The first person I have come across in my gaming board exploits that I can honestly say is a lamer, n00b, fanboy, AND troll all in one. XBOX RULES has been acting like a complete asshole at gamespot.com for a long time, earning the USN Idiot of the Moment.

Here is what I could find of his posts, and his replys to those who replied to him... I also believe hie is a n00b (well, of course he's a n00b, but i mean a NEW n00b) as I couldn't find any post by him prior to last week.

To make things easy, XBOX RULES posts will be in yellow, my posts will be in orange, and 3rd parties will be white. (Note to the unaquained, gamespot has a system wherein you reply to news storys)

Also, a few things about myself: I don't have anything against the X-Box, though I will be buying a GameCube. My first system was a NES and my favorite games are Terranigma and EarthBound, both SNES titles. And I don't care if a game is "kiddy". Games should be FUN, first and foremost. Now...

Recently, I've been doing some research at the GameSpot forums, and I've discovered some lovely tidbits about everyones favorite lamer, XBOX RULES:

• XBOX RULES first post was XBOX RULES HAS ARRIVED! in the GameCube forum on September 21st, 2001. That post has since been deleted.
• September 22nd, in the "Microsoft Delays X-Box Launch"
  You are a complete idiot.
  1) Xbox has better graphics than any other console. The best graphics card in the business the Geforce 3 for a computer by itself costs over $300.00 and it comes with Xbox.
  2) The best games available at any new console launch ever.
  3) Better third party software support. More third party software developers are developing for the Xbox than the GameCube beacuse they all know that Xbox will sell more.
  4) The Xbox appeals to mature gamers and they are the age group that has money. Nintendo only appeals to little kids who have to rely on parents to buy stuff. Any person over the age of 16 that would buy a gamecube should be shot or arrested because they are either pedophiles or just plain sick.
  5) Microsoft is too large to loose this battle. If they wanted to, they could buy Nintendo and use their intelligence to develope kids games for the Xbox.
  6) Xbox is by far the most superior system to ever reach the planet. Anyone would have to be stupid to buy anything else.
  Anyone that says it is too big or heavy isn't old enough to own one like you little Nintendo fanboy.
• And in the same news story: You must be a real loser as you are in the Xbox forum. Mind you PS2 and Gamecube forums have no exciting news so all of their fanboys go to the Xbox site to see the future of gaming.
• Even more in the same news story: You hit a bullseye in your message. I couldn't do better myself. It's nice to know that I am not the only intelligent gamer in the forums. In fact all Xbox fans are intelligent. If they weren't they would be polluting the fourms like PS2 and Nintendo fanboys. This is a response to someone who said the XBOX would easily sell over 1 million units at launch... unfourtunatly, the X-Box won't be able to ship that many...
• "FLASH!!! XBOX IS THE NEW CONSOLE KING." in GameCube forum on Sept. 22nd: Deleted.
• I don't know how this game will play but does it ever look beautiful. You can even see the NHL logo on the puck. No other system can rival this perfect machine. November 15 can't come soon enough."
• "FLASH!!! XBOX VERSION LOOKS BETTER!" in GameCube Forum, Sept. 22nd. Deleted. What game he was refering to is unknown.
• On September 26th, XBOX RULES posted "FLASH!!! OFFICAL XBOX MAGAZINE NOW ON NEWSTANDS!" on EVERY News Story thread in the forums (15-30 total) ALL were deleted but one, which read: The Officail Xbox Magazine is now on newstands. I recommend that all Xbox buyers, potential Xbox buyers, and undecided buyers pick up this great magazine. There is an article called "70 Reasons to own an Xbox". It is very well done and I guarantee that after Nintendo and Sony fanboys read this article, they will probably reconsider their previous biases toward outdated consoles (PS2) and kiddie consoles (GameCube). Before any of you make childish replies to this message, first read the article! If you still don't want an Xbox after reading it, what can I say? You're an idiot!
• Also, a while ago I remember the "GameCube Marketing Enters Final Phase" and a very assinine posts mocking that the GameCube would be advertised on Saturday Morning Cartoons (like EVERY console). I didn't take note of it at the time, but that was the first time I noticed him.
• He also Editorialized: GameSpot Sucks: The always sensor Xbox fans messages and let offensive GameCube messages stay on the forums. They are all biased towards Nintendo.

