Hello Everyone!

We had a great day today. It started out a little rocky....Abbi woke up loudly and taking a bath is not her favorite thing. She took her bottle very easily and ate table food at breakfast. She started rally worming up at breakfast. She got down and went by just about every table in the restaurant. She is quite a little flirt.

She is officially ours today. We have completed the adoption paperwork at the Civil Affairs office. We had our picture taken with the Orphanage Director and when he tried to hold Abbi for the photo, she pushed him away. I think she knows that I am her Momma. He surprised us with gifts from Guiping City. Our most favorite is a stack of pictures of her first 15 months and Guiping.

While waiting for our turn at the notary office, a girl traveling in our group started tickling her feet and she loved it. She was smiling and laughing out loud. She let Brian hold her for a few minutes while they were playing.

While traveling to the many government offices, she is constantly looking out the window. She wants to make sure that she does not miss a thing. On the way back to the hotel she fell asleep rubbing the hem of her dress on her lips. She makes the cutest pucker when she does this. Every time she starts doing it we know she is sleepy. She loves being pushed in the stroller to the point that she does not want to get out. She will only allow me to push her, though, but she is worming up to Brian more and more each day.

We walked her around the hotel compound and tired her out before bedtime. It was much, much easier getting her to go to sleep tonight. All we had to do was give her a bottle, rubbed her back and sang her a lullaby. She is so precious. We are very blessed to have the two best children in the world.

We went to a department store today and bought a few outfits, because some of the 9-12 month sleepers are too short for her and she needed something to sleep in. We got her the cutest pink shoes. When I brought them over to her to see if they fit, she stuck her foot out and wanted them on. Brian said that "she was just like her Mama!"

Mama, Bahbah loves you so much. We can not wait to get home so that you can play with your new sister. I know you will have a great time. We know you will be a great big brother protecting your sister.

Daddy said to hit the ball hard and play good for him. We are going shopping tomorrow and will look for somthing for you. Daddy picked out a scroll that you wanted and we will get it if we do not find something better.
