Hey Everyone!

I'm so sorry we haven't updated in a while. We had a really bad day today. Our guide left us at the airport at 7:00 am., for an 8:00 flight on China Southern.

Waiting for our China Southern Flight to Guangzhou

We were all waiting for the boarding call, when they said our plane was having mechanical problems. They said there would be a delay. Then they said we would leave at 12:20 pm., and then they said nothing at all! We really had no idea what was going on. I met a lady who was a Christian from Indonesia and spoke Chinese. She found out how to change over to another airline and actually was refunded some money. She helped us do the same. Isn't God good? We have brothers and sisters in the Lord all over the world! Our new flight left at 6:00 pm. We spent 11 hours in the Nanning Airport!

Are We There Yet?

We had a lot of Pringles and cokes. We were left there with a precious couple from Colorado and Cheryl and Shawna from Michigan. We had great company, but it was exhausting to stay there that long. We were also missing out on shopping in Guangzhou!!!!

Abbi really showed her little personality at the airport.

A Kiss for my Daughter and One for her Daddy!

She had everyone staring at her and laughing. She would go up to people, cock her head to the side and yell something, and then smile. She made lots of new friends.

I Tell You, This Wait Never Ends!

Hmmm! What Should I Do Next?

She got a little fussy when we got on the plane, but I think it was because she could tell we were upset. As we started to board, Cheryl, her baby, Shawna, Brian, Abbi and I were the only ones they wouldn't let on the plane. All our other friends, including the lady who spoke Chinese were on the plane. We got a little frantic. They finally sent someone back to the ticket counter and got our friend off the plane to ask her questions. When we got on people were sitting in our seats....that was the problem! After we were in the air, she was fine and fussed no more!

We made it to Guangzhou at about 8:00 and met our guide, Kelli. The beds at the White Swan, although a little hard, felt pretty good! I'm glad it's all over and hope the rest of the trip goes smoothly.

Please continue to pray for us, we are ready to come home and see everyone.

Drew....we miss you and will see you very soon!

Love,
Brian, Vicki and Abbi
