Campbell County vs. Highlands

Highland had too many offensive weapons tonight and defeated an injury plagued Campbell County squad by the score of 55-13. Highland recorded 28 first downs and 559 yards of total offense. The Bluebirds were penalized nine times for 110 yards. Campbell County recorded 12 first downs and 264 yards of total offense. The Camels were penalized once for 10 yards, lost two fumbles, and had a pass intercepted.

Colt Kremer led Highland’s ground game with 59 yards and a touchdown on two carries. Rio Litmer carried the ball six times for 52 yards and a touchdown. Bryce Armstrong recorded 26 yards and a touchdown on three carries. Gabe Williams chipped in with 19 yards and a touchdown on four carries. Kendell Fennell also scored on a one yard run. Rio Litmer completed 24 of 29 passes for 312 yards and two touchdowns. Bryce Armstrong completed four of seven passes for 64 yards and a touchdown. Gabe Williams caught four passes for 59 yards. Colt Kremer added three receptions for 50 yards. Ian Garrahan recorded two catches for 46 yards and a touchdown. Tayden Lorenzen caught four passes for 41 yards. Cale Harris caught two passes for 38 yards. Simon Quinton added a 30 yard touchdown reception. Peyton Klosterman recorded three catches for 29 yards. Mikey Abner added two receptions and a touchdown. Isaac Niemann led the defense with four solo and two assisted tackles. Brady Carnohan added three solo and one assisted tackles. Griffin Benke recorded three solo tackles. Jimi Cox and Sam Feldbrugge each recovered a fumble and Gabe Williams recovered a fumble he returned 36 yards.

Lucas Anthrop led Campbell County’s ground game with 49 yards on 14 carries. Trevor Bertram carried the ball six times for 20 yards. Cooper Lairson recorded 19 yards on four carries. Lucas Anthrop completed six of 11 passes for 129 yards and two touchdowns. Xander Guy completed six of 10 passes for 43 yards with one interception. Ayden Earls caught five passes for 97 yards and one touchdown. Cade Anthrop added three receptions for 49 yards and a touchdown. Elijah Depperschmidt led the defense with 10 solo and six assisted tackles. Clayton Neuspickel added four solo and three assisted tackles. Elliott Eaton recorded four solo tackles. Trevor Bertram chipped in with one solo and four assisted tackles.

Johnson Central scored 22 points in the third quarter to take control of the game on their way to a 46-21 victory. Johnson Central recorded 377 yards and had one pass intercepted. Belfry recorded 311 yards, lost two fumbles, and had a pass intercepted.

Braxton Perry led Johnson Central’s ground game with 180 yards and two touchdowns on 14 carries. Logan Music carried the ball 13 times for 100 yards and two touchdowns. Collin Cantrell recorded 75 yards and two touchdowns on 15 carries. Austin Slone attempted one pass that was intercepted. Dylan LeMaster led the defense with 11 solo and six assisted tackles. Collin Cantrell and Bryson Music each recorded four solo and four assisted tackles. JD Morris added two solo and seven assisted tackles. Drew Ferguson and Rylan Kelsey chipped in with four solo and three assisted tackles each. Braxton Perry recovered a fumble for a touchdown. Trey Davis also recovered a fumble.

Dante Davis led Belfty’s ground game with 147 yards and two touchdowns on 18 carries. JB Woolum carried the ball nine times for 38 yards. Ace Caudill recorded 29 yards on four carries. Chase Varney carried the ball three times for six yards. Chase Varney completed four of 15 passes for 91 yards and one touchdown with one interception. Ace Caudill caught three passes for 74 yards and a touchdown. JB Woolum added one reception for 17 yards. Eli Caudill led the defense with two solo and eight assisted tackles and intercepted a pass he returned for 54 yards. JB Woolum added four solo and six assisted tackles. Jaydon Muncy recorded three solo and six assisted tackles. Tristan Chapman, Jamerson Chaffin. And Tyler Bond each recorded eight assisted tackles. Kolby Robinette chipped in with seven assisted tackles.

Keagan Maher scored on a four yard run and Eyler Tibbs entered the conversion kick in the closing seconds to give Cooper a 20-13 upset victory over Ryle in the battle of Union Kentucky. Cooper entered the game at 0-2 and was facing an uphill battle playing at Ryle against a large physical team before a standing only crowd. Cooper recorded 227 yards of total offense and had one pass intercepted. Ryle recorded 235 yards, lost two fumbles, and had a pass intercepted.

