SPAM
I hate spam. I HAAAAAAATE spam. There's a bill in congress that would put the same restrictions on unsolicited e-mail as on unsolicited mail, that is oposed by some people. Who would opose less spam?!?!??! "it's unfair to businesses" no, its unfair to get an e-mail from John564165418168468464864@656fd5g4fd565fdg41h56df4h66.com with the subject "wassup" that goes on to talk about travel plans or pornography, and has no return address, 1000 times a day!

I'm not going to say much on the recent school shootings, specifically because if someone starts me on the trend of the media to blame the media (video games), I'll go on for about 8 hours... but i do have a few timely quotes:
The first is an article from the National Review by Dace Kopel, entitled "Sure Blame the Gun"
The killer told an adult and several students he was going to shoot up the school. They did nothing. Blame the gun.
The whole article is quite good, and can be found here.
The second is from Game-Revolution.com, by some guy called duke or whatever, about how video games arn't given enough respect by the mainstream media.
It's pretty simple: People are prejudiced against games. Like black actors who can only get jobs playing pimps and drug dealers, the only time you see video games on television is when some deranged teenager huffs a bottle of Pine-Sol and shoots up his homeroom. "He played video games!" the pundits all cry.
Of course he played video games! Most teenage boys play video games! Might as well say he ate hamburgers. It would have been more interesting if he didn't play games.
The whole article is also quite good, and can be found here
