Night 27 and the group returns to camp.  They are all dismayed by Janu's de-
parture.  Her quitting was not part of their game plan.  Stephenie feels isolated.
She knows she was the intended victim.  Tom tries to make her feel welcome,
but she isn't buying.  Gregg is very upset that Steph survived another Tribal
Council.

Day 28 and Stephenie approaches Katie about the original alliamce.  But Katie
offers no firm answers.  Steph then goes to Tom, who tries to reassure her,
but also lets Steph know that he now feels very threatened.  He thinks he will
go in the next 3 TCs.  Tom has a talk with all of Koror, reminding them that it
was his strength and leadership in challenges that got them where they are.
He hopes that the rest will not hold his actions against him, but all he really
does is digs himself into a deeper hole.  Later, Stephenie talks with Katie and
Jennifer about forming a Female Alliance and booting the men off, with Tom
as their Number One target.

Day 29 and it's Reward Challenge time.  Our old friend, the Food Auction.
Each contestant gets $500 US to keep or use for bidding on morsels with.
Jenn wins the first item for $200, which turns out to be a hot fudge sundae.
Steph and Caryn outbid Ian and Gregg with $260.  Before Jeff reveals what
they won, he plays Monty Hall and offers another unknown plate.  The girls
use their sense of smell and take the new mystery plate.  They turned down
a plate of cheese and crackers for a cheese burger, fries, and cola.  Ian then
gets into a bidding war with Katie and Jenn, and winds up getting Gregg to
offer an extra $20 for a bite.  With that, Ian wins for $300.  Jeff offers another
selection, which Ian rightfully turns down, as it is a jar of live crabs.  The
real prize is a spaghetti dinner with garlic bread.  Jeff remarks to Ian about
how bad he smells.  Ian then wins a bottle of ice cold beer for $40.  Jeff then
pulls out letters from home.  Tom wins with $220.  Jeff then offers everyone
a chance to buy their letters for the same amount.  They all do, except for Ian,
who had spent too much.  Thus ends the challenge.

Everyone returns to camp and reads there letters.  Stephenie is so very happy
to have gotten notes from all her family and boyfriend.  Ian, who was not able
to buy his letters, does something far more important…, BATHE!!!  He takes
soap and sponge and heads for the beach.  Gregg assists him in scrubbing his
back.   The gals think this is funny, as anyone one of them would've been hap-
py to help.  Tom doesn't want to help.  When Ian asked Tom if there was any
dirt on the back of his neck, Tom only gave direction, but passed on physical
contact.  Smart move, Tom!

Day 29 and Tom is getting worried.  He decides to chat up Caryn about stra-
tegy.  He promises to cover her back as long as possible.  Caryn knows she's
not one of the Fab Five.  But she seems agreeable to help boot Stephenie.
Immunity Challenge time, and today's event is Break the Tiles.  Coconuts are
tossed from a raised platform to a grid tiles, five for each player.  First to have
all five broken (even if done so by another) wins.  Round One has Caryn get-
ting two broken, with Ian, Gregg and Katie at one each.  Round Two sees Ian
scoring two more, Tom on the board with Two, Katie her second, and Jenn
with one.  Round Four and Ian gets his fourth, Tom and Jenn both get their
third, and Steph scores one.  Round Four has Katie getting her third, Gregg
and Steph getting their second, and Ian winning!

Day 30 and it's serious strategy time.  Katie talks with Caryn about forming an
all-girl alliance and booting Tom off.  Caryn then runs to Tom and spills the
beans.  Tom tells Ian what is going on.  Ian then tells Katie what Caryn told
Tom.  LOL!!!  Kate tells Ian that NOW is the time to boot Tom!  Gregg is still
going on about booting Stephenie.  He sees her as both a threat and a disrupt-
ing element in the tribe.  For her part, Steph is well aware how vulnerable she
is at this moment.

At Tribal Council, Ian says that the tribe is not that paranoid, but is mostly a
tight group.  Steph talks about the all the stress she is under and how active
the back-stabbing is.  Caryn says she wouldn't be surprised if she were voted
off tonight.  Tom has no regrets about playing so hard and strong.  It's time to
vote.  Stephenie votes to boot Caryn, the rest gang up and boot Steph.  The
last of Ulong is now gone.   After She takes her walk of shame, Jeff cautions
the rest of Koror that they are no longer one big happy family.

SPOILERS:  Paranoia sets in as Tom knows he is the Number One target now.
Ian seems to be getting annoyed with Katie's manipulations.
