ned doesn't really believe Brenda when she tells him about the dress. Brenda goes to see Mike and explains about the fire that destroyed Lily’s dress. Mike apologizes to her for jumping to the conclusion that she did it on purpose. Lily and Sonny see what is left of the dress, Ruby tells them that Brenda didn't do it on purpose but they don't want to hear it. Lily and Sonny talk and Lily cries. Lois and Brenda talk about Mary Mae's death. Brenda tells Lois about torching Lily’s dress.  Ned interrupts and they discuss L&B business. Sonny and Lois run into each other at Ward house and talk about Brenda. Brenda and Lois talk about the Outback's concert with Eddie Maine and about Sonny. Lois and Brenda talk at the gatehouse.
