This loft has produced FIVE World Champions and two of those performances occurred at the Great Pageant of Pigeons (1981 & 2001).
This loft has now produced two back to back National Pigeon Association (N.P.A.) Grand National Champions. Host states for the Grand National occurred in Birmingham Alabama 2004 & Lancaster Pennsylvania 2005.
The New and current World Record produced by this loft for a Parlor Roller is 662 feet 1 inch (201. 8 Meters). Parlor Rollers are the Ultimate Breed in Performing Pigeons. Oh yes Onward and forward, I shall strive to the 1,000-foot barrier and beyond!

This was the first National Pigeon Association (N.P.A) Grand National Title for Paul Gamino of Bakersfield California and to top it off the National Title came with a World Record performance of 320 feet 7 inches (97.75 Meters). The Great Pageant of Pigeons
(November 20, 21, 22, 2003 in San Bernardino California)
The conditions were exactly the same as they were in 2001 with no wind to aid in the Parlors performance. This was a different course because an administration building now stands where the first Parlor Roller broke the 200-foot barrier.
What else can I say except that it was a great day to roll in beautiful San Bernardino California. There were record amounts of Parlor Rollers shown at the Great Pageant of Pigeons with a 110 Parlor Rollers entered and a 110 Parlor Rollers rolled. There were 20 Parlor Rollers over the 104-foot barrier. A grand 31 birds certified. Our group started rolling at 12:30 and didnt finish until well after 5:30 in the evening.
Thats what happens when you have a combined group of Parlor Rollers roll approximately 3, 475 feet during one contest and that's only each Parlors longest roll.
The wonderful thing about "Records" Parlor fans... "Records" are made to be broken.

Let's say for a moment your reading these results and scratching your head in wonder and have know idea what a Parlor Roller Pigeon is or how they perform... please read on...
Parlor Roller Pigeons are a breed of Pigeons that turn backward summersaults along the grass during a performance. They're allowed two performances and the roll that is the longest of the two without stopping wins the contest. Parlor Tumblers are a rare and unique variety of Pigeons. Unique because when fully developed they cannot fly. Parlors are uniquely different due to the fact that Parlors can perform right before your eyes. Unlike a flying tumbler or flying roller Pigeon which performs in the sky above you Parlors are performed on a soft grass area to insure that no harm occurs during a performance.
Parlor Tumblers come in three types, which are a single performer, double performer, and the rolling type. The single performer should make but one turn, consisting of a straight backward somersault. The double performer should make two successive turns, consisting of two straight backward somersaults. The Parlor Roller performers should make a series or number of straight backward turns. The performance is an actual roll on a soft grass area. All three type can be found in the United States and I raise strictly Parlor Rollers.
