Welcome to Falandia. Here is a little bit of general information.
Falandia is a fantasy world that can only be reached through dreams. There are no humans here, and any who find their way in are transformed, by Falandia's inate magic, into elves. There are four kinds of elves. The wolfriders, uniriders, dragonriders and the regular elves. Offspring of one type may leave their home to become a different type. For example, the son of a wolfrider, may, if he wishes, become a unirider. The animals are alll telepathic, but will only communicate with other animals and their partner. They all know who their partner is at birth and will spend their whole life seeking out that person. Faeries will also hang around a person, but they do not Join and come and go at will.
Timeline: This is about 150-151 years before the start of the Falandian book, (Don't bother looking for it. I haven't finished it yet.) in which the Tarlins, an evil race that took over Falandia, were defeated by a human (elf) girl and her three partners, a dragon, unicorn, and wolf. (sorry, one time thing.) The Tarlins are actual humans, and with their assistants, mainly goblins, demons, and other unpleasant things, are bent on the total destruction of all the good in Falandia. It is the duty of the riders to see that this doesn't happen, so most will seek out the Tarlins and allies and sometimes even give their lives to destroy them. Tarlins are rather cowardly when alone or in pairs, but they often group together in huge parties and go on rampages, destroying everything in their paths.
