DVD #7A  At the club, Sonny needles Mike who continues to annoy him. Stone tells Sonny about his run in with Mac. Sonny confronts Mac, and Felicia intervenes when they get into it.

Fourth of July, S&B picnic in the park. Lily tells Sonny that her father is in the hospital after taking a bullet. One by one the cast reads a portion of the Declaration of Independence (nice touch) and enjoy the fireworks.

Mac has bugged Harry's office and listens in on Sonny’s meeting with Harry. They hear the two men talk about Rivera. At Outback, S&B gaze into each others eyes and kiss. Later, Ned tells Brenda that Mac has been investigating Sonny. Lois breaks up their fight and he tells them both that Sonny’s word is meaningless and he plays the tape for them. Lois wants Sonny out of L&B. Ned thinks they need more for their case. They need a legal wire taping. Ned pressures Bren to wear they wire, she knows its a bad idea. Brenda needs time to think. Brenda gives Sonny another chance to come clean with her.

Stone tells Sonny and Robin that his T-cells have dropped. Mike comforts an upset Brenda. Brenda tells Mike that Sonny lied. Brenda tells Lois that Sonny did not come clean with her. She would have stood by him if he just told her the truth. Lois questions how she could live like that. Lois also pressures Brenda to wear the wire. Brenda is torn about whether to wear the wire. She wants to try one more time with Sonny. Later, she asks Sonny to go away with her. He refuses pointing out that Stone needs him. She brings up Rivera and he lies again to her.  Brenda is still hesitant about wearing the wire but agrees. Brenda is very conflicted about the wire. Ned and Brenda meet with Mac. Mac wants to bring in Garcia in. Brenda tells Garcia that the only way she does wear the wire is that the tape will stay under her control.

Harry tells Sonny about the guys who hit Rivera.  Mike cautions Sonny not to shut Brenda out. Lily overhears N&L and Mac talking about Brenda wearing the wire. She goes straight to Sonny and tells him. He gets angry at her and says Brenda would never turn on him. Sonny starts checking around with Mike, and Laura to see if Brenda has been asking questions about his business. Sonny asks Laura if she has told anyone about his business. She admits that Mac has asked about him but Brenda has not.

Sonny talks to Lily. Brenda is misguided into thinking she will somehow be protecting Sonny by wearing the wire. Bren wears the wire, (oh the look on Sonny's face when she starts to question him). But when he resists she doesn't press. He goes to the bathroom, she takes the wire off and throws it in the drawer. He checks her jacket, and doesn't find it. He kisses her urgently, they wind up in bed. Later, she seems so sad. She tells Mac and Felicia that she couldn't go thru with it. Brenda tells Mac and Felicia that she tried to tape Sonny but could not do it. Felicia tells her that if she can’t do it without any reservations then she can’t do it.

Unfortunately, she decides to try it again. Miguel finds Brenda crying before their dance rehearsal. Sonny and Brenda hug each other tightly (like they are both saying goodbye). Brenda tells Sonny she can’t handle the evasions and half-truths. She asks him point blank about Frank, Rivera, and what he does when he is not at L&B. He responds by telling her how much he loves and trusts her. He kisses her deeply one last time and pulls out the wire. Sonny tears up the bedroom looking for other bugs. Brenda learns that he knew about the wire. As Brenda tries to explain, Sonny goes ballistic and kicks her out.  She begs for him to understand. Sonny leaves as he's afraid of what he might do to her, she's devastated and collapses to the floor. A sobbing Brenda, throws some things into a bag and leaves.

Brenda tells Mike and Luke that Sonny has been lying the entire time. They do not seem surprised and she wonders who warned Sonny about the wire. Miguel confronts an upset Brenda at the guesthouse. Lily sees Sonny on the docks, he tells her what happened and that his relationship with Brenda is over. N&L find Brenda asleep in Miguel's arms and she tells them all. Lois wants Sonny out of L&B but he will not go quietly.

Back at Luke's, Sonny tells Stone that he kicked Brenda out and that she was working for the cops. Sonny tells Luke he knows that Lois helped convinced Brenda. Sonny and Lois have it out, she wants him out of L&B, he refuses. She threatens to walk, he threatens lawsuit. Brenda tries to explain to a confused Robin why she wore the wire (still doesn't make sense). Robin goes to see Brenda. Lois tells Brenda that Sonny is playing hardball. L&B figure out that Lily must have been the one who overheard and told Sonny. Brenda takes off and when Lily returns to Kelly’s, she finds Brenda waiting for her.

Ned & Sonny have it out. Brenda confronts Lily about causing trouble between her and Sonny. Miguel walks in on their fight and Lily tells him about how she tipped off Sonny. Miguel can’t believe that she bought Sonny’s act. He tells her about the tape of Sonny and Harry. Brenda tells Laura that Sonny is in serious trouble.

