William K Kean was born in Pools Island, Newfoundland on the 7th of March 1890. He died in Halifax, Nova Scotia on the 27th of January 1965. He is the son of Frederick Thomas Kean and Lucy N Knee. He married Edith Emma Sparks on the 13th of July 1915 in Halifax, Nova Scotia. She was born on the 12th of April 1894 in England and died on the 17th of October 1987 in Halifax, Nova Scotia. She is the daughter of William Sparks and Emma (nee unknown) Sparks.
