My campus at North Dakota State University is a member of NACA. As a member of Campus Attractions, I have been able to attend many regional and national NACA conferences and represent NDSU on a higher level. I had the privilege of serving on the regional leadership team, along with many other dedicated and wonderful students and staff members. As the student representative for the Upper Midwest Region in 2001, I helped raise money for the National Foundation, served as a liason between students and the national office, and helped put on the 2001 UMR Conference. I have been involved in NACA in many other capacities, and I hope to continue that involvement after I graduate.
Some of the best times I've had in Campus Attractions, and actually in my life, have come from attending the UMR regional conferences, as well as the national conference. Below is a list of my NACA leadership experiences, followed by photo galleries from UMR Regionals and the National Conference.
NACA links the higher education and entertainment communities in a business and learning partnership, creating educational and business opportunities for student and professional members. The letters stand for National Association of Campus Activities. NACA is responsible for allowing student programmers and student activities professionals to bring in a wide variety of entertaining and educational programs for the benefit of the students on a college campus.
