The most authentic Re-enactment is the seize of Louisbourg. It was first done in 1995 with tall ships included. It was done again in 1999. The town offers an excellent background and all the re-enactors make it a very visual event. They live, march, and fight like they did in 1745. These are British, French, colonials and natives. There in dancing, music and trade for times between the battles. Family is very much a part of this event. People come from all over the world and it is very well advertised. This is a must if you like the 7 Years War era.
