Physiology: The first thing that should be pointed out about the Morriette is that they are all female. Why this was deemed necessary is not fully understood, but scientists guess that it was judged to be suitable within their role as the guiding element of the demon-armies of Lafe.

The best way to describe a Morriette is as an Elayan female with gigantic bat like wings and a long prehensile tail. The colour of their iris's though are never fixed, being able to shift between blue, green, brown, red, yellow and amber depending on their mood. Morriette have been formed from several DNA strings and are thus quite tough when compared to other races.

As a whole, a Morriette though appearing no more stronger in build than Elayans, are in fact very strong, nearly twice as strong as a strong Human. They also are very light, possessing bones that are hollow like that of Mistelareia, though this is made of the same sort of material as Katani bones, so they are still stronger than that of a Human.

Morriette also possess a number of internal advantages over other races. They have twin hearts that pump an efficient form of blood around their bodies. This blood is slightly acidic in nature as well, able to in time melt through most substances with prolonged contact. Meanwhile, their lungs are extrememly efficient and are connected their hollow bones that enable them to store extra air allowing a Morriette to able to hold their breath for upto quarter of an hour.

In addition to it's other properities, Morriette blood possesses an active immunity agent which also enables the Morriette to better fight of diseases and poisons. Katani venom for example rarely works on Morriette and a Morriette does not normally fall ill for long, if they ever fall ill at all.

Their digestive tract is based on the same sort of tract that Katani use, enabling them to palate a lot more substances than other races. They also have Mistelareia like noradrenalin glands, which allow them an excessive amount of energy.

Their brain is attached to a sophisticated nervous system that forms part of their sentience. This couple with a higher mental speed makes Morriette much fast reflexed and capable of maintaining a complete awareness of their surroundings at all times even when focusing in on a single task. Morriette are also capable of resting one half of their brain at a time, meaning they never really need to sleep at all, though for eight hours out of every twenty four there is a drop in performance as one side or the other rests.

All Morriette have what could be described as an alluring beauty. This is further enhanced by the release of hormones from thei glands that can play on certain races (like Humans, Elayans and Mistelareia) natural senses, further enhancing their attraction to the Morriette.

Morriette can reproduce by having sexual intercourse with males from other Carbon based primary humanoid genetic band (this includes Humans, Merfolk, Elayans and Efell). The Morriette always though goes through a five month pregnancy no matter who the fertilising party was and give birth to another female Morriette, their own genetics overriding that of the fathers.

The young Morriette mature very quickly, learning to talk and walk within three months of birth, being able to fly by the time they are one and reaching full maturity between the ages of four and six. During these sols, the young morriette absorbs a lot of information.

As Morriette grow old (they live to 100 sols naturally, though some have known to reach upto 160 sols), their appearance rarely alters. They seem to be just as young as vigourous as they once were and Morriette are capable of breeding throughout their whole lifetime. Usually, it's internal organ failure due to overexertion though that causes them to keel over.

History: The Morriette were created by Jaisaius as part of the demon army project's. Originally, they were made as an attempt to fend off the Katani as the Katani prepared with the Independant Alliance to attack Lafe, but instead ended up involved on both sides of the conflict between Lafe and Cyran Dor.

Morriette through the millenia though have gained a number of bad reputations as both deadly mutants and sly succubus. This is rarely fair and many Morritte try their best to prove that they as far away from this idea as possible. The truth though is, deep beneath all their attempts to hide it, these mutants were bred for war.

Morriette within the Nations:

Cyran Dor: After the demon rebellion, a large number of Morriette ended up working within Cyran Dor. These have continued to remain Cyran Dor to this day, Morriette of the modern age normally belonging to any number of Cyran Dor military units as both deadly soliders and sometimes it's leaders as well.

Delta Feareo: Here the Morriette are more passive. Many Morriette flee to Delta Feareo in the hopes of starting a new life as far from the purpose they were bred for. With Delta Feareo's open minded attitude, they find themselves welcomed and respected as individual people, rather than being judged as a race as a whole.

Lafe: Still, the largest concentration of Morriette is in Lafe. Though thanks to the treaty of Calmarota the Morriette are free to make what ever choices they like in life, many still end up recruiting and joining the Demon Armies of Lafe.

Independant Alliance: Another large influx of Morriette exists within the Independant Alliance. Like Delta Feareo, they are welcomed and respected here, though they are often found to join Independant Alliance armed forces fighting along beside the Katani who at least somewhat understand their races past and manipulation at the hands of Lafe.

Independants: A few Morriette strike it out on their own, setting up their own little independant colonies. The trouble comes when wishing to procreate, but several methods have been achieved to get around this problem. They also suffer from constant Mutant Hunter attacks, but the Morriette, born and bred as they are, are more than capable of fending these off.
