DVD #1A  Brenda tells Robin that Mrs. Wexler came in and read Karen's report card out to everyone and that Karen is almost flunking every class. Robin says that doesn't sound like Karen at all. Karen is popping pills at Kelly's and really on edge and snapping at everyone. Brenda and Robin decide to follow Karen to see what's really going on with her. They follow her right to the Paradise Lounge. Brenda thinks they should go in and see what she's doing in there but when they try only she can get in but Robin can't so Robin goes home. Brenda goes inside (in disguise with a hat and glasses, lol) and this is where she sees Sonny for the first time and he kisses Cari. Cari goes backstage to get ready. Cari takes the stage and Brenda sees the whole thing. Karen, drugged out, hallucinates that her step-father Ray is in the audience, she runs off stage frightened. Brenda leaves the club.

Brenda and Robin are at Jagger's Pro fight, which Sonny has ordered him to throw. Karen and Stone come in. Sonny sits by Karen and Stone. Brenda asks Robin what she thinks of Karen's new boyfriend Sonny? Robin says they don't look much in love to her. Jagger won't throw the fight, he wins, and Sonny is ticked. Sonny grabs Karen by the hair and starts pulling her out of there. Jagger punches him, and he and Karen run out. Sonny is really mad and wants to know where they went? Brenda is at Kelly's going on about how she won't give up on Jagger. Sonny comes in looking for Jagger, Brenda overhears and heads upstairs to warn Jagger. They take off out the fire escape. Ruby is calm while Sonny threatens her, he's impressed by her coolness. Sonny finds Brenda in Jagger's room, painting her toes and it looks like she's waiting for Jagger to return. Brenda asks if they've ever tried knocking, after all she might not have been decent, "What would we have done then?". Sonny replies that they would have thought of something. This is their first speaking scene together. Sonny and Stone go into Kelly's to wait for Luke Spencer. Jagger is irritated that Sonny is there so Brenda takes his order.

Famous scene on the docks where Brenda and Sonny are formally introduced. Brenda is upset and drops her luggage on the way from Kelly's. Sonny is there and helps her pick it up, then he introduces himself and even though she tries to blow him off he grabs her hand and asks her name (you can already see sparks) she says Brenda and then leaves. Karen, Ruby and Brenda are sitting at Kelly's talking about Jagger and the Ray Conway murder. They figure that Jagger was framed and are now trying to figure out who it was. Karen says that she didn't think that Sonny did it or that he framed Jagger but Brenda tried to say a lot of things that tried to convince Karen. Karen finally agrees with Brenda and Sonny walks into Kelly's at that moment. Karen leaves Kelly's as quickly as possible. Brenda walks up to Sonny and begins to "question" him about Ray Conway's murder. He tells her that he didn't do it. They flirt a little. Marco comes and taps on the window to get Sonny's attention. He cuts short his and Brenda's conversation and leaves.

Brenda talks to Lila about men. She wants to fall in love. She tells Lila she needs to meet a man who is not a Quartermaine. Cute scene between the two of them. In one of my favorite scenes, Brenda's in the bathtub has a fantasy sequence with various men in PC. First, Ned comes in (looking quite corporate) and she asks about her portfolio. She pulls him in with her suit and all. Next, she imagines Sonny entering (looking very mobster like with a trenchcoat, hat, and a gun) demanding the diamonds she was wearing, she takes them off but drps them as shes about to hand them so he is now in the tub with her clothes and all making out. Next, Jagger enters (wearing only his boxing shorts) and when he tells her he has a date with Karen, she points out this is HER fantasy and imagines shooting him, then Jason enters. Finally, AJ then walks in and this time she realizes he isn't a dream!

Sonny and Brenda run into each other at the car dealership. She is buying herself a Valentines Day present. They are VERY flirtatious with each other. They both had their minds made up on the car they wanted but succeeded in changing each other's minds and getting the other's car, without each other knowing! So seductive. Brenda has a Valentine Day fantasy of her and Sonny dancing seductively with Prince's "Damn U" playing in the background.

Sonny shows up at the Quartermaine mansion to see Brenda. He meets Lila and begins to have a conversation with her. Sean Donnelly walks in. Brenda then comes down and stops a soon to be confrontation from happening. She takes him to the foyer and asks him what he's doing there? He answers that he was driving in his new car and that it made its way to her front door. He asks her out on a date, which she accepts, and takes her to the PC Grille. When they get there, AJ pulls Brenda aside and inquires as to why she is going out with Sonny? Brenda tells him to mind his own business and to let her live her life. She and Sonny then go on to enjoy a dinner full of sexual tension.

