  1. Marguerite Vicknair, born ca. 1800, died May 11,1806 (SJB).
  2. Marie Vicknair, born September 12,1801 (SJB), married January 29,1822 (SJB), to Norbert Rodrigue, born March 22,1800 (SJB), son of Jean Charles Rodrigue and Pelagie Elfer. Norbert died October 8,1837 (SJB), Marie died November 4,1853 (SJB). Six children were born to this couple.
  3. Celeste Vicknair, born January 12,1804 (SJB), married February 8,1820 (SJB), to Antoine Dupuy, born August 20,1796 (SJB), son of Antoine Dupuy and Francoise Rodrigue. Antoine died July 19,1832 (SJB). They were the parents of six children.
  4. Jean Jacques Vicknair, born February 2,1806 (SJB), married October 2,1827 (SJB), to Rosalie Arthemise Madere, born December 12, 1809 (SJB), daughter of Andre Madere and Marie Genevieve Vicknair. Rosalie Artemise died February 21,1833 (SJB), Jean Jacques died October 9,1837 (SJB). Three children were born of this union.
  5. Marie Azeline Vicknair, born September 14,1808 (SJB), married Horther Dupuy, born May 7,1800 (SJB), son of Antoine Dupuy and Francoise Rodrigue. Marie Azeline died November 15,1853 (SJB). Horther and many of this couple's seventeen children moved to the French Settlement area of Livingston Parish, and he died there ca. February 4,1897.
  6. Emeranthe Vicknair, born October 31,1810 (SJB), married May 9,1826 (SJB), to Philippe Alexander, born December 14,1803 (SJB), son of Thomas Alexander and Marguerite Vicknair. Philippe died May 18,1881 (SP), Emeranthe died March 2,1884, and they were the parents of fourteen children.
  7. Honore Justin Vicknair, born December 22,1812 (SJB), died September 15,1815 (SJB).
  8. Louis Vicknair, born December 9,1814 SJB), died July 31,1815 (SJB).
  9. Melanie Vicknair, born December 9,1816 (SJB), married February 1,1831 (SJB), to Louis Joachim Perilloux, born April 14, 1811 (SJB), son of Louis Perilloux and Marie Madelaine Perilloux. Louis Joachim died October 5,1853 (SJB), Melanie never remarried, and she died January 10,1898 (SJB). Ten children were born to this couple.
  10. Eugene Vicknair, born November 29,1820 (SJB), married January 9,1840 (SJB), to Genevieve Perilloux, born January 23,1823 (SJB), daughter of Louis Perilloux and Marie Madelaine Perilloux. Eugene died April 29,1847, Genevieve died October 10,1853 (SJB), and two sons were born to them.
  11. Ulger Vicknair, born December 23,1823 (SJB), married February 5,1842 (SJB), to Marie Irma Ory, born June 22,1823 (SJB), daughter of Pierre Ory and Irene Froisy. Marie Irma died October 21,1865 (SP), and Ulger remarried on January 30, 1867 (SP), to Clara Ory, born April 16,1819 (SJB), the older sister of Marie Irma. Ulger was the father of eleven children by his first marriage, and there was no issue from his second marriage.

Children of Jean Jacques Vicknair and Emeranthe Rodrigue (2nd marriage):

  1. Jean Baptist Octave Vicknair, born January 31,1831 (SJB), married Celestine Eliska Rodrigue, born July 7,1831 (ASM), daughter of Edouard Rodrigue and Anastasia Lagemann. Jean Baptist Octave died September 7,1853 (SJB), only two weeks before the birth of his only child. Celestine Eliska never remarried, and she died December 26,1912 (ASM).
  2. Marie Ezulmee Vicknair (Twin), born May 15,1833 (SJB), married December 29,1845 (SJB), to Marie-Francois Gustave Furrat, born April 17,1814, in Pepieux, France, son of Jean Pierre Furrat-Dubois and Jeanne Francoise Louise Aribaud. Marie-Francois Gustave died May 23,1876, his widow never remarried, and she died in Baton Rouge, LA on May 6,1912. Eight children were born to them.
  3. Joseph Vicknair (Twin), born May 15,1833 (SJB), married October 13,1855 (SMI), to Honorine Philomene Bourgeois, born January 26,1840 (SMI), daughter of Celestin Bourgeois and Gertrude Coussot. One daughter was born to this couple.

