Male led 50-39 in the third quarter and withstood surges by Frederick Douglass to earn a 62-59 victory. There were nine lead changes and seven ties in this game. Male shot 51.9% from the field including four of 13 from the three point line. The Bulldogs connected on four of 12 free throws, pulled down 34 rebounds, and scored five points off eight Frederick Douglass turnovers. Frederick Douglass shot 34.9% from the field including four of 17 from beyond the arc. The Broncos connected on 11 of 21 free throws, pulled down 39 rebounds, and scored eight points off 11 Male turnovers.

East Jessamine coach Trevor Frith countered with 5-9 Jr. Maddy Arnold, 5-7 Sr. Rickayla Hubbard, 6-0 Sr. Kaitlynn Napier, 5-4 Sr. Kyla Hunt, and 5-5 Sr. Sloan Evans.

East Jessamine avenged an earlier loss to Madison Central by defeating the Lady Indians by the score of 61-51. East Jessamine shot 39.7% from the field including six of 19 from the three point line. The Lady Jaguars connected on five of 13 free throws, pulled down 49 rebounds, and scored 15 points off 11 Madison Central turnovers. Madison Central shot 32.8% from the field including five of 24 from beyond the arc. The Lady Indians connected on eight of 15 free throws, pulled down 36 rebounds, and scored seven points off 12 East Jessamine turnovers.

Kyla Hunt led East Jessamine with 20 points including three three point baskets, four rebounds, and two assists. Kaitlynn Napier added 12 points, 11 rebounds, and three assists. Evangel Christian defeated Lexington Christian Academy by the score of 88-83 in an overtime thriller. There were 10 lead changes and six ties in this game. The score was tied 76-76 at the end of regulation. Evangel Christian shot 58.2% from the field including nine of 22 from the three point line.
