Bogie was a 2000 ABC Top 20 Contender and a multiple BISS winner, achievements he realized by the tender age of 22 months, handled always by Wendy Bettis. Finishing at just barely 10 months of age, handled by Gary Steele and Lynda, this tall, elegant, beautifully headed, perfect bite, well angled boy took our breath away. In addition to finishing his championship in only 17 shows, with 3 majors, and all BOW wins, he also has a Grand Sweepstakes win, and multiple Specialty Best Puppy wins. His pedigree includes many Legions of Merit (including his sire and dam), Sires and Dams of Merit and ABC Top 20 Contenders. This pedigree, along with his outstanding conformation quality, have proven him to be an extraordinary stud dog, quickly achieving his ABC Sire of Merit status. Bogie had large pawprints to fill and he did just that.

With 14 Champion get at this writing--one a multiple BISS winner, Ch. Rosend's Lady Day and ABC Award of Excellence recipient; and 3 Dams of Merit and 1 Sire of Merit, Bogie has also earned the coveted Legion of Merit recognition. Bogie also sired 2 four-champion litters...quite an accomplishment!

We lost our beloved Bogie to bloat. He was OFA Cardiac BX-CA150/18M/C and had a 24-hour holter (8/00) with 0 PVCs. Bogie was both ausculated and had an ECG w/Doppler, 2/26/01, by a board-certified cardiologist, with no heart abnormalities detected. Also, DNA profile # P76027. Both his parents had also been cleared of SAS by Board Certified Cardiologists and have had 24-hour holters. We have frozen semen available.
