Being a communication major, I am required to do my share of writing. Capstone courses often require large essays on communication topics that are relevant to our lives. It is also essential for college students to have hands-on experience when they enter the job market. Communication is a practical field, and students need to be able to practice what they have learned.
Part of my practical experience has come from writing for the Spectrum, NDSU's biweekly student-ran newspaper, for the past two years. I have focused my attention on Arts & Entertainment stories, but I have experience in writing features and news stories as well. I have posted several of my recent articles below. This page will also feature essays that I have written in the near future.
