DVD #2A  Robin shows up at the Q mansion to see Brenda. She is upset because Stone asked her out but Mac won't let her go. Brenda comes up with the idea that she can tell Mac she's going to dinner with her and they will really double date will Sonny and Stone! Brenda calls Sonny and sets up the plans. Sonny and Stone get ready at the apartment. Sonny is in charge of cooking and Stone is in charge of cleaning (this is when they really start to become a great duo).

Later that evening, Brenda and Robin are all dressed up and they tell Mac they want to go out for pizza and girl talk. He say's yes but asks Brenda if they are going to be meeting up with any boys? Brenda responds with saying how can they talk about boy's if they're sitting right there. Sonny and Stone and then Brenda and Robin each have a pep talk before they get together for dinner. Once the girls show up, Stone and Sonny take their coats. Brenda and Sonny can't keep their eyes off one another.

Sonny, Brenda, Stone, and Robin are having their double date. Everyone reminisces about past times especially Sonny who tells everyone about his prom way back when. During dinner Robin sneaks a glass of wine. After dinner, Stone takes a hint and leaves with Robin, they borrow Sonny's car. Once the kiddies leave things start heating up big time. As Sonny and Brenda are getting hot and heavy on the floor the phone rings. It's the police. Robin has been arrested for speeding, DUI, and driving without a license. Sonny and Brenda go down to the PCPD to see what they can do to help her. While there they run into a very pissed off Mac. Mac rips into Brenda for lying to him. Sonny gives Stone a lecture about letting Robin drive his car. During a phone call, Lois and Brenda dish about Sonny's reputation.

Sonny and Brenda have a date to go to the Outback. Brenda wants to meet with Mac and straighten things out. Brenda apologies to Mac for her part in Robin's trouble but he really does not want to hear it. When Sonny arrives, he sees Brenda talking to Miguel at the bar and he gets a little jealous. Mac won't wait on them so they leave and go to a very fancy, exclusive restaurant that few people in town know about. While there Brenda makes a lot of gangster jokes and Sonny gets mad at her. They argue about where their relationship is going. He wants to know if it's just a game to her? Once their moods settle down they dance.

Then they go back to his apartment and decide to make love. As they begin getting intimate, two men burst through the front door, punch Sonny, push Brenda, and take Sonny. They bring Sonny to Cusack's office. Cusack tells him that Luke just rescued Laura and they think he's the one who told Luke where to look.  Stone returns to Sonny's apartment to a frantic Brenda. Brenda scrambles to help. Not knowing that Cusack has Sonny, Brenda calls him for help. Stone wants to contact Luke and Brenda wants to go with him.

Brenda and Stone show up at Luke's home to ask him for help. Luke goes to Cusack's and he and Sonny pretend to despise one another for Cusack's benefit. It works and they let Sonny go. Sonny goes back to his apartment and thanks Stone for getting Luke involved. Brenda tells Jason about Sonny being nabbed. Jason asks her what did she expect. Sonny calls Brenda but she gives him the cold shoulder and blows him off.

The next day, Brenda is distracted at her photo shoot for Deception. Lucy gives her a peep talk. Sonny shows up and they argue about what happened the night before. Brenda tells him she doesn't want to be with him anymore though it's obvious she doesn't really mean it. Sonny tells her to take time to think about it and leaves. Once Sonny leaves, Brenda tries to get back in the modeling mood but everywhere she looks she sees Sonny's face, a hilarious scene.

Brenda receives a special delivery package and is shocked to discover an expensive diamond bracelet inside. Jason thinks she should send it back to Sonny to send him a message. Sonny gets a call from Brenda thanking him for a diamond bracelet he's sent to her but says she can't accept it. She insists on returning it to him even though he says no. He finally agrees and tells her he has dinner plans but she can meet him beforehand for a drink to return the bracelet. Brenda, all dressed up, meets up with Sonny to return the present.

In the middle of her emotional speech to him, his dinner date (a tall blonde named Cindy) shows up. Brenda is absolutely furious and takes it out on Cindy until Cindy decides to let them finish their conversation while she uses the bathroom. Brenda and Sonny have it out and she leaves furious, still wearing the diamond bracelet because the clasp is stuck and she can't remove it. When Brenda get's home she calls Lois for some girl talk. She tells Lois everything that happened. Lois tells Brenda she can’t reform Sonny and she should not even try. After Brenda spills her guts, Lois spills hers about her own problems with Eddie.

