Though she has had a number of science fiction roles, and guest starred in such popular shows as ER and Sliders, Chase Masterson is perhaps best known as Leeta, the Bajoran Dabo girl turned First Lady of Ferenginar on Star Trek: Deep Space Nine. Introduced in the third season episode 'Explorers', Leeta quickly became a popular recurring character, and went on to appear in several episodes a season, including 'Bar Association', 'Let He Who is Without Sin...', 'Doctor Bashir, I Presume?', 'Call to Arms', 'Sacrifice of Angels', 'You Are Cordially Invited...', 'It's Only a Paper Moon' and 'Take Me Out to the Holosuite'. Chase Masterson even got to portray the Mirror Universe version of Leeta in 'The Emperor's New Cloak', and made her final appearance on the series in 'The Dogs of War', the penultimate episode of the series.
Since the end of Star Trek: Deep Space Nine, Ms. Masterson has appeared in the made for television films Lightning: Fire from the Sky, Terminal Invasion, and the direct to DVD film Advanced Warriors.
Apart from her acting career, Chase Masterson is also a singer, with the CD Thrill of the Chase, a jazz cocktail album.
Chase Masterson is currently the host of the new sci-fi internet radio show on TheFandom.com, every Monday, with upcoming guests such as Connor Trineer (Star Trek: Enterprise), Dean Haglund (The X-Files, The Lone Gunmen), Claudia Christian (Babylon Five) and more.
