I has been stated that the 1980's color restoration release in North America was a proverbial flop.  However, apparently no one ever talked to it's young fans.   Where I am living, when you mention Astroboy to anyone between the ages of 15 and 22, you can almost be guaranteed to get a gasp and some ecstatic remark that's nothing but praise.  The only thing is, no one has tapes.  For some strange reason (and I've tried to search) no one in North America taped "Astroboy"!  Thus the great North American Episode Search is on.  If anyone taped Astroboy from the television (preferably Canadian because then I know that I'm getting what I remember) and has kept episodes and is willing to make a copy, PLEASE, send me an e-mail.
