Federation Starship USS Enterprise-E, NCC 1701-E

The Enterprise-E is a Soveriegn-class vessel, built after the destruction of the USS Enterprise-D in orbit and on the surface of Veridian III in 2371.

Stardate 49827.5 - the Enterprise-E was launched from the San Francisco Yards over Earth.

Stardate 500146.2 - the Enterprise, with Betazoid scientist Lem Faal, went to the Galactic Barriar in an effort to open a passage through the barriar, to explore an entire new realm of space. The omnipotent Q, along with his wife and child, intervened, though. Q took Picard on a trip through time, to show that the barrier wasn't meant to keep humanity trapped inside, but to keep 0, a powerful enemy of the Q Continuum, out.

Stardate 50368.0 - the USS Slayton, Excelsior-class, was destroyed by the Romulans in orbit of Chiaros IV.

Stardate 50390.8 - Starfleet Command ordered the Enterprise to Chiaros IV in the Geminus Gulf, with Ulian Ambassador Aubin Tabor and Vice Admiral Marta Batanides onboard. The people of Chiaros IV were on the verge of voting to either join the Federation, or sign an alliance with the Romulan Star Empire. Ambassador Tabor was an agent of Section 31, and the mission was a failure due to deals made between Section 31 and the Romulan Tal Shiar.

Stardate 50893.5 - the ship had only been in space with a full crew for a year before Captain Picard went against orders and took the Enterprise from the Romulan Neutral Zone to Earth, to defend against the Borg attack. The Enterprise followed a Borg sphere into a temporal vortex, and helped Zefram Cochrane succeed in his first warp flight, and make first contact with the Vulcans in 2063 while repelling Borg intruders on the ship.

Stardate 50907.2 - the Enterprise was docked at McKinley Station above Earth, for repairs to the ship and medical evaluations of the crew after their return to the 24th century.

2373 - after the fall of the Thallonian Empire, the Enterprise provided escort and humanitarian aid to refugees en route to Deep Space Five. Once at the space station, a conference was held between Ambassador Spock, Admirals Edward Jellico & Alynna Nechayev, and Captain Picard, as well as Danteri & Thallonian representatives. It was Commander Riker's suggestion that one ship be sent into former Thallonian space, offer humanitarian aid and assitance, and report back to the Federation. With Spock and Picard's backing up the suggestion, Captain Mackenzie Calhoun and the crew of the USS Excalibur, Ambassador-class, were sent into Thallonian space.

2374 - during the Dominion War, the Enterprise was involved in several battles with the Cardassians and the Jem'Hadar. The Enterprise underwent repairs at Starbase 209 for several weeks, and shortly before repairs were completed, Starfleet had retaken Deep Space Nine from the Dominion. While the ship was at the starbase, Captain Picard, Lieutenant Commander Data & Chief Engineer la Forge undertook a top secret mission, deep in Dominion territory.

Captain Picard & the Enterprise hosted the reception welcoming Regent Cuzar and her people into the United Federation of Planets, as a protectorate. After the ceremony, the Enterprise was to go to the Gorin system, since the Diplomatic Corps was busy with Dominion negotiations.

Towards the end of the Dominion War, Captain Picard took the Enterprise-E to the Ba'ku planet in the Briar Patch after Data seriously malfunctioned. There they uncovered a Starfleet - Son'a alliance to force resettlement of the Ba'ku and irradiant the planet to gain the metaphasic radiation from the rings surrounding the planet. Captain Picard, Doctor Crusher, Counselor Troi, Data & Worf defied orders and defended the Ba'ku, while Commander Riker & Chief Engineer la Forge contacted the Federation Council, to convince them to call off the Ba'ku resettlement.

Shortly after the Dominion War, the Enteprise was assigned to a science mission, a low-gravity study on Primus IV. Lieutenant Melora Pazlar was given a temporary assignment to the ship, as a mission specialist. Instead, the Enterprise went on a rescue mission to the Elaysion homeworld, also called Gemworld, which also had five other sentient low-gravity species.

After the mission to Gemworld, Captain Picard requested that the Enterprise escort Ambassador Worf, the new Federation Ambassador to the Klingon Empire and former Enterprise-D senior officer, to the rendevous with the IKS Gorkon for his first assignment on taD.

2375 - the Enterprise crew, with the help of Ambassador Spock and Romulan Sub-Commander Folan, discovered the cause of Dead Zones, areas of space that inhibited electrical systems, warp drives and supspace communications. The Dead Zones affected Mars, Deep Space Nine, Section 19 of the Romulan Neutral Zone, a Federation research colony on Gamma Hydra IV, and the Malinga Sector of the Klingon Empire, among others.

2376 - three months after the Dominion War, the Enterprise, with Commander Elias Vaughn onboard, was patrolling the Badlands for Breen activity. Instead, they found a derelict Cardassian freighter, with the Bajoran Orb of Memory in it's cargo hold. The Enterprise took the orb to Deep Space Nine, where Picard & Vaughn assisted in the evaluation of possible Dominion intentions toward the station, and the quadrant in general.

During the Gateway crisis, Commander Will Riker took command of the USS Enterprise to mediate a dispute between the Deltans and their long-time enemies, the Carreon. Neither side would stand down, and Commander Riker's tactics caused the Enterprise to become a target of both sides. When the joint fleet of Klingon, Starfleet and Romulan ships arrived under the command of Captain Jean-Luc Picard of the USS Marco Polo, the battle quickly ended, and both the Deltans and the Carreon were invited to confront the alien Iconians.