And here are some posts I just missed:

• In "Sega's TGS Line-Up"
  Face the facts little Nintendo fanboy, the GameCube got the little kiddie games. Xbox got the best games. It is only fair that the worst system (GameCube)gets the worst games and the best system (XBOX) gets the best games. Instead of whining like a spoiled little bratt, go preorder an XBOX so you can play more mature, great games.
• In a story about Interplay getting rights to The Matrix Games: Sorry PS2 and GameCube fans the Matrix will only be on the Xbox. The Xbox is the only system with the ability to reproduce the game in the greatness it deserves. They would have to reduce the graphics and levels by 50% just to play it on GameCube or PS2. Quit smoking crack and buy an XBOX!
• In "Acclaim shows Release Scheadule": That is the worst list of games I have ever seen. Nintendo fangoys shouldn't brag about these stinkers. Another nail in the coffin for the GameCube. These games aren't good enough to have the XBOX logo on their box. AND It is fitting that the worst console gets the most of the worst list of games I have ever seen from a single developer. How does Acclaim stay in business selling crap like this? I hope that GameCube owners can enjoy the two or three games that may be good on that overhyped piece of colorful crap. Xbox fans will be enjoying cutting edge games from all of the premier developers not kiddie games and crappy games on the GameCube. Nintendo fans should just keep their N64s and buy the most technologically advanced console ever to grace the planet. THE XBOX OF COURSE!
• Another in the Sega TGS story (I think): Look at those kiddie titles for GameCube. Sure glad I purchased an Xbox. This just proves my point that the GameCube is a kiddie machine and 3rd party developers will only develope kids games for it. The serious titles will be made for Xbox and PS2. Even the Japanese don't want to buy GameCube (as evident by the slow sales), they are waiting for the release of the Xbox. Just another nail in the coffin for GameCube. Nintendo should have quit consoles after SuperNES. Xbox is the new king of consoles! Sorry PS2 flamers.
• And some cryptic Subjects to deleted messages: The Community Team is funded by GameCube , Jackie Chan Adventures oh boy!!! , NOTHING CAN BEAT THESE GAMES!!!!!!!!!!! HAHAHA.

  • It is fitting that the greatest basketball player ever (Jordan) will look fantastic on the greatest console ever(Xbox). The question is: Who dominated their competition more; M. Jordan or XBOX. I call it a toss up.

First Impressions: Tony Hawk 3 GC.

• THIS GAME WOULD BE BETTER ON XBOX! HAHAHAHAHAHAHA!
  • The Xbox has built in broadband that would give every Xbox owner the chance to play online (providing they have brodaband available in their town, I do). The graphics would be better on Xbox because of the GeForce 3 (it is actually better than the PC GeForce 3) which is the greatest graphics card to ever be released. Sorry Nintendo fanfoys, flipper just doesn't cut it. Looks like the developers are just warming themselves for the Xbox version.

    As far as Tony Hawk being better on X-Box:
    1. At least GameCube and PS2 will HAVE Tony Hawk 3 this year.
    2. The X-Box may have a more powerful graphics chip, but Tony Hawk relies more on good texturing versus pure polygon power, which is the GameCube's strength.

    Second of all if Japan decides the fate of a console then GameCube is finished already. The GameCube sold about 1/3 of consoles that PS2 did at launch and the PS2 would have sold more if they had more quantities. GameCubes are collecting dust on shelves in Japan when you couldn't even find a PS2 on its release. Sounds to me like the verdict on GameCube is in from Japan: Thumbs down on this lemon of a console. Many believe Japanese consumers are saving their money to buy the real deal: XBOX.