Keagan Maher led Cooper’s ground game with 78 yards and a touchdown on 22 carries. Cam O’Hara completed 16 of 25 passes for 134 yards with one interception. Ryker Campbell caught three passes for 43 yards. Corey Freihofer added three receptions for 22 yards. Talon Calhoun recorded three catches for 21 yards. Colton Graham chipped in with three receptions for 16 yards. Max Wethington led the defense with 10 solo and two assisted tackles. Colton Graham added nine solo and three assisted tackles. Dax Bolen recorded five solo and four assisted tackles. Jaymauri Duncan added six solo and two assisted tackles and recovered a fumble. Talon Calhoun also recovered a fumble. Ryker Campbell came up big with a 73 yard interception return for a touchdown. Eyler Tibbs added field goals of 24 and 24 yards and added two extra points.

Jacob Savage led the Ryle ground game with 113 yards and a touchdown on 17 carries. Nathan Verax carried the ball 12 times for 55 yards and a touchdown. Dameyn Anness recorded 27 yards on seven carries. Nathan Verax completed five of 17 passes for 40 yards with one interception. Bredyn Elder caught two passes for 15 yards. Evan Kincaid added one reception for six yards. Jacob Savage led the defense with seven solo and seven assisted tackles. Gavin Lyons added six solo and five assisted tackles. Jesse Nunn recorded three solo and six assisted tackles. Kai Workman chipped in with two solo and six assisted tackles. Evan Kincaid interecpted a pass he returned eight yards.

Beechwood dominated play on both sides of the ball in a 48-7 road victory over Dixie Heights tonight. Beechwood recorded 444 yards of total offense, was penalized four times for 35 yards and did not have any turnovers. Dixie Heights recorded 146 yards of total offense, was penalized four times for 35 yards and had two passes intercepted.

Brody Aylor led Beechwood’s ground game with 95 yards on 13 carries. Tyler Fryman carried the ball two times for 25 yards. Nathan Pabst and Emmett Queen each ran for a touchdown. Emmett Queen completed 12 of 23 passes for 297 yards and three touchdowns. Nathan Pabst caught six passes for 184 yards and a touchdown. Tyler Fryman added 87 yards and a touchdown on four catches. Bo Sowder recorded one reception for 17 yards. Brody Aylor added a nine yard touchdown reception. Chase McDaniel led the defense with five solo tackles with four of his tackles resulting in loss of yardage. Jake Atmore added four solo and one assisted tackles. Brody Aylor recorded two solo and three assisted tackles. Colin Morris chipped in with one solo and four assisted tackles. Caleb Arrasmith scored on a 45 yard interception return. Kolten Craycraft also intercepted a pass. Kingston Brockett blocked a punt.

Eric Brown led Dixie Heights’ ground game with 19 yards on two carries. Easton Niemeyer carried the ball three times for 16 yards. Nishawn Golsby recorded 10 yards on eight carries. Mason Field completed seven of 17 passes for 96 yards and a touchdown with two interception. Nishawn Golsby caught two passes for 40 yards and a touchdown. Parks Vonderhear added three receptions of 20 yards. Hudson Morris recorded one catch for 14 yards. Nishawn Golsby led the defense with four solo and three assisted tackles. Luke Thacker and Kyle Henry each recorded two solo and five assisted tackles. Brayden Brzgot chipped in with two solo and four assisted tackles. The Colonels were penalized five times for 50 yards, lost two fumbles, and had a pass intercepted. Simon Kenton recorded 14 first downs and 316 yards of total offense. The Pioneers were penalized three times for 46 yards, lost three fumbles, and had two passes intercepted.

Cash Harney led Covington Catholic’s ground game with 158 yards and two touchdowns on 10 carries. Dylan Gaiser carried the ball nine times for 52 yards and three touchdowns. Mac Cogswell recorded 61 yards and a touchdown on one carry. Logan Sanning carried the ball once for 22 yards and a touchdown. Cash Harney completed 11 of 18 passes for 154 yards and one touchdown with one interception. Dylan Gaiser completed his only pass for 22 yards. Gabe Weis caught on epass for 39n yards. Donovan Bradshaw added three receptions for 33 yards and a touchdown. Dylan Gaiser recorded three receptions for 22 yards. Mac Cogswell chipped in with one reception for 28 yards. The game was stopped at halftime with Corbin leading Bryan Station by the score of 7-0 because of weather conditions and will not resume. Corbin recorded seven first downs and 139 yards of total offense. The Redhounds were penalized four times for 21 yards and lost one fumble. Bryan Station recorded three first downs and 63 yards of total offense. The Defenders were penalized twice for eight yards, lost a fumble, and had a pass intercepted.

Cole Stevens led Corbin’s ground game with 57 yards and a touchdown on 11 carries. Mason Salmons carried the ball seven times for 32 yards. Trey Person recorded 28 yards on six carries. Clay Akins chipped in with 22 yards on three carries. Corbin did not attempt any passes. Malachi Brown led the defense with three solo tackles with two of his tackles resulting in losses totaling six yards. Silas Mahan added two solo tackles and intercepted a pass. Zach Thomas recorded one solo and one assisted tackles. Bryson Hopkins recovered a fumble.

