The Patriarchs and the Myrmidon

The Patriarch:

OVERVIEW: The Patriarch (plural is Patriarchs) are a race that developed on a world with magical properties, and are able to justify it. Through Science. They wear robes denoting their main ability - Yellow for Lightning, Red for Fire, Blue for Water, White for Healing, Black for Telepathy, Green for Communication and Grey for a average ability in them all.

ALLIANCES: The Patriarch society is currently very staunch allies with the Myrmidons (see below), kinda like the Supox and the Utwig, but not symbiotic.

APPEARANCE: Very Tall (8 feet tall), skinny, thin fingers, usually long fingernails. They have blonde hair (usually down to their shoulders) and black eyes. Their skin is grey.

CONVERSING STYLE: Patriarchs use their previous impressions of you. So, if you were really nice the first time, they will be nice to you the next time they meet. If you were a pig, they will be unfriendly. If you openly attacked, they will not converse. They will attack. Your only hope is the Myrmidons...

REASON FOR NOT BEING DETECTED: They live just north of former Ilwrath space (probably Chmmr space now). They were a reclusive people, declaring that once a race found them, they and the Myrmidons would emerge. The Ilwrath found them on the way back from killing the Thraddash. The Myrmidons blew a few to pieces, and they and the Myrmidons emerged. They made contact with the Chmmr just after The Captain went to the Kessari Quadrant.

ALIGNMENT: They are neutral, but are slanted towards the League/Alliance (good guys).

PROBLEM: The Patriarchs are the answer to the ZoG problem (that of the Krisonavar mineral). However, it will take a promise (and a delivery) to fix the Myrmidon problem.

SHIP: The Patriarch Pentagastar is a powerful ship. It's structure is a five-pointed star, with a red pentagram (one point up, two points down, denoting good alignment) in the centre. The five points are coloured Blue, Red, Yellow, White and Black. Primary Weapon: Firing out of the outer points. Blue point - Lightning (like Slylandro Drone) Red point - Fireball/Fusion Bolt (Kzer-Za Dreadnought) Blue point - Slows other ship down (like VUX Limpets, only temporary) Black point- Reverses the ships commands (right is left, vice versa, primary weapon is secondary weapon and vice versa) White point- The Achilles Heel of the Pentagastar, it heals the other ship. Secondary Weapon: Temporary control of the other ship. The Pentagram turns black for the 5 seconds that the Pentagastar has control of the ship. The Pentagastar cannot be controlled at this time, and only the fire key can be pressed. Other: The ship heals 1 crew every 5 seconds, due to the healing Patriarchs on the ship.

 

The Myrmidon:

OVERVIEW: The Myrmidon are brilliant star-fighters who have utilized spontaneous combustion and use it to great effect. They are a peaceful species, but if you mess with them, they will kick your butt so hard that the next 'you' wannabe is gonna feel it. They have armour according to their status, varying shades of red. White denotes a new melee-recruit, Black denotes a new space-recruit. The Armour gets redder by the rank.

ALLIANCES: The Myrmidon society is currently very staunch allies with the Patriarchs (see above), kinda like the Supox and the Utwig, but not symbiotic.

APPEARANCE: Humanoid. Tall (most are around 6'6), large bone structure, black eyes, red hair, red-tinged skin (like the Syreen, but red). Kinda like the ultimate football player...

CONVERSING STYLE: First impressions last. Forever.

PROBLEM: Food. Their large bone structure dictates to them that they have to eat like an adolescent at all times (No comment, Greenish 9!). They are quickly running out of edible substances.

SHIP: The Myrmidon Combustor is a ship that looks like the Androsynth Guardian in Blazer form, just red instead of pink. It shoots its primary weapon out of its sides, making it a brilliant strafing weapon. Primary Weapon: A stream of flame that shoots out of the side, going the full length of a small screen each. Secondary Weapon: Holds a flame at the back, charging the Firebolt like the Melnorme Trader and firing behind the Combustor like the (Coward) Spathi Eluder. :) Other: One interesting thing about this ship is that it doesn't fire forwards. Does this make the Combustor a unique ship or what!
