The Isans
The Isans are a relatively friendly race of four- legged and three-armed creatures with a hammer-like head that appeared in a very cold world. So cold that the nitrogen and other elements like the oxygen is liquid instead of a gas. (You can make an idea of their world looking Titan, the biggest moon of Saturn). In fact, one could say they're made of ice. When treating with Humans or other "warm" creatures, they're encased in special suits for not melt. The Isan culture hasn't much of special except by the fact they see the war as a game. A ritual game with well-defined rules that everyone must follow. If not, the one that doesn't follow it simply will be cleansed.
Starship: although an important fraction of their fleet is used only for ritual combats with not very offensive weapons, their main ship, the Isan Command Cruiser, an slow but manoeuvrable vessel with the size of an Earthling Cruiser that could be described as a "flying octopus" is fitted with offensive weapons. The main weapon of the ship is the "Ussanj Wrath" a cannon that fires Helium at very low temperatures (over -250°) that freezes the enemy ship. Then, the Command Cruiser rams the enemy vessel to destroy it. Also, they use "Space Disrupters" that, basically increases the "density" of the space, slowing the enemy ship. Unlike the VUX limpets, however, this only works during a short time...