That night Brenda fantasizes about Sonny. First, Sonny has a straight job and is very boring and nerdy, he won't even make love to her. In the second black and white fantasy, Sonny is dangerous and they have a sensuous encounter.

As a lovesick Brenda seeks solace in a box of chocolates, Ned admits how close he came to spilling the beans to Lois the night before.  Promising he'll soon set things right, Ned persuades Brenda to keep mum for a while longer. But when Brenda learns ELQ bought Deception, she rips into Ned for stealing her birth rite.

Lois calls Sonny and invites him to lunch with her and her friend (Brenda who doesn't know). Sonny gladly accepts the offer. When Sonny shows up things are tense between them but quickly their steaminess returns and all is right in the world again or at least for a little while.

Brenda wants Ned to finance her and Lois record company but he declines. Brenda hustles to line up investors for her new record label. Brenda tells AJ about their record company idea. She and Lois talk about how much money they are going to need for their label. Sonny offers to be their investor.

Ned cautions Brenda against following through on her plans to accept money from a known gangster. Brenda and Lois are at Kelly’s talking about how much money Sonny will have to drop and they plan to show him an 18-month strategy for the label. Brenda and Lois show Sonny their proposals for L&B records. But when Sonny wants a 75-25 split, Lois tells him no deal.

After they walk out, they realize they need him and they pretend they left something in the apartment so they can get back in and once there Lois and Sonny go back and forth with offers until they finally come up with something acceptable to both of them and finally agree on a 60/40 split. After Lois leaves, Sonny and Brenda start getting hot and heavy on the couch but then Sean Donnelly shows up and tells Sonny to come down to the PCPD for questioning. Brenda gets angry because, once again they've been interrupted by Sonny's drama. Brenda tells Robin about Sonny being hauled down to the PCPD. Robin informs Brenda that Sonny can’t just walk away from the mob even if he wants to.

Brenda shows up at Lois' with a new short hair cut! She tells Lois they shouldn't go into business with Sonny because he's too dangerous. Brenda tells Lois about saving Sonny’s life after he was shot. Lois tells her to calm down and she'll go talk to Sonny and deal with the problem. Lois goes to Sonny's and he convinces her to keep their partnership. Lois tells Brenda that Sonny convinced her that his dealing with L/B will be legitimate.

Brenda comes to see Sonny and tells him that they should only have a professional relationship, strictly business. When Sonny agrees, Brenda is stunned and a bit discouraged. Sonny gets Brenda all hot and bothered and then sends her on her way.

DVD #2B  Sonny takes Brenda out to look for studio space. They talk about their relationship. Sonny plays it cool just to get on Brenda’s nerves, which works well. Brenda finds a crabby Ned in The Grill. Ned tells Brenda that if Sonny is at the DC gig there will be no Eddie Maine on stage. Brenda tries to persuade Sonny not to come to DC but he insists on seeing his investment.

Sonny and Brenda fly first class to Washington DC to see Eddie Maine perform. This scene includes the funniest thought caption while they are on the plane trying to be platonic. They get to their hotel and Sonny makes Brenda take the teeny side room attached to the huge suite he's going to have. Ned shows up at Brenda's room and yells at her for allowing Sonny to show up. He tells her she better think of a way for him to miss the show. Brenda tries to seduce Sonny to keep him in the room but he turns her down because he thinks they should go to the show. Brenda gets furious at Sonny and insults him. They end up getting into a huge fight and missing the show. Brenda wants for Sonny to tell her it is not too late for them. Brenda and Sonny sort out their feelings and FINALLY make love!!!!

The next morning, Sonny acts a little indifferent towards Brenda when she is being sweet with him. When she senses it she flips out and slaps him. As soon as she does it, she regrets it and calms down. Brenda fears that she made a mistake last night.They discuss the night and end up making up by making love again.

When they arrive home from D.C., Sonny takes Brenda back to the Quatermaine mansion. As they are kissing passionately, AJ catches them and starts to taunt Sonny. They challange each other to a basketball game which almost causes a brawl between them but Brenda steps in and stops it before there is blood on the court. Brenda calls Lois and offers her congrats on her upcoming wedding. Lois asks Brenda to be her maid of honor when she and Eddie have their formal wedding. AJ tells Brenda that Ned is marrying Katherine. In exchange for marring Katherine, Ned gets full control over his family’s voting rights ELQ for one full year. Brenda confronts Ned about marrying both Lois and Katherine. Ned plans to find some dirt on Katherine to hold over her head (Katherine is blackmailing the Q’s to get Ned to marry her). Brenda asks AJ and Jason what Katherine is holding over Ned’s head.