AJ warns Brenda against Sonny again. Brenda thinks Sonny might just have a hidden soul and she is just the woman to bring it out in him. AJ tells her she is being stupid and Jason has to break up their shouting match.  Jason agrees with AJ that Brenda should not be seeing Sonny. Lila and Brenda have a heart to heart about Sonny. Lila warns her not to see Sonny again. Jagger is ready to throw Sonny out of Kelly’s when he finds him waiting for a meeting with Luke. Ruby agrees to tolerate Sonny but warns him not to double cross Luke. As part of his plan, Luke needs Sonny to have Frank transferred to the Williams Federal Prison in Albany. 

Brenda walks into Kelly's as Sonny and Luke are finishing a conversation. She joins him at his table. Brenda turns down Sonny's offer to take a drive with him. Sonny accuses her of running away from a challenge. Sonny tells her that he wanted to call her and tell her that he really enjoyed their time together the night before but she tells him that she thinks they should cool it. He asks her why she is listening to everyone's well meaning advice instead of finding out things on her own. He asks her if she is going to "be satisfied with just a spark or did she want to set the world on fire". She promises that she won't cross the street when she sees him. Jagger comes out of the kitchen and sees them talking. Sonny notices and decides that he is going to move closer to Brenda and play with her hair all for Jagger's enjoyment. He tells her that he'll see her soon and then leaves. Jagger walks over to Brenda and asks her what she was doing? He makes the assumption that she was doing it to make him jealous. Hearing this infuriates Brenda and she tells him to mind his business and that she'll do whatever she wants. (Note: Glitchy picture during the scene)

Brenda pesters Lucy about getting involved with the business side of Deception again. Brenda gets flowers from Sonny. Lucy warns Brenda that she made a mistake with a dangerous man before too and thinks Brenda should be careful. Brenda seems to heed Lucy's advice but then calls Sonny to thank him for the flowers and she accepts a date with him.

Luke and Sonny have to decide where to stash Frank after they break him out. Laura tells Sonny and Luke that she found a place for Frank to lay low in after they break him out of prison. Sony asks Laura if Luke plans to double cross Frank.

Brenda calls Sonny to thank him for the flowers that he sent to her. He asks her to dinner to which she accepts. Sonny arrives at the Q mansion to pick up Brenda. He is waiting in the living room when AJ walks in and begins taunting Sonny. Sonny calmly warns AJ that he should spend less time worrying about Brenda's pain and a little more about his own. He also tells AJ that his mother taught him that if he should ever be invited into someone else's home that it'd be rude of him to stick his hand down that person's throat and tear their lungs out by the roots because it's just not done in the better circles. AJ asks if Sonny's mother would approve of Sonny's career choice? As the two of them are about to get into it Brenda walks in, stops them, and goes to get her coat. AJ follows her and asks her when she is going to stop taking Karen's throwaways.

Sonny and Brenda drive towards the "best restaurant in town" in his brand new car. Brenda starts asking Sonny questions about his feelings for Karen. He slams on the breaks and pulls over. It looks like he is mad but he pulls Brenda towards him and kisses her passionately. Afterwards, they decide to take it slow and he takes her home.

Luke does not like Sonny's suggestion that Stone be in on the plan. Sonny meets with Frank and tells him everything is set. Frank wants Sonny to whack Luke when the job is done. Sonny thinks that would be a bad idea as it would bring unnecessary heat back to Frank. Sonny tells Luke that they have to do the prison break right with no surprises as he would hate to have to take him out.

Brenda gets her hands on the last remaining copy of the Idle Rich's cd. A shocked Ned walks in on Brenda playing her new Idle Rich album in the Q den. He secretly confiscates it.

Robin and Brenda learn that Karen and Jagger will be married next week and they are leaving PC. Sonny shows up at Kelly's where Stone is talking to Robin and Brenda about new opportunities coming for him. Robin wonders if Stone is going to be involved with Sonny and gets a little worried about it. Brenda goes to sit with Sonny, against Robin's wishes. Sonny wonders if maybe Brenda's making a mistake but she goes on to say that she wants to make her own decisions. She tells Sonny that Karen and Jagger are getting married the next Saturday, which also coincides with the date that Frank Smith is going to be busted out of jail. Sonny doesn't care about Karen or Jagger and says that they, like everybody else, deserve every bit of happiness they can get. They talk about deep connections. She tells him that she bought the red convertible sports car that this great salesman pitched to her.

tory. Ned has a bad dream about performing in front of everyone in PC. Brenda finds Ned in a record store buying more copies of The Idle Rich's cd. She pegs Ned for the lead singer of the band. At the Outback, Ned tells Brenda the whole story about how he got to be the lead singer of the Idle Rich. Brenda meets Miguel. Brenda plans on holding that fact that she knows who Eddie Maine is over Ned's head for a while. To Ned’s horror, Brenda clues the Qs in on the Idle Rich playing at The Outback soon.

