    Looking for accommodation! Our hall is ideally located in the suburban south side of Edinburgh. Within five minutes walk you can be standing in Cameron Toll Shopping Center or the Inch recreational park. The hall is situated on the main south side bus route and within fifteen minutes you can reach most of the major attractions in Scotland's historic and fun filled capital city. All this makes Millar Hall your number one choice for all your unit, troop and pack city break needs.

Facilities

  •     Main Hall (15mx9m or 50'x30').
  •     Small Hall (7.5mx6m or 25'x20').
  •     Scouters Room.
  •     Large Kitchen with 2 electric cookers, refrigerator, electric urn, crockery, cutlery, and cooking utensils for smaller parties.
  •     Gas central heating and hot water
  •     Male and Female toilets with cloakroom, washing and showering facilities.
  •     Free telephone (incoming, emergency and local outgoing calls only)
  •     Off the street parking.

    Local Attractions
     
  •     Cameron Toll Shopping Center- Right beside our hall is cameron toll shopping center one of Edinburgh's biggest, which has recently been revamped with a huge range off shops, banks, travel agents, pharmacies, fast food, and supermarket outlets. There is also a petrol station and further parking available. The center is open all week from 8:30am to 8pm except Sundays were it closes at 5pm.
  • The Inch Park- There is not enough room in our grounds to hold any games or activities requiring large amounts of space but only five minutes walk away is the park were you have all the space you could possibly require. The park has depending on the season, rugby, and football pitches along with a children's play park.

    Other attractions of Edinburgh include-
            The Castle, Holyrood House, Princes Street, The Royal Mile, Commonwealth Swimming Pool, Royal Museum of Scotland, The National Gallery, etc., etc. For further information look at the Scottish Tourist Board's Edinburgh web page.