Coleson Carpenter led Bryan Station’s ground game with eight yards on two carries. Avery Johnson carried the ball four times for five yards. Kerwin Montgomery added five yards on three carries. South Oldham pulled away in the final quarter to defeat Tates Creek by the score of 41-24. South Oldham utilized a balanced offense (280 rushing and 186 yards passing) to earn the victory/ South Oldham recorded 22 first downs and 466 yards of total offense. The Dragons were penalized seven times for 55 yards and lost a fumble. Tates Creek recorded 15 first downs and 296 yards of total offense. The Commodores were penalized three times for 25 yards, lost a fumble, and had a pass intercepted.

Anthony Dixon led South Oldham’s ground game with 94 yards and a touchdown on seven carries. Adrian Miles carried the ball 14 times for 70 yards and a touchdown. Kole Greenwell recorded 48 yards and two touchdowns on nine carries. Juelz Davila carried the ball four times for 26 yards. Adrian Miles completed 11 of 14 passes for 186 yards and two touchdowns. Charlie Temple caught three passes for 33 yards. Kolade Dada added two receptions for 57 yards and one touchdown. Anthony Dixon recorded two receptions for 49 yards and a touchdown. DuPont Manual defeated Frederick Douglass by the score of 28-21 in a game that started on Friday and ended on Saturday afternoon. The score was tied at 14 entering the third quarter on Friday them the weather delay caused the remainder of the game to be played Saturday. Manual took a 28-14 lead and weathered a late rally by the Broncos to earn the victory. DuPont Manual recorded 19 first down and 378 yards of total offense. The Crimsons were penalized nine times for 92 yards and lost a fumble. Frederick Douglass recorded 15 first downs and 272 yards of total offense. The Broncos had two passes intercepted.

Gerian Traynor led Manual’s ground game with 163 yards and two touchdowns on 30 carries. Kaden Mack carried the ball 18 times for 64 yards and one touchdown. Kaden Mack completed 13 of 20 passes for 140 yards and a touchdown. Brayland Miles caught three passes for 39 yards and a touchdown. Noah Price caught three passes for 32 yards. Dahmarie Wilson recorded two receptions for 33 yards. Gerian Traynor chipped in with 20 yards on two carries. Brayland Miles returned two kickoffs for 41 yards with a long return of 21 yards. Dahmarie Wilson returned one kickoff for 14 yards. Jackson Pritts punted three times for a 45.7 average with a long punt of 46 yards with one punt inside the 20 yard line and kicked off five times with five touch backs. Hayden Winn led the defense with four solo and one assisted tackles with one interception returned six yards. J. Stephens added four solo and one assisted tackles with two of his tackles resulting in losses totaling eight yards. He also intercepted a pass he returned 12 yards. Dahmarie Wilson recorded three solo and three assisted tackles with one of his tackles resulting in a six yard loss.

Jeremiah Turner led Frederick Douglass’ ground game with 24 yards on five carries. Demond Green carried the ball once for 24 yards. Kaden John added 15 yards on one carry. Dakari Talbert carried the ball 10 times for 19 yards with one touchdown. Jayden Guzman completed 14 of 32 passes for 203 yards and a touchdown with two interceptions. Kane Pointer caught four passes for 77 yards and a touchdown. Terry Cayson added three receptions for 53 yards. Dakari Talbert recorded three catches for 33 yards. DeAndre Clay had two catches for 24 yards. Thurman Wade led the defense with nine solo and one assisted tackles with two of his tackles resulting in losses totaling six yards. Cionne Conn added six solo and five assisted tackles with one of his tackles resulting in a one yard loss. Toby Robinson recorded six solo and one assisted tackles and recovered a fumble. Nelson Irakiza added five solo and three assisted tackles with one of his tackles resulting in a two yard loss.

Bowling Green recorded 23 first downs and 348 yards of total offense. The Purples were penalized three times for 35 yards and had two passes intercepted.

Skyler Way led the Scott County ground game with 111 yards on 16 carries. Timmy Emongo carried the ball 12 times for 77 yards and one touchdown. Nick Ranson recorded 76 yards on 12 carries. Jayden Garrett carried the ball three times for 43 yards and a touchdown. Red Owens chipped in with 26 yards on three carries. Tyree Stoner led CAL’s ground game with 63 yards and a touchdown on five carries. Jeffrey Vazzana carried the ball nine times for 50 yards and a touchdown. Jackson Burke completed 14 of 19 passes for 211 yards and two touchdowns. Brodie Pfeiffer completed 15 of 18 passes for 146 yards and two touchdowns. Gaines Howard caught 10 passes for 172 yards and a touchdown. Ja’Hyde White added 10 receptions for 105 yards and two touchdowns. Andrew Greene added three receptions for 33 yards.