Sonny tells Damian that all bases are covered when it comes to the breakout. Frank tells Sonny that he is for sure going to have to take out Luke. Sonny swears to Laura that Luke will return home safely to her. He learns she is pregnant. Sonny tells Luke the plan is set (Note: Glitchy picture for a few seconds) Sonny warns Luke when Frank gets out not to turn his back on him.

Robin and Karen hang out with Karen the night before the wedding. Karen, Brenda, and Robin crash Jagger's bachelor party at the Outback.

Sonny is sitting in his car thinking back to Frank telling him to kill Luke. Then he thinks about Laura telling him about her being pregnant and asking him to watch Luke’s back. Luke shows up and gives him the fake ID's they need for the bust. Sonny warns him to be wary of Frank to which Luke responds that Sonny do the same. The two go to the jail dressed as FBI agents and show documentation for Frank's "transfer". Sonny and Luke have a conversation as "Alex" and "Roger" as they wait for Frank. Finally he shows. One of the officers calls for information on the transfer of Frank Smith, giving Sonny and Luke limited time to get Frank out of the facility and into the awaiting car. As they walk down the corridor and are almost home free, the officer finds out that there is in fact no transfer and that it's a breakout. He sounds the alarm, causing all hell to break loose. Sonny urges Luke and Frank to keep going as he tries to fend off the police, but he can't do it on his own. There are gunshots in the parking lot, in which Sonny gets hit twice. He struggles to get up and drives himself out of the jail parking lot. He tries to drive but can barely see due to the bad snowstorm and him trying to fight not to lose consciousness. Brenda gets all dolled up in a sexy dress for Karen & Jagger’s wedding. Brenda is driving down the same road on her way to the wedding. 

Sonny crashes into Brenda's brand new convertible. Brenda get's out of her car furious and starts yelling at the driver of the other car. When she sees that nobody in the car is moving she opens the car door and finds Sonny bleeding. Sonny regains consiousness and tells Brenda that he was shot twice. She want's to take him to the hospital but he refuses because he says he can't explain where the bullets came from. He want's her to take him back to his apartment and call his lawyer for help. She helps Sonny out of the car and into her own, taking him back to his place. She tries to keep him awake by having him talk to her, that works for a while but then he just falls out of consciousness. Cusack (Sonny's lawyer) finally arrives with the doctor. He says that he can't do surgery on Sonny without a transfusion in which it comes out that he and Brenda are the same blood type. She gives him blood and Sonny gets operated on.

Later, the doctor gives Brenda all of the instructions and tells her that she must watch Sonny carefully during the night, which she does. Sonny wakes up in the middle of the night and tells Brenda that she has two choices. To either go away and act like they never met or stay and then they would have met, meaning that she couldn't let anyone know what she'd seen the night before. Brenda calls Lila and says she's staying at Robins. The next morning, Brenda wakes up and notices that Sonny has begun bleeding again.

DVD #1B  The doctor comes again, takes care of Sonny, and then leaves, stating that if he dies for her not to call him. Sonny survives the night and then lets Brenda know that she should leave just in case the cops show up. Stone arrives, stating that he will take care of Sonny and Brenda leaves. Sonny tells Stone about how the Smith jailbreak went wrong. Sonny is upset Stone left the van and Stone is upset Sonny didn't tell him the whole truth about how is life was in danger.

Ned invites Brenda to his Rochester gig. Ned and Brenda head to Rochester. Ned wants to make sure Brenda has his story straight and does not blow his cover. Brenda wants to know why if Ned is so in love with Lois why he is spending time with Katherine. Lois asks Brenda if there is another woman in Ned's life. Brenda insists to Lois that Ned is not involved with another woman. Lois tells Brenda that she is having a hard time going from lust to trust with Ned when she doesn't completely know him. Brenda tells Ned he is this way deeper than he knows. Brenda sees her first Eddie Maine show.