Sonny calls Brenda to ask her out but she says she can't because she has to go to a charity event with the Q's (the first annual Nurses Ball). Sonny says okay but once they are off the phone Sonny immediately tries to get a hold of tickets so he can go see Brenda but he's told they are sold out. Stone is in the room practicing Romeo and Juliet which Robin has asked him to perform with her at the Nurses Ball and he's embarrassed. Sonny gives him a pep talk and goes over the lines with him. It's sweet to see them both happy, healthy, and in love, also funny to hear Sonny recite Shakespeare.

Sonny tracks down Lucy Coe, who is hosting the charity even and gives her a big "donation" in order to get himself a table right next to the Q's table. Everyone in town is at the Nurses Ball. Brenda arrives in a black dress that isn't really a dress but some sort of mini top with long skirt made to appear like a dress. She walks in on AJ and Jason's arms. Brenda says hello to everyone at her table and told how beautiful she looks.

Sonny comes up and surprises her. He invites her to sit at his table.Brenda is thrilled to see him and quickly leaves her table to share his with him. Lots of different acts take the stage. Brenda sees Ned there with Katherine Bell. She pulls him aside and yells at him. Ned tells her that he is doing everything he can to protect Lois's interests so she should mind her own business. Ned tells Brenda to back off for everyone’s sake. Brenda is ticked off at him. Miguel performs and Brenda enjoys the performance which irritates Sonny.

After the ball, Sonny takes Brenda back to his place where Brenda finds it necessary to call Lois and tell her about Miguel’s fabulous performance and how sexy all the girls thought he was. Sonny quickly seduces Brenda off the phone and they make love.

Sonny and Brenda wash strawberries together for a second before throwing them aside to make love! Afterwards, Brenda and Sonny talk business. Brenda gets defensive and feels insecure with her place in the partnership. They make up just as Lois arrives with the contracts ready to sign. Everyone signs and then they all toast L&B Records. Lois leaves and Sonny and Brenda start to undress each other once more but Lois ends up coming back and interrupting because she has nobody to celebrate with. The three of them decide to go to the Outback for a celebratory lunch. While there they try to convince Miguel to "join the party" aka join the label.

Brenda wants Lila to get to know Sonny. Brenda wants to invite Sonny to Ned’s wedding. Brenda calls Sonny to tell him that Lila told her to invite him to Ned's wedding to Katharine Bell. Sonny arrives for the wedding and while he and Brenda are sharing some laughs, AJ walks up and ruins it by insulting Sonny. He gets angry but Brenda calms him down and they return to normal. Lois shows up at the Q's, where the wedding is being held and Ned aka Eddie Maine spots her. He runs over to Brenda and tells her to get Lois out of there immediately no matter what she has to do. Brenda asks Sonny to please take Lois to the Outback and not to ask any questions. He gets really mad at her because he thinks she's ashamed of him so he grabs Lois' arm and storms out.

Later, Brenda meets up with Sonny and Lois at the Outback to see Miguel's performance. It's Maxie's birthday and Miguel serenades her. The three of them talk about how they have to sign Miguel but don't understand why he won't join their label. Lois knows why but she won't say because she promised Miguel she wouldn't. Sonny gets Lois to persuade Miguel to come to him with his problem to see if he can help him. Miguel got in trouble back home in Puerto Rico. He was a big music star there but something happened with the mob and he and his family had to flee to keep their lives. If he goes back into music they will find him or his family and kill them. Sonny tells him that he knows people there and can fix this problem as long as Miguel signs with L&B records once he does. Miguel seems apprehensive so Sonny offers to fly to Puerto Rico to get verification from the man that is out to get Miguel that he will no longer go after him or his family so long as Miguel signs the contract when he gets back.

Brenda shows up at Sonny's apartment to apologize for what happened at the wedding. He won't listen to her because he's too busy packing for Puerto Rico. Brenda is upset that he was going to leave without telling her and she is worried that he is going to get hurt. Brenda is sure that Sonny going to Puerto Rico will get him into trouble, as he will be using his Frank Smith connections to help Miguel. Sonny brushes her off a bit and leaves. Sonny arrives in Puerto Rico to meet with Juan Fernandez. Sonny flexes his Frank Smith connections and buys Miguel’s old contract. Lois and Brenda dish Sonny and Ned over candy bars and old movies. Brenda makes herself scarce when Ned arrives at Lois’s apartment.

