London - Cairo February 20th, 1999	This was a return flight, booked with Trailfinders, from London Heathrow. It went via Athens on Olympic Airways, and cost £220.
Cairo - Aswan February 22nd	I went on the overnight train, which departs at 10PM and takes 14 hours. With a student card, first class was £E43 and second class £E28. Theres little difference, I travelled 1st, but only because there were no other seats available.
Aswan - Luxor February 25th-27th	My felucca trip took me from Aswan to Edfu, and from there I got a service taxi, which required a police escort and cost £E8.
Luxor - Fayoum March 1st	I got the overnight train again, which as a student in second class cost £E24 (10 hours). I then got a bus from Cairo (Aboud bus station) to Fayoum City, which was £E4.
Fayoum - Cairo March 3rd	This was another bus ride, £E4 again.
Cairo - London March 6th	The return leg of my flight.