After his performance, Brenda tells Ned he is too good a performer to be living a double life. Brenda calls Sonny from Rochester to see how he is doing. Later, she has the infamous vampire fantasy right before she goes to bed. Sonny is sitting on the desk chair in his room, trying to exercise his arm and he begins thinking of Brenda, having the "CENSORED" fantasy (love that one!).

Brenda and Ned arrive back in PC. Katherine wants to take Ned to a ski weekend. Brenda is teed when Ned accepts. AJ is curious where Brenda spent the night last night. Brenda calls Sonny again telling him how lonely she is since her friends (Ned and Lois) are in love and she has no one. Sonny tells her to come home so that he can fix it for her. 

Sonny is lying in bed, reading the paper, when Luke calls from Kelly's. They speak in code wondering how the other is, and Sonny invites Luke over. When Luke arrives, the two speak about what happened after Sonny was shot. Sonny tells Luke everything that Brenda did for him and then inquires about what happened with Frank. Luke tells Sonny that Frank disappeared but Sonny doubts if it was that Frank really disappeared or that Luke offed him. Luke asks Sonny if Frank asked him (Sonny) to kill him in which Sonny responded no because if that was the fact they'd have a problem. 

Lois tells Brenda she knows that Ned lives in PC and does business there and asks her how risky it is for Ned to play The Outback. Brenda invites Lois to Karen and Jagger's wedding. Brenda brings Lois to Kelly’s and she meets Jason. The guests arrive for the wedding. Karen and Jagger get married. Singer Daniel Lavoie plays while Jagger and Karen dance their first dance. Alan gives Jagger and Karen a motorcycle as a wedding present. Jagger shares a dance with Brenda and Karen with Jason. Afterwards, Brenda invites Lois back to the Q mansion.

Brenda takes Lois back to the mansion and she meets the Qs. Brenda hides a photo of Ned. Sly. Brenda, Lois, AJ and Jason hit the Q hot tub. AJ puts the moves on Lois. Lois sees the photo of Ned in the Q den. Brenda covers after Lois sees the photo of Ned. Lois is eager to find Eddie/Ned at the PC Hotel. Brenda tells her she has to be careful as AJ works at the hotel. Ned is furious when Brenda tells him that Lois was in town and she met his entire family. Ned thinks his entire cover is blown but Brenda insists she covered for him.

Brenda asks Sonny about the name of the body shop where she can get her car fixed on his tab. Sonny is sitting in his living room listening to music when Luke arrives and gives him the money that Frank owed them. Brenda interrupts Luke and Sonny. Brenda gives Sonny the bill from the body shop where she had her car fixed. Luke leaves and Brenda offers to cook dinner for Sonny, which he flatly refuses. He cooks for her instead. Sonny accepts Brenda's invitation to The Outback to see the Idle Rich.

Lila wants Edward to take her to see the Idle Rich. Ned tries to convince Edward and Lila that the concert is a bad idea. Brenda thinks Ned should just come clean and play the gig. Brenda shows up again a few days later, bringing Sonny homemade chicken soup. They discuss their date for the upcoming Friday to see "The Idle Rich".

Brenda wants to know how Ned is going to get out of Friday's show at The Outback. Lois calls Brenda frantic that she can't find Eddie/Ned. Brenda tries and fails to stop her from coming to the PC Hotel and waiting for Ned.

Friday comes and Brenda comes to pick Sonny up for their date that night. When they show up at the Outback, Sonny meets up with an old neighborhood friend, Lois Marie Cerullo! Brenda is shocked but thrilled that they know one another. There is a problem with the concert when Eddie Maine is a no-show. Miguel offers to take his place and since the show must go on and Lois agrees. Lois is freaking out because Eddie Maine is a no show at his own concert. Brenda and Sonny tell her to have some faith in Miguel, who'll be filling in for Eddie. Miguel takes to the stage and mesmerizes everyone especially the women!  Brenda and Sonny flirt up a storm to Lila Q's dismay. On her way out, Brenda talks to Lila who tells her to go straight home if she respects her (Lila's) opinion at all. Brenda is very affected by Lila's concern for her and asks Sonny to take her home. Sonny is upset but Brenda tells him next time they see each other Lila just won't know about it.

Ned tells Brenda he really screwed up, as no way did Lois buy his laryngitis act. Brenda pushes him to see the truth but Ned tells her that Lois fell in love with Eddie Maine not Ned Ashton.
