Now Playing: The Incredibles
PUPPIES!!!
two jack russell terriors. we got them around Halloween (I was a lion, and Isaac was the Cat in the Hat) and they're all white, with brown marks on their faces, and a few small spots here and there. they're so sweet and rambunctious. their names are Bulma and Marren.
I had a good birthday, we saw the Incredibles at the drive-in. Married life is still great, lotsa fun. we work at convergys together now, and they even gave us the same schedule, so it's a lot more time together (and $ too)than when he painted and i stayed home. it's way too warm around here for Christmas. I kinda wish it would snow.

just had finals, only in Geology. it was really easy though. but i'm used to BYU finals and here at the community college it's a lot easier than that. i'm supposed to transfer this back to BYU, and then i'll start on internet classes from there. we're saving up all our money for a sound studio for Colby, and it's a lot cheaper to live here than in Provo, Utah. so we won't go up there till we have to.

Abilene Painters

'where's abilene?' you don't care to ask? why, it's 3 hours east of good ol' levelland. we're painting his 2nd cousin never removed's house here, lotsa brick, but saufette, facia, and big tall gabels. i'm not going to look those words up. look them up yourself and make fun of me if you can do it without fainting. that poor spelling b kid, nobody even *tried* to catch him. last time i was in DC, i was on a band trip, staying in a hotel with tiffany casalanuova, amy shoulders, and anne-marie wiest, all wearing tank tops without bras and not wanting their nipples to show, so they taped toilet paper around them. haha--sorry guys. we went to a lot of the sites, not the smithsonian. dustin and me went to dupont circle--which is like gay neighborhood in DC.

looking for some new summer fashions to attract some cute boys? http://www.homestarrunner.com/tgs3.html

can't remember how to make a link.

p.s. it's the its's number three birthday THIS WEDNESDAY!!!!

he's working on his first novel.

CORRECTION: April 1st was our engagement day aniversary thing. it was nice, we went to Johnny Carino's Country Italian. i know country ah-tal-yun sounds iffy in texas, but i don't think it's that kind of country.

we're painting our door stripey with pink and shiney white and blue. s'gonna be so cool. actually the coolest thing about it is that the more we jack around with it, the less rent we end up paying. $7 and hour for "working on the house". it's cool, because the rent's only $200 a month, and last month was the first month we paid rent since August. paying rent is for suckers. we were suckers last month. it's good though, because that means we have real work to be going to. i've been substitute teaching little shits lately, and Colbs has been working on building a porch. taxes coming up. here's hint--don't be self employed. it sounds cool, but if you want grants or anything that requires tax return info, you pay out the ass (that is if you're new at it, like us, and haven't been paying quarterly, and these people want like a third of what you've made ALL year...where does it all go?)

today we blew insulation. it blew. no pun int. it gets in your eye brows and eye lashes and hair and EVERYTHING you can think of. it was awesome.

Coming Soon...

Things are good. really good. I hope this sticks. we've been reading scriptures *almost* every night, and a book colby got for his birthday from my mom. By the way, Colby had such a fun birthday! My dad brought anticuchos (peruvian shish-ka-bobs) and my mom brought strawberry cake. Sharon (his mom) surprised him with her show up, and also her new beau--who has kind of a nerdy cuteness to him. he seemed really nice though, and digs the beatles, so he can't be all bad, eh?

Myles and Raoma showed up too, and brought a cool cactus with red flowers, or maybe that was from Ben, our new friend--they all came in the same car, so it's hard to tell. Ike came too, and we broke a pin~ata shaped cactus. All was good times and smiles at the Reid house. I made a brownie cake with Aquateen hunger force on it. OH yeah, and Ty and Randy K came too. they just bought a bagel shop in lubbock.

I've been scrapbooking a little bit, with time and clean space in our little casita. i'm trying to slowly accumulate enough scrapbooking stuff to be able to do it alone, instead of driving somewhere else to use my mom's or rachel's stuff.

just now getting over the flu, or something like it. it lasted about 4 or 5 days. i'm still pretty tired and have sinus headaches a little, but it's a good life compared to the last couple of days. This past weekend we went to see the Miller Boys (Colt and Clint) and Danny and Jeff. We went to the arboritum and played fox tail (a little rubber ball you fling up into the air by a cloth tail attached to it...so fun). and then went back to their house and had dollar pizzas for dinner, and watched Royal Tenenbaums and Frequency. 2 movies in one night. it wasn't easy. Frequency was really good though. RT got to me a little. actually, i wish i hadn't watched it at all. between the nakedness and suicides, it just didn't give me a good feeling by the time it was over, even thought it ended "happy". it was funny, i'll give it that, that it had it's moments.

I've been talking to briana. breakthrough. she called me sometime last week. we talked a couple of times since. it's been pretty good. nice, i mean, to not be angry and confused over the whole ordeal, like i have been for about a year and a half...yeah, it's not bad.
