Russia 

Russia, the largest country of the world, is full of educational opportunities. Especially the technical education of Russia is recognized all over the world. The total area of the country is 17,075,200. Sq. km. It has a Population of 146 million with per capita GDP of US$1880. Ruble (*RUR) is the local currency and US$1 = Ruble29 (approx.). Moscow is the capital city. Russian is the official language, although a variety of local languages (similar to Russian) are also spoken throughout the country.

Courses Offered: Since the technical education of Russia is of high standard, the most popular courses of the country are technical i.e. Engineering and medical, at bach­elor and master levels in different faculties. Medium of instruction is Russian for most of the courses and therefore, there is also a one-year foundation course which international students have to do prior to their regular studies.

Average Fees: From US$1500 to US$3500 per year, on average, depending upon the course.

Living: Per month living (Accommodation & Food) can cost you about US$100, on average.

Admission Requirements: Intermediate for admission into a bache­lor degree and a 4-year bachelor degree or a master degree for admission into a master degree. In certain cases, matriculate students can also be considered for admission in foundation courses. No English proficiency is required.

Intake:There is only one intake in September each year. Students have to start the admission process, at least 4 months before the course starts.

Visa: The visa is issued by the Russian Embassy in Pakistan and you need to show them certain documents to get the visa.
