we're moving! to Lubbock! i'm super excited about this move, we'll move near Texas tech (no i'm not going to enroll, mom). right now we drive about 45 minutes to church, and about 40 minutes to work. one way. we spend way too much money on gas, and i'm afraid our cars are going to wear out. SOOOO we're spending $450 a month on this new place that's about 15 minutes from everything (including the its, my nephew).

it's got insulation, and a laundry room, and huge master bedroom and a walk-in closet big enough for both of us (we're both big pack rats when it comes to clothes). there's also lots of shelf space and a big double hang up clothes dealy in the laundry room. oh-oh-- and a coat closet, so you can come over when it's cold, and i'll take your coat and hang it in the closet by the front door. you have no idea (or maybe you do...) of the closet pains we went through in this old house, not to mention the freezing cold/blazing heat with the lack of insulation.

there's a chain-link fence in the front yard for the puppies, and one in the back too. i was afraid to leave them out there the whole time while we were at work (can't leave them inside for that long, they're growing and so is their poop) until today, when Colby mentioned the fact that there's a bolt lock on the wooden fence facing the alley, and if they wanted to get to the dogs, they'd have to go through the neighbor's yard where there are 2, sometimes 3 dogs that collectively weigh about 300 pounds, and don't look so friendly. don't tell anyone, but they are. this was a serious concern of mine, considering how fritzi was stolen. i think it was because he yapped a lot and the neighbors didn't like him. there's a lot of dogs around that part of the neighborhood, and so, contrary to most people's hesitation to move into such a yappy neighborhood, i'm always worried about my dog barking and pissing somebody off and them getting stabbed or poisoned or something horrible like that. if all the dogs are barking, i can sleep.

Christmas should last all year! or at least thru the first part of January
Mood:  caffeinated
Now Playing: I'll be there - The Beatles
We went to Plainview to my parents house yesterday, and had Christmas again. We accidentally slept in again. It's so hard to get up when it's so cold in outside the bed. My parents want to give us an electric blanket, but they make colby nervous, and I know i'll never get out of bed if i had one of those. I'd still like to have one, though.

We made the one point two five hour drive when we woke up (after a piece toast with Jelly and butter). We brought our ps2 and some games, and instead of watching some lame-o movie, colby, ted (my sister, rachel's husband) and i played my new Harry Potter Quidditch world cup game. We had ham and funeral potatoes at dinner (it's a utah thing), and then we opened presents. I bought Amy a blue glitter lava lamp(I bought it off Ebay from Nicolette), and some old city snow flake soap. We also got Isaac the sleep book (Dr. Seuss), and Rachel and Ted a DVD player. I got some drawing pencils and stuff and an art pad, and a hat/gloves/scarf set with some warm knit socks from Nikki baby and Travis. Travis and Nicolette gave Travis a Ripley's believe it or not book, and some pajama pants. Thank you, thank you, thank you!

Mom and Dad got DVDs from everybody (including me) and we forgot they don't have a DVD player, and finally my mom says,"Well terry, we need to go buy one i guess." and the next thing she opened was a DVD player from Travis and Nicolette. and mum says, "ooooh!"

ps i don't know if that link is gonna work, not sure why not. just go to ebay.com and click advanced search, search by seller, and type in acmommy812 to get Nicolette's for sale stuff.

unnecessarily early day
Mood:  d'oh
Now Playing: purple haired anne
Topic: Minda's entries
"tip your delivery driver boy" that's what anne says. her husband delivers for dominos. remember the noid from dominos? avoid the noid. i wonder if his car is fixed yet. he's been washing dishes until he gets enough to deliver again, but i'm feeling way to anti social to approach her and ask. it's weird, sometimes it seems i can't keep my mouth shut, and sometimes i can't open it.

i got up at 8:00am. i was at work by 10am. we didn't have to be here until 2pm. i was/am still chafed about that. so we went to rachel's house here in lubbock (since we live 30 minutes from work, we can't exactly go home and come back, well we could, but it's not worth it) and we saw the itsikah, and did the 8 minutes taebo work out and took a big nap. now were back at work, and there's no work. i wanna curl up and be numb.

I am 18% loser. What about you? Click here to find out! What is your weird quotient? Click to find out!

Weird & unexciting
Now Playing: 7,500w fluorescent doldrum hum
Topic: Colbs' entries
So I don't presently fit any emoticon and this screen keeps changing colour. The Reverend Horton Heat is playing tonight, and I'm not going--hence, Carl and I are sad. The Thrift Store Cowboys are opening up for 'em which is cool since I used to be their utility player--alackaday....

According to Carl who heard the gut spilling of some to-do type fella (Manager of our area for the client we hail), they're pulling their contract so it seems the anemic workload we've had will again diminish 'til they can come up w/ a new client. Not that I care so much, just need enough steady labor to save up $10,000 to buy some studio gear. Looks like I'll be able to reach my goal by August; so for now I study study study about all this sound stuff and get crazy off the anticipatory I-don't-know-what. Pirates are cool.

So many scenarios I can spend days on to no decent or, at any rate, helpful end. Wu Name is Dizzy Cow. I'm rapt w/ bleh. "Dream A Little Dream Of Me," has been in my head awhile now. All the best & beautiful melodies are taken sometimes I feel. Jethro Tull, now that was a flute playing band I can dig. The wooden springs that trickle past and I wonder what's been trodden therein. Little Davy Daverson, we miss you.
