Marching in WWII gear as part of a Rememberance Day Parade is a wondeful thing. Yes it may be cold and possibly snowing but one must remember why we do it, we do it for the vets. Since vets from WWII are still with us is it very fitting. I parade with the 1 Cdn Para's out of Halifax. This group has done two parades in Charlottetown in 2000 and 2001. As a member of the Canadian armed forces i am proud to have been part of 16 Rememberance day parades. |