What is scary is that the PS2 would have sold more if they were available. Af GameCube launch, the cubes were on the store shelves collecting dust while PS2 sold three times more and ran out of consoles during its launch a year ago.   • You never disproved anything about what I said about the failure of the GameCube in Japan. PS2 didn't have any killer applications at launch and still outsold GameCube 3-1 and would have been more had more PS2's been available. The Xbox will be released in Japan with tons of games available in the U.S. plus Japanese RPG's that suit the Japanese. The Xbox won't beat out PS2 in Japan but I'm pretty sure that it will beat out GameCube. Notice I never resort to calling anyone names yet all of the Nintendo fanboys resort to childish name calling. They would then make calls to cease manufacturing of GameCubes. They would then put all available GameCubes in large trucks and ask me what to do with their monstrosity. I would say "I'll take them fellas!". I would have them sent to Afghanistan for Bin Laden and his terrorist friends. After playing the GameCube for a week, Bin Laden and his terrorist regiem would surrender to the U.S. and Britan claiming: "We no longer want to live! We have spent a week in Hell! Please save us!".
    Not only is the world a happier place to live because everyone will have Xboxes, the world will be safer knowing that the terrorists have been captured.
    I'm waiting for my phone call.

Story: Rogue Squadron 2 Update.

• THE ONLY DECENT GAME AVAILABLE ON GAMECUBE HAHAHA!
  • This is the only decent game available for the GameCube. No one except Nintendo fandoys care about the long on the tooth Resident Evil Series. Soul Caliber 2 will be on Xbox and PS2 also. Thats it! Only one good exclusive game for this lemon of a console. HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!!!!!!

Story: UFC Tapout unvieled.

• BOO HOO! GAMECUBE GETS LEFT OUT AGAIN. HAHAHAHAHAH
  • UFC for the Xbox and PS2, but not on the GameCube. You Nintendo fanboys getting the picture yet. You can't buy a kiddie system and expect any of the real games that are being developed for Xbox and PS2. No wonder Nintendo stocks are dropping.

Story: Profits on the Horizon for Sony's games division.

• NEXT YEAR PS2 WILL BE $99 LIKE DC. HAHAHAHAHAHAHAH
  • Face it Sony fanboys its almost over. By December Xbox and GameCube will be out and who wants to buy yesterday's news? Don't even argue. Any good PS2 games will be on Xbox (graphics, no load times, more features, etc.) I understand they are coming out with a hard drive add on. Microsoft was smart enough to include one for the same price as PS2 and Xbox is easy to develope for unlike PS2. I hear PS3 is in the works. That means that Sony has lost confidence in the PS2 completely. I'm not a Nintendo fan but I would probably get a GameCube before a PS2. Kiddie games aside, at least it is twice as powerful of a system capable of much more than PS2 and also easier to program. Given the obvious advantages of Xbox and GameCube, why would anyone waste their money on a console no better than the extinct Dreamcast. In a year PS2 will be $99.00, sound familiar?

Story: EA reiterates X-Box Support.

• Too bad EA sucks.
  • EA hasn't released a good game since it's existance. The only reason they survive is because they confuse people into buying the wrong game. They make tons of sports games and everybody thinks it's a different sports game made by Sega or Acclaim and accidentally purchase EA's discusting game. People don't know that the new series of bond was made by EA and not Rare, so now the bond games suck. People think they are going to be just like Rareware's game and it ends up being the garbage EA loves to produce.
  • Shut up you idiot! You're just jealous that EA is developing more games for Xbox than GameCube. EA makes the best sports titles and other great games like Medal of Honour (Best game of E3 by many publications). They don't do a lot of kiddie gamse so the GameCube isn't as appealing to them (nor anyone else over the age of ten). Maybe if you cross your fingers they will make a Sesame Street game for GameCube.   • What you are trying to say bozo is that Xbox hardware can render 5.1 output only if the developer includes it in their software which is true. What makes you think that they won't? GameCube can't support 5.1 even if it is in the software.

