i'm up here in plainview at my parents house, we brought steak and had "Sunday Dinner" which was always a big deal at my house. no mishes though (missionaries, the dudes in suits and sometimes trenchcoats from our church). our dogs were outside running around and wrestling and then one of them came in with BLOOD ON THEIR COAT. rrrrr someone's going to be beaten. i took a big nap today too, and colby's all a fret fret fret about his sound stuff. *sigh* i wish i had a million dollars. i'd buy you a monkey. haven't you always wanted a monKEY!?

we applied for a credit card. sucks doesn't it? i mean, i think we're grown up enough to try to build a little credit to our names without blowing it, well, we better be, seeing as we're trying to get pregnant. can't go impulse buying now, can we? i'd really rather not get a loan for colby's studio, but i think we're gonna. i'm back at work, still doing no work. it's been a pretty uneventful night aside from the phonecall i got from my dad saying nikki baby (nicolette, my brother travis' wife) is pregnant! muy exciting! i've been trying to teach colby some spanish grammar, but it's frustrating, because he's just not as into it as i am, and he's even less into the snippets of german i try to teach him. he tries to humour me though, i mean, i listen to his in depth audio engineering discussions. if you can call them discussions, he talks and i nod and say "right. uh huh." i do try and catch on, it's just not my thing. i'll have to learn it sooner or later though, if i'm going to help any in the studio, i'm just more of a hands on learner, so maybe when he gets some gear it'll become more interesting and real to me. (if he ever lets me have a turn at the little nob board). i've been so absorbed in this new video game i got (well a couple of weeks ago i got it), harry potter and the chamber of secrets...i've almost beat it, but i have to get a few more house points to win the house cup (i can go into the awards ceremony whenever i want to, so i can still collect more points). Slytherin is beating Gryffindor by 30 points. i'm just on a harry potter kick, i noticed--it'll prolly pass, no worries. oh yeah,

on my butt, $ makin'
well, i'm here at work, been here since 2pm, here till 11pm. we ran out of work around 7pm. so i finished the harry potter book i was reading (order of the phoenix) and it was so good! it made me cry at the end, i felt so dumb, but it was so sad i couldn't help myself. no one saw though, no worries. "so i'll just post it on the internet for the whole WORLD to read!", no it's not as bad talking about it as it being witnessed first hand.

So how was your new years? i got sick sick as a dog that is sick. i didn't even drink, and i woke up at 4am and puked all my new years eve snacks up. i hate throwing up. ("me too!")

two jack russell terriors. we got them around Halloween (I was a lion, and Isaac was the Cat in the Hat) and they're all white, with brown marks on their faces, and a few small spots here and there. they're so sweet and rambunctious. their names are Bulma and Marren.
I had a good birthday, we saw the Incredibles at the drive-in. Married life is still great, lotsa fun. we work at convergys together now, and they even gave us the same schedule, so it's a lot more time together (and $ too)than when he painted and i stayed home. it's way too warm around here for Christmas. I kinda wish it would snow.

just had finals, only in Geology. it was really easy though. but i'm used to BYU finals and here at the community college it's a lot easier than that. i'm supposed to transfer this back to BYU, and then i'll start on internet classes from there. we're saving up all our money for a sound studio for Colby, and it's a lot cheaper to live here than in Provo, Utah. so we won't go up there till we have to.
