During the past 2 weeks you have studied about the extent to which a beautiful place like the Galapagos can be led to the brink of ruin by the uncontrollable forces of nature and the controllable actions of human beings.Think of all that you have learned and how it has affected your thinking towards:

• keeping your own surroundings clean and healthy,
• about not indulging in wasteful use of the resources you have been lucky to inherit,
• about what you can do to conserve these resources so that our future generations can enjoy them.