Children of Pierre Robeau and Anasthasie Vicknair (1st marriage):

  1. Jean Pierre Robeau, born August 12,1809 (SJB). His posterity is unknown.
  2. Pierre Robeau, born December 9,1810 (SJB), married July 9, 1832 (SJB), to Pauline Amelie Tregre, born April 15,1812 (SJB), daughter of Andre Tregre and Marie Madelaine Heltz. Pierre died June 10. 1887 (SP), and Pauline Amelie died July 15,1901. Twelve chidren were born of this union.
  3. Carmelite Robeau, born February 27,1812 (SJB), married Louis Hugh Ketine (Keating), son of Louis Ketine and Anne Augnot, and the former husband of Marie Magdelaine Madere. Louis Hugh died January 19,1853 (SJB). Seven children were born to this couple.
  4. Anasthasie Robeau, born April 9,1814 (SJB), married June 3, 1830 (SJB), to Pascal Alexander, born April 21,1810 (SJB), son of Thomas Alexander and Marguerite Vicknair. Pascal died September 12,1853 (SJB). Twelve children were born of this union.

Children of George Chauff and Anasthasie Vicknair (2nd marriage):
  1. Alexandre Chauff (Twin), born February 28,1818 (SJB), married May 28,1845 (SJB), to Adele Rodrigue, born September 28,1828 (SJB), daughter of Norbert Rodrigue and Marie Vicknair. Adele died July 28, 1859 (SJB), and Alexandre remarried on May 18,1867, to Marie Zulma Troxclair, born ca 1827, daughter of Jacques Troxclair and Louisa Weber, and the widow of Antoine Troxclair. Marie Zulma died February 25,1885 (SP), Alexandre died December 4,1885 (SP). Alexandre was the father of four children by each of his two marriages.
  2. George Chauff (Twin), born February 28,1818 (SJB), married May 24,1842 (SJB), to Claire Carmelite Millet, born April 11,1825 (SJB), daughter of Sylvain Millet and Euphrosine Haydel. George died September 27,1853 (SJB), and was the father of five children.
  3. Theodule Chauff, born November 10,1819 (SJB), married June 9,1840 (SJB), to Clara Cambre, born June 8,1824 (SJB), daughter of Mathias Cambre and Charlotte Perilloux. Theodule died September 17,1890 (SP), and Clara died March 6,1908 (SP). Nine children were born to them.
  4. Marie Adelaide Chauff, born February 22,1821 (SJB), died September 12,1822 (SJB).
  5. Genevieve Chauff, born September 20,1822 (SJB), married July 26,1845 (SJB), to Guilliame Eyma, native of Bloye, France, son of Jacques Eyma and Elizabeth Olivere. Genevieve died August 22,1908 (SP). Four children were born to this couple.
  6. Cyprien Chauff, born September 16,1825 (SJB), married May 1, 1847 (SJB), to Celestine Perilloux, born June 17.1830 (SJB), daughter of Marcellin Perilloux and Delphine Vicknair. Celestine died November 11,1847 (SJB), and Cyprien remarried on May 10,1852 (SJB), to Virginie Perilloux, born January 22,1833 (SJB), daughter of George Perilloux and Marie Emelina Montz. Cyprien died January 14,1891 (SP), and Virginie died December 20,1919 (SP). Eight children were born of this marriage.
Children of Honore Michel (Justin) Vicknair & Adelaide Borne:
  1. Adelaide Vicknair, born September 9,1809 (SJB), died July 6,1811 (SJB).
  2. Josephine Vicknair, born May 18,1811 (SJB), married August 25,1827 (SJB), to Auguste Madere, born December 20,1804 (SJB), son of August Madere and Marianne Bredy. Josephine died during childbirth on September 1,1828 (SJB). Auguste remarried to Seraphine Alexander. Josephine was the mother of one daughter.
  3. Marie Adeleine (Adele) Vicknair, born February 22,1813 (SJB), married May 1,1832 (SJB), to Valery Vicknair, born January 4,1811 (SJB), son of Antoine Vicknair and Dorothee Scholastique Cuvillier. Adele died in Lafourche Parish in 1877, Valery died there on February 27,1883. They were the parents of twelve children.
  4. Marie Justine Vicknair, born October 2,1815 (SJB), never married, died in New Orleans, LA August 18,1860, and buried with her father in St. Vincent de Paul Cemetery No. 1.
  5. Leocadie Vicknair, born December 9,1817 (SJB), married Francois Maciase. Leocadie died in New Orleans, LA November 5,1852. At least one daughter was born to this couple.
  6. Marie Aglaide Vicknair, born October 22,1820 (SJB), died July 27,1824 (SJB).
  7. Jean Baptist Vicknair, born July 29,1822 (SJB), died October 29,1823 (SJB).
  8. Etienne Justin Vicknair, born August 13,1825 (SJB), married October 9,1854, in Lafourche Parish, to Marie Eve Lasseigne, born July 7,1837 (SJT), daughter of Pierre Evariste Lasseigne and Marie Ana Vicknair. Etienne Justin died in Thibodaux, LA March 16,1885, and Marie Eve died there on September 30,1899.
  9. Marie Eliza Vicknair, born February 16,1828 (SJB), married Leonard Lasseigne, born September 5,1806 (SJB), son of Andre Lasseigne and Marie Anne Vicknair. Leonard died in Lafourche Parish on January 27,1879, and Marie Eliza died there on October 5,1906. Twelve children were born to this couple.
  10. Marie Adelaide Vicknair, born April 22,1831 (SJB), her posterity is unknown.

