Dragonriders

Dragonriders live in the caves in the mountains. They tend to have eyes that can change color a bit according to their moods.
The dragons are the only type of partner who can not be found in the wild. Legend has it that there were once wild dragons, but that they were all killed off in the great plague which only a few dragons survived.
The dragons have their own hierachy based on color, but it leads down from the females, unlike the unicorns, who have male-based hierachies.
Silver: Female. These are the top ranking dragons, and they are the rarest, with a maximum of two eggs per clutch and often not that. They give their riders the usual streak and a power, as well. They produce most of the others, with clutches nunbering between 30-35, though there have been clutches as large as 40 and as small as 20. They produce all types of dragon.
Red: Female. These are far more common then the silvers, though not as common as the yellows. They can have 20-30 eggs in a clutch, though most don't go above 25. they don't produce any reds or silvers.
Yellow: Female. These dragons are sterile, though they do mate. They are the most common females, and the friendliest.
Black: Male. These are the dominant males and are the most likely to catch a silver when she flies. They give only a streak to their riders.
Grey: Male. These are the middle males. They can catch silvers, but will normally settle for reds and yellows.
Tan: Male. One of the types of lower male. They can only catch reds and yellows.
Green: Male. The other type of low male. They can only catch reds and yellows.
White: Both genders. These are the smallest of the dragons. These are all blessed with the healing touch. They are almost as rare as Silvers, averaging two or three in a clutch.
