Daniel Tosh brings energetic comedy to Memorial Union

"Look at the Bible and you look at Adam and Eve in the Garden of Eden, we all know who sinned first... Ladies, do you have to eat everything?"
This is just one of the many jokes in the arsenal of comedian Daniel Tosh. While the female audience may question Tosh's gender humor, everyone quickly realizes that Tosh is an equal-opportunity offender. His comedic style has been described as energetic, hilarious and clean.
Tosh was born and raised in Germany by a preacher. He and his family later moved to Florida, where Tosh attended the University of Central Florida. Despite obtaining a degree in finance and marketing, he allowed his love for making people laugh to become his profession. Tosh became extremely popular at every club he performed at, and made his comedy festival debut in Chicago in 1998.
Tosh has received national exposure on Comedy Central's "Premium Blend," and he is currently the host of a "man-on-the-beach" interview and sketch show produced by the USA Network entitled "10's." Taped in Miami, "10's" is becoming so popular that producers want to expand the show into other markets.
He will be performing at 7:30 p.m. Thursday in the Cul-De-Sac Lounge of the Memorial Union. Admission is free.