Children of Jean Jacques Borne & Marie Magdelaine Vicknair

  1. Marie Magdelaine Borne, born October 28,1790 (SJB), married October 28,1805 (SJB), to Andre Kerne, born ca. 1784, son of George Kerne and Marie Eve Jacob. Following Andre's death, Marie Magdelaine remarried on October 14,1839, in Lafourche Parish to Charles Gautreaux, son of Joseph Gautreaux and Anne Pitre. Marie Magdelaine was the mother of twelve children by her first marriage.
  2. Jean Jacques Borne, born March 13,1793 (SJB), married May 4,1812 (SJB), to Marie Magdelaine Carentin, born June 6,1797 (SJB), daughter of Michel Carentin and Marie Magdalena Chovin. Jean Jacques died in Lafourche Parish on April 19,1826, and his widow remarried on August 17,1829, to Marin Boudreaux. Jean Jacques was the father of seven children.
  3. Nicolas Borne, born August 9,1795 (SJB), his posterity is unknown.
  4. Antoine Borne, born October 7,1797 (SJB), married November 3,1818 (SJB), to Rosalie Perret, born ca, 1791, daughter of Alphonse Perret and Rosalie Genevieve St. Amant, and the widow of Jean Folse. Antoine died in Lafourche Parish on January 19,1828 (SJT), Rosalie died in Thibodaux, LA on May 18, 1845. At least three children were born to this couple.
  5. Matthias Borne, born April 5,1803 (SJB), married August 14,1821 (SJB), to Eugenie Folse, born January 19,1806 (SJB), daughter of Jean Folse and Rosalie Perret (Same Rosalie Perret listed above). Nine children were born to this couple.
  6. Rosalie Borne, born September 10,1805 (SJB), married April 14,1821 (SJB), to Andre Madere, born September 23,1804 (SJB), son of Andre Madere and Marie Genevieve Vicknair. Andre died July 12,1846 (SJB), Rosalie died October 16,1853 (SJB). Eleven children were born to this couple.
  7. Marie Borne, born August 15,1808 (SJB), died July 17,1815 (SJB).
  8. Marie Elizabeth (Emilie) Borne, born August 14,1811 (SJB), married February 2, 1829 (SJB), to Valere Badeaux, born Jan. 15, 1806 (SJB), son of Antoine Badeaux and Ursule Offman/Ocmand. Elizabeth (Eliza) died Apr. 30,1890, in Larose, LA. At least nine children were born to them.
  9. Marie Judith Borne, born March 23,1814, married first to Antoine Bossier, second on March 19,1857 (SPH), to Pierre William White.