Sonny and Harry talk about bug in the office and prepare for some serious heat. Harry tells Sonny that he has covered all of his tracks. Lily tells Sonny that her father has developed an infection and she now wants to go to Puerto Rico. Sonny agrees to go with her.

Brenda tries to keep herself busy with L&B work. She later admits to Lois, Ned and Miguel that she does not know how she is suppose to live without Sonny. Lois insists she can stay with her as long as she wants. Brenda wants to find her own place. Brenda asks Ruby if she can live at Kelly's and Ruby agrees. Brenda and Luke.  S&B see each other when she returns for the rest of her things. He is bitter, angry and won't listen. She and Sonny get into another fight and he storms out.
 
Brenda moves into Kelly's, and she realizes that Lily is leaving for Puerto Rico and that Sonny is going with her. Brenda is spitting mad, she tells Miguel. Rehearsal with Miguel ends with Brenda in tears after thinking of Sonny. Miguel gives her a pep talk and the rehearsal continues. Brenda takes solace in Miguel's arms, they make love. Miguel and Brenda agree to be careful with their new relationship, as they do not want to hurt each other. They sneak up to Miguel’s room at Kellys. He wants to make sure they are just not using each other to get through pain. With that they say goodnight. Brenda returns to Miguel’s room not waiting to be alone; they make love again.

Sonny and Lily are on the plane. Lily and Sonny arrive in Puerto Rico to see her father. Rivera takes a meeting with Sonny. Sonny kisses Lily in the garden. Brenda wakes up in bed with Miguel, music montage as she sadly thinks of Sonny. Music continues as she cries in the shower. Lily and Sonny have breakfast in PR. Another music montage as Brenda, at the gatehouse, thinks of Sonny. At the same time, Sonny in a garden in PR, thinking of Brenda. 

Miguel is worried that sex has complicated his and Brenda relationship. She insists everything is fine. TLois is suspicious of Brenda and Miguel great moods when they arrive at L&B. 

DVD #7B  Lily and Sonny by the pool, Lily and Sonny meet with Juan. Sonny and Lily are back at the pool in PR. Sonny and Lily on the plane back from Puerto Rico. She is dreading coming face to face with what they left behind, her conflict with Brenda.

Brenda and Miguel do an impromptu dance rehearsal on the docks. Brenda and Miguel are happy to just have some fun and not have everything be complicated. The AIDS walk in the park gets underway. Brenda and Miguel are there together, turning heads at their obvious involvement. Later, Robin questions Brenda.

Back at Kelly's, Sonny carries Lily's luggage upstairs. They come across Miguel and Brenda, in towels, dripping wet. Sonny calls Brenda a whore and she slaps him. Brenda tells him that he has some nerve when he went off with Lily to Puerto Rico. Lily tells her that nothing happened and tells them off. Brenda and Lily get into it again over Sonny. Lily calls her a whore. Miguel stops Brenda from tearing Lily’s head off.

Sonny is back at Luke's, and he has words with Mike. Sonny and Luke talk about Brenda as Sonny drinks. Sonny tells Luke that Brenda is sleeping with Miguel. He's sick at the thought.

Ned and L&B trying to find way out of their contract with Sonny. The attorney is not encouraging, the only out clause is that Sonny can't infringe upon Lois' creative control. Sonny insinuates to Lois and Ned about Brenda and Miguel. Brenda has to come clean with them about sleeping with Miguel. Lois goes to Sonny to diffuse the situation. Lois tells Sonny they want him out of L&B, he won't budge. He still refuses to resign from L&B. Sonny tells Lois about B&M, she too is sickened at the thought. Ned plots to incite Sonny by using his jealousy towards Miguel to construct a situation where Sonny would cross the line with Miguel and infringe on Lois’s creative control thus breaking their contract. Lois warns Brenda about rebounding to Miguel. Garcia & Ned. Ned tells L&B the investigation is on, Brenda is upset with him.

Sonny and Harry talk business. Lily drops by, Garcia shows up with a search warrant for Sonny’s apartment. Lily sees Sonny's accounting book and slips it into her pocket. Thanks to Lily, the police don't find anything incriminating. Sonny is ever so grateful and offers a thank you dinner to show his gratitude. Sonny and Luke discuss the search.  Sonny tells Luke that he believes it was Ned who helped bring about the search warrant on his place. Sonny tells Luke that he thinks it is time to move. Sonny and Harry.

At Kelly's, Brenda sitting in Miguel's lap, kissing, as Sonny comes in to pick up Lily. S&L quickly depart, B&M are jealous, and S&L are also jealous. S&L at dinner, dancing. Mary Mae sings at Luke's. After her song, Sonny pulls Brenda outside to talk after seeing her all cozy with Miguel. Lois holds Miguel  back from rescuing Brenda so S&B can have it out. Sonny tells her he doesn't want her in his club hanging all over Miguel. She tells him to go to hell. They argue, she walks away, he grabs her, they struggle. Ned comes along and gets involved, trying to protect Brenda. They almost fight but Luke stops them. Ned further incites Sonny who slugs him. Luke yells at them to stop, tells Lois to take her gang and leave. Of course, Lily is there to comfort Sonny.
 
