CORRECTION: April 1st was our engagement day aniversary thing. it was nice, we went to Johnny Carino's Country Italian. i know country ah-tal-yun sounds iffy in texas, but i don't think it's that kind of country.
we're painting our door stripey with pink and shiney white and blue. s'gonna be so cool. actually the coolest thing about it is that the more we jack around with it, the less rent we end up paying. $7 and hour for "working on the house". it's cool, because the rent's only $200 a month, and last month was the first month we paid rent since August. paying rent is for suckers. we were suckers last month. it's good though, because that means we have real work to be going to. i've been substitute teaching little shits lately, and Colbs has been working on building a porch. taxes coming up. here's hint--don't be self employed. it sounds cool, but if you want grants or anything that requires tax return info, you pay out the ass (that is if you're new at it, like us, and haven't been paying quarterly, and these people want like a third of what you've made ALL year...where does it all go?)
today we blew insulation. it blew. no pun int. it gets in your eye brows and eye lashes and hair and EVERYTHING you can think of. it was awesome.