Children of Nicolas Vicknair & Marie Celeste Cuvillier

  1. Marie Azeline Vicknair, born November 16,1802 (SJB), married October 13,1817 (SJB), to Pierre Jacob, born December 7,1796 (SJB), son of Jean Adam Jacob and Marianne Clement. Pierre died September 13,1853 (SJB), and Marie Azeline died February 19,1877 (SP). Eleven children were born to this couple.
  2. Marie Celeste Vicknair, born May 15,1805 (SJB), married October 8,1825 (SJB), to Jean Pierre Yentzen, born September 10,1805 (SJB), son of Henry Jentzen and Marie Charlotte Collette. Marie Celeste died March 17,1887 (ASC), and was the mother of three sons.
  3. Jean Nicholas Vicknair, born April 6, 1808 (SJB), married October 31,1829 (SJB), to his first cousin, Marie Eve Vicknair, born September 22,1814 (SJB), daughter of Jean Baptist Vicknair and Charlotte Leche. Marie Eve died July 30,1856 (SJB), and was the mother of twelve children. Jean Nicholas moved to Livingston Parish with many of his family members.
  4. Marguerite Seraphine Vicknair, born January 26,1810 (SJB), married May 17,1828 (SJB), to Pierre Vicknair, born October 13,1805 (SJB), son of Antoine Vicknair and Marguerite Agathe Desroche. Pierre died May 9, 1868 (SP), Marguerite died September 6,1883 (SP), and they were the parents of nine children.
  5. Marie Josephine Vicknair, born August 6,1812 (SJB), married November 4,1828 (SJB), to , born March 31,1806 (SJB), son of and Marianne Clement. Marie Josephine died July 24,1839 (SJB), Drauzin remarried to Marie Celeste Duhe, and he died September 224,1853 (SJB). Marie Josephine was the mother of four children.
  6. Marie Melazie Vicknair, born August 23,1815 (SJB), married February 1,1834 (SJB), to Michel Lavergne, born July 6,1810 (SJB), son of Michel Lavergne and Marie Perilloux. Marie Melazie died October 7,1853 (SJB), and was the mother of three sons.
  7. Marie Euphalie Vicknair, born August 25,1817 (SJB), married July 22,1837 (SJB), to Leon Vicknair, born November 15,1813 (SJB), son of Laurent Vicknair and Magdealine Celeste Vicknair. Marie Euphalie died October 9,1899 (SP), and was the mother of eleven children.
  8. Jean Henry Vicknair, born December 12,1819 (SJB), married May 17,1828 (SJB), to Marie Magdelaine Madere, born January 10,1826 (SJB), daughter of William Louis Madere and Marie Mona Wemprenne. Jean Henry died July 4,1894 (SP), Marie Magdelaine died March 11,1904 (SP), and they were the parents of thirteen children.
  9. Marie Adele Vicknair, born January 30,1824 (SJB), married November 30,1847 (SJB), to Antoine Caillet, native of France, son of Francois Caillet and Marguerite Mueriot. After the death of Antoine, Marie Adele married Edward Vicknair, born October 9,1834 (SJB), son of Jean Baptist Vicknair and Catherine Desiree Heltz. Marie Adele died February 2,1904 (SP), and Edward died December 3,1924 (SP). Marie Adele was the mother of a son and daughter by her first marriage, and one son by her second marriage.

Children of Thomas Alexander & Marguerite Vicknair:

  1. Marie Marguerite Alexander, born February 14,1797 (SJB), married May 18,1816 (SJB), to Charles Triche, born August 30,1793 (SJB), son of Charles Andre Triche and Marie Lasseigne. Marie Marguerite died December 9,1867 (ASM), and Charles died in Paincourtville, LA, on June 12,1886. Eight children were born to this couple.
  2. Marie Thomas (Judit) Alexander, born January 9,1800 (SJB), married 1st on June 4,1816 (SJB), to Louis Foltz, born May 13,1798 (SJB), son of Louis Foltz and Marie Rose Rouselle. After Louis's death, Judit remarried on April 29,1824 (ASM), to Elie Blanchard, born August 5,1800 (ASM), son of Pierre Blanchard and Marguerite Aucoin. Elie died November 4,1830 (ASM), and Judit died August 24,1869 (ASM). Judit was the mother of three children by her first marriage, and four by her second marriage.
  3. Thomas Alexander, born October 7,1801 (SJB), married August 8,1818 (SJB), to Anne Barbara Carantin, born February 20,1803 (SJB), daughter of Michel Carantin and Marie Magdelaine Charleville. Three children were born of this union.
  4. Philip Alexander, born December 14,1803 (SJB), married May 9,1826 (SJB), to Emeranthe Vicknair, born October 31,1810 (SJB), daughter of Jean Jacques Vicknair and Marguerite Clement. Philip died May 18,1881 (SP), and Emeranthe died March 2,1884 (SP). They were the parents of fourteen children.
  5. Marie Magdelaine Alexander. born October 12,1805 (SJB), married February 3,1823 (ASM), to Pierre Bertin Roussel, born ca. 1786, son of Pierre Joseph Roussel and Barbe Jacob. Pierre Bertin died in Terrebonne Parish on January 17,1850. They were the parents of nine children.
  6. Charles Alexander, born July 17,1807 (SJB), died June 12,1812 (SJB).
  7. Pascal Alexander, born April 21,1810 (SJB), married June 3.1830 (SJB), to Anasthasie Robeau, born April 9,1814 (SJB), daughter of Pierre Robeau and Anasthasie Vicknair. Pascal died September 12,1853 (SJB). Twelve children were born to this couple.
  8. Marie Seraphine Alexander, born April 1,1812 (SJB), married 1st on April 25,1829, in Lafourche Parish, to Sylvin Hymel, born June 29,1806 (SJB), son of Francois Hymel and Marguerite Elfer. Sylvin died November 1,1833 (SJT), and Marie Seraphine remarried on March 19,1835 (SJB), to Auguste Madere, born December 20,1804 (SJB), son of Auguste Madere and Marianne Bredy, and the widower of Josephine Vicknair. Auguste died November 14,1862 (SJB), and Marie Seraphine died in New Orleans, LA on May 21,1890. Marie Seraphine was the mother of three children by her first marriage, and eight by her second marriage.