Brenda tells N&L about the argument with Sonny. Sonny and Damian meet. Sonny tells him he is going after Ned. He plans on causing problems for N&L's marriage. Sonny visits Stone at the hospital. Stone thanks Sonny for paying all of his medical bills but he's worried about how much Sonny is spending. Sonny discusses moving with Stone. Jason visits Stone. Stone is preparing to go blind. Sonny is bummed by the news and talks to Luke later.

Sonny apologies to Lois for the scene he made at Luke’s. Sonny gives Lois his expenses he has racked up for Miguel’s upcoming NYC concert. Ned comes in, Sonny overhears that he is leaving on a business trip. Sonny sets his plot in motion (he has a girl hit on Ned in hotel bar, drug him, then take incriminating pictures). Robin tells Sonny about her idea for a memory book for Stone.
 
Lois tells Brenda that when she heard a woman answer Ned's phone, she flew to see him in Boston, found him sprawled in bed with lingerie in the room. A confused Ned arrives back at the gatehouse and explains that he does not know what happened. He is convinced he was setup. Sonny calls Ned and then meets with him to show him the pictures. Sonny wants to make a deal with Ned; stop trying to squeeze him out of L&B and Lois never has to see the photos. Ned refuses to deal and shows Lois the pictures. Lois comes in and tells Sonny off, she's hurt that he would betray her, she calls him sleazy and storms out.

Brenda and Miguel visit Stone. They start talking about him returning to work at L&B when he is released from GH. Stone is upset with Brenda for hurting Sonny. Stone tells them he has a problem working with them considering everything that has happened with Sonny. They convince him that they do not want to lose him as a friend. Things get tense when Sonny arrives to visit as well, and Sonny leaves. Brenda follows him out and asks him if they can get along around Stone for his sake. (great S&B eye communication, they don't have to say anything!). He tells her just to avoid him and leaves. Later, Sonny tells Luke that his plan for Ned crashed and burned.

L&B talk about Sonny, Lois lies to Brenda and doesn't tell her about Sonny setting Ned up. Sonny and Stone talk about Brenda, she still gets to Sonny. Stone still worried about his medical bills, he wants to know what this is costing Sonny. Stone is shocked to hear $30,000. Sonny tells Harry he needs to access money to pay Stone's hospital bill. Harry warns him it isn't wise as they can't legitimately account for the money. Sonny says it doesn't matter (this is what gives the police the evidence they need, leads to his arrest, and ultimately his marriage to Lily).

Brenda does a photo shoot for Deception. Lucy is not happy with the concept for the shoot or Brenda’s energy. Brenda falls apart. Brenda is crying over Sonny as she misses him terribly. Lucy gives her some advice, but Brenda does not care about how much better she is without Sonny, she still loves him.

Laura asks Sonny to sell his portion of the club, she is worried about his mob ties further endangering her family. Luke and Lucky invite Sonny to go camping, he refuses till they call him a wimp. Sonny and Lily have lunch at Ruby's, Brenda comes in and tries to ignore them. After Lily leaves, Sonny comes over to Brenda. She wants to know why he won't sell his L&B if he hates her so much?
 
Sonny heads off camping with Luke and Lucky. Luke and Sonny are in the woods, Sonny is so out of his element. When Luke pierces Lucky's ear, Sonny is disgusted.  Lois and Ned tell Brenda about their new plan to get Sonny out of L&B. Brenda thinks Sonny will smell a setup but agrees to the plan. The L&B gang work out the details of their plan for Sonny. Lois calls Sonny.

Sonny arrives at L&B as part of Ned and Lois’s setup. They set him down in front of pictures of M&B, they definitely make his stomach turn but he doesn't say a word. They can tell Sonny is uncomfortable with the photos of Miguel and Brenda splashed all over. A giggly Brenda and Miguel arrive arm and arm to twist the knife a little more. Sonny suffers silently and leaves when he can't hack it.

Stone is home from the hospital. Stone arrives home. Sonny tells Stone they are moving to Sean Donnely’s old penthouse. Sonny shows Stone, Robin, and Luke his new penthouse pad. Kevin and Lucy throw a welcome home party for Stone. Mac and Sonny agree to avoid each other for the night. Stone gives a nice toast which chokes Sonny up.

Stone and Sonny are moving into the penthouse and packing up his things at the old apartment. Sonny sees Brenda everywhere in the apartment. Lily shows up and gives him a welcome distraction. Sonny stops by the first day of filming the music video. Lois tries to ignite Sonny, he is looking extremely pained till Lily comes by and reaches out to her as an escape. Miguel tells Brenda that he does not believe Sonny and Lily are sleeping together. Lily and Sonny make love. Back at Sonny's old place, he's brooding over Brenda and winds up making love to Lily. Sonny and Lily head to Luke’s club for dinner.