Lois arrives at the Q mansion to see Brenda. Lila offers the gatehouse to Lois as a base of her record company. Lois tells Brenda about the gatehouse and that she will be living there too. Brenda reminds Lois that she is changing the rules on Eddie/Ned by moving to PC. 

Brenda is looking for Sonny at his old club but he's not around, instead she finds Stone and they chit chat a bit. Sonny comes in from behind them having just arrived home from Puerto Rico. Things are still very icy between him and Brenda. Once Stone leaves, they get into a deep discussion about family and pride, then they make up. Brenda tells Sonny that Lila's invited him over for tea which he agrees to. They both have a giggle about it.

Sonny, Brenda, and Lois go to the Outback to surprise Miguel with the great news from Puerto Rico. Miguel is beyond thrilled and says he'll join L&B records. Lois says he and the band will have regular gigs at the Outback to tighten up their act and she wants him to start writing his own material. Lois lets them all know that she found studio space. It's on the Q's property and called the gatehouse which she will also be able to reside in rent free.

Brenda and Ned go a few rounds on Ned’s stupid choices. Ned has an idea about how to get Lois not to move into the gatehouse. Ned tells Brenda about his Brooklyn idea. Brenda can’t believe he expected Lois to give up her career and move back to Brooklyn. Ned wants her help with Lois while he gets the goods on Katherine. Lois moves into the gatehouse. Brenda tries to get Lois to steer clear of Katherine now that she is on Q property.

Brenda is at the Q mansion preparing for the tea with Sonny, Lila, and herself. Sonny arrives with flowers for Lila (played by a different Lila than the one we've come to know and love). Sonny and Lila bond over their love of food and business, it seems they both have a lot in common. Sonny, Brenda, Lois, and Miguel check out the gatehouse and sign Miguel's contract.

Brenda goes to Deception to pick up her paycheck. There are a bunch of blondes in the lobby there to audition for her job. Lucy tells her it's all Katherine Bell’s idea to replace Brenda. Lucy thinks that Katherine is blackmailing the Quatermaines to gain control of Deception. Brenda and Lucy vow to get Katherine. Brenda tells Ned he has to get Katherine not to replace her at Deception. Brenda goes to Katherine, who is a total snob. Katherine tells her that blondes are more desirable.

Brenda shows up at Sonny's furious about what happened at Deception. Sonny and Brenda have a heart to heart about Brenda's insecurities from childhood. Brenda gets jealous of blondes because her sister is a blonde and her father always favored her sister over her. Sonny gives Brenda a pep talk on how to prove to Katherine how much she needs her at Deception and also how to negotiate a great contract for herself. Brenda cries to Sonny again about possibly being replaced. Sonny tells her that she is playing right into Katherine’s hands. She needs to act like she does not need the Deception gig and she is willing to walk when her contact is up. Brenda goes to Deception, she tells Katherine that she does not give a damn about her modeling gig at Deception. She has a better offer and she is leaving. Katherine backtracks and wants to re-negotiate her contract. Katherine ends up begging Brenda to stay!

Lois announces that Miguel  has a gig tonight at The Outback. Brenda surprises Miguel with a silk shirt to wear for his performance. The gals are horsing around with Miguel when Sonny walks in. Miguel practices at the studio while Sonny, Brenda, and Lois watch. Miguel does a great job and they are going to start promoting him in Puerto Rico since he already has buzz there. It will help him get buzz in the USA. 

While Lois is taking care of business in the living room, Sonny pulls Brenda into the studio and tells her to take her clothes off. Then he throws everything off the table and they begin to fool around on it. Katherine comes to the gatehouse and how it would be awkward if she (Lois) were still interested in her (Katherine's) husband Ned. Lois has no clue what Katharine is talking about because she is married to Eddie Maine (actually also Ned). Brenda hears this from the other room and jumps off the table with Sonny just in time to get Lois away before she can find out the truth about Eddie/Ned. Ned pops into the gatehouse later on and finds Brenda on the sofa nursing a headache. She tells him about Lois and Katherine almost coming to blows. Ned is worried.

Miguel performs at the Outback. Brenda and Miguel talk about love. He tells her about Lily, the woman he is in love with. He can't be with her because her father hate's him. Sonny is jealous of the attention Brenda gives to Miguel.