  • Sure the GameCube is the best system? It doesn't have Dolby Digital 5.1 for games like the Xbox. The PS2 only has 5.1 support for movies not games. The Official XBOX Magazine has an article "70 reasons to own an Xbox" and this is just one of the many points that shows Xbox's superiority over other consoles. It is clear that Microsoft has designed the best system from the ground up. Game designers can use their creativity to the max with Xbox rather than being held back like with the GameCube and PS2. Don't waste your money on any other console, buy an XBOX!

The Gamecube (sorry, I chose not to use your very witty and intelligent "crappycube" moniker, I bet it took you a long time to think that one up), will support 5.1, just not the exact 5.1 Dolby Digital standard. Although, 5.1 DD is better at very extreme frequencies, you would have to be the Daredevil or a bat to notice the difference. In fact this is a very cool alternative to getting a prohibitively expensive home theater sound setup. Just get the ProLogic II receiver and the appropriate speakers and not just your GC games will be blown into surround sound but also all Dolby friendly products.
  • You Nintendo fanboys just can't admit it. The Xbox is a better system. Dolby prologic II is analog while Dolby Digital 5.1 is as its name suggests, digital. It is like comparing a cassette tape to CD. That is like saying the flipper chip is better than a GeForce 3. Xbox has built in broadband, the G.C. (no). Xbox has a hard drive, the G.C. no. (there are no pauses between levels with the Xbox). Xbox has more RAM and supports 1920x1081 resolution, G.C. don't. Getting the picture. Oh sorry, I forgot, the GameCube has cool colors and a handle, Xbox doesn't (just a serious gaming machine). The Xbox has all of the bases covered and GameCube doesn't, admit it Nintendo fanboys. And please don't answer this message without pure facts like above.
  • 1. Untill someone develops a revolutionary new decompression technology, NO PS2 or XBox game will actually utilize Dolby Digital 5.1 outside of cutscenes and DVD playback.
    2. It costs roughly $1000 to get anything out of 5.1 that cannot be achieved in Pro Logic 2 or regular Surround.

Story: Nintendo Initiates Stock Buy-Back Plan

  • The slow sales of GameCube in Japan paints a picture eerily similar to that of Sega. GameCube's launch in North America won't do well either with Xbox coming out at the same time. Even if the GameCube sells the same amount of consoles as Xbox, Nintendo will lose money. Microsoft can afford to lose money with the Xbox but Nintendo can't. The N64 was a failure and it only had the Playstation as competition. The GameCube has the PS2 and Xbox. It is quite clear that when the smoke rises from the console wars only Microsoft and Sony will be around. And Bill wouldn't have it any other way!
    P.S. This is an evaluation done by a market specialist not me so please don't reply with anti Xbox or PS2 comments. There are no biases in this message just market estimates.

Microsoft will unveil Windows XP in October and Xbox in November affirming Microsoft's software dominance and soon to be dominance in the console market. Take a look at all of the Xbox games in developement for 2002. For $300.00 the Xbox is the steal of the century. A GeForce 3 graphics card by itself is over $300.00 and Xbox comes with one (the one in the Xbox is acutally better), throw in a Pentium 3, 64MB RAM, 10 GB hard drive, 5.1 sound card, broadband card, and a controller and you have the steal of the century. This fall Xbox owners will be grinning ear to ear also while Nintendo and GameCube owners will be wiping away tears of sadness.

    There is an article in Official Xbox Magazine called "70 Reasons to own an Xbox". I guarantee that after reading this article, Nintendo fanboys will realize that the Xbox does everything better than GameCube.

It is nice to have a GeForce3 which makes bump-mapping and anti-aliasing available for those high resolutions which no other console has. Face it. You can't win. Xbox has the most capability.
