Brother From the Same Planet
Original airdate: (2-4-93)

Homerc forgets to pick up Bart after soccer practice. Wishing he had a better father, Bart responds to the television commercial for Bigger Brothers, an organization that offers companions to boys without positive role models. Bart passes himself off as an unwanted son and, without telling Homer, is assigned a Bigger Brother named Tom. The two hit it off, enjoying all the fun things Homer would never do.

Marge finds out that Lisa has been calling a 900 number to talk to Corey, Lisa's favorite teen heartthrob. Lisa promises to never call again, but can't stop. She decides to go cold-turkey and sets midnight as the goal. Counting the minutes and fighting temptation, Lisa finally loses the battle and grabs the phone. When Marge enters the kitchen, she finds Lisa asleep with the phone to her ear. Picking up the phone to listen, she hears the computer voice of the "time" operator and smiles.

When Homer finds out that Bart has a Bigger Brother, he decides to get even. Signing himself up, he becomes a Bigger Brother to a little boy named Pepi. Together, they do all the things Homer wants to do. At the aquarium, Bart and Tom run into Homer and Pepi. Believing Homer is a bad father, Tom beats him up. Bart tells Homer he never meant for him to get hurt and they renew their father-son bond. Tom becomes Pepi's Bigger Brother.
