Beechwood took a 14-7 lead mid way through the second quarter but Covington Catholic’s ground game took over and the Colonels rolled to a 42-14 victory. Covington Catholic recorded 22 first downs and 523 yards of total offense. The Colonels were penalized three times for 32 yards, lost two fumbles, and had one pass intercepted. Beechwood recorded 16 first downs and 339 yards of total offense. The Tigers were penalized four times for 45 yards and had two passes intercepted.

Dylan Gaiser led Covington Catholic’s ground game with 178 yards and three touchdowns on 23 carries. Cash Harney carried the ball 13 times for 164 yards and two touchdowns. Mac Cogswell carried the ball once for 66 yards and a touchdown. Logan Sanning recorded 61 yards on four carries. Cash Harney completed five of six passes for 54 yards with one interception. Owen Pitzer caught two passes for 19 yards. Dylan Gaiser added one reception for 14 yards. Zach Brooks added one catch for 12 yards. Dylan Gaiser returned one kickoff for 14 yards. Cash Myers led the defense with eight solo and two assisted tackles. Brandon Smith added four solo and two assisted tackles and intercepted a pass he returned 15 yards. Logan Sanning recorded five solo tackles. Charlie Reeves intercepted a pass he returned 25 yards.

Nathan Pabst led Beechwood’s ground game with 75 yards on seven carries. Tyler Fryman carried the ball six times for 44 yards. Emmett Queen recorded four yards and a touchdown on seven carries, Emmett Queen completed 17 of 29 passes for 211 yards and one touchdown with two interceptions. Tyler Fryman caught six passes for 104 yards and a touchdown. Nathan Pabst added four receptions for 34 yards. Caleb Arrasmith recorded four receptions for 46 yards. Nathan Pabst returned seven kickoffs for 74 yards with a long return of 21 yards. Tyler Fryman led the defense with seven solo and four assisted tackles and recovered a fumble. Nathan Pabst added six solo tackles. Colin Morris recorded three solo and one assisted tackles. Isaac Pilgrim chipped in with two solo and two assisted tackles. Caleb Arrasmith recovered a fumble and Austin Stevenson intercepted a pass.

West Jessamine defeated Lafayette by the score of 26-13. West Jessamine recorded 19 first downs and 351 yards of total offense. The Colts were penalized 12 times for 91 yards. Lafayette recorded 12 first downs and 190 yards of total offense. The Generals were penalized five times for 33 yards and had a pass intercepted.

Bragdon Welch led West Jessamine’s ground game with 109 yards and a touchdown on 25 carries. Caleb Jones carried the ball 12 times for 74 yards and two touchdowns. Cooper Swaim completed 15 of 21 passes for 174 yards and a touchdown. Bragdon Welch caught six passes for 57 yards. Caleb Jones added three receptions for 50 yards. Cooper Wiley recorded three receptions for 20 yards. Drew Hardin caught two passes for eight yards. Nash Bird caught a 39 yard touchdown pass. Cooper Swaim punted twice for a 42.5 average with a long punt of 51 yards with both punts inside the 20 yard line. Cooper Wiley returned one punt for 26 yards and Caleb Jones added one punt return for 17 yards. Bragdon Welch returned one kickoff for 19 yards. Bragdon Welch led the defense with one solo and five assisted tackles with 1.5 of his tackles resulting in losses totaling two yards. Lincoln Coffman added two solo and three assisted tackles. JJ Richardson led Lafayette’s ground game with 32 yards on two carries. Tyree Richardson carried the ball three times for 13 yards and a touchdown. Harrison Stephens recorded 15 yards on six carries. Jehovanis Kondo completed 15 of 26 passes for 167 yards and one touchdowns with one interception. Jackson Grantz caught four passes for 34 yards. Colton Coleman added three receptions for 70 yards. JJ Richardson caught two passes for 29 yards and one touchdown. Jackson Grantz punted twice for a 43.0 average with a long punt of 45 yards with one punt inside the 20 yard line. Gavin Huff and Nick Logan each returned one kickoff for 10 and eight yards respectively. Jackson Grantz led the defense with eight solo and seven assisted tackles. Zhian Harmon added three solo and four assisted tackles. JJ Richardson recorded five solo and one assisted tackles. Madison Central shocked Scott County as they handed the Cardinals their first defeat on the year 34-14 on their home turf. Madison Central recorded 13 first downs and 288 yards of total offense. The Indians were penalized seven times for 55 yards and lost a fumble. Scott County recorded 16 first downs and 287 yards of total offense. The Cardinals were penalized six times for 36 yards, lost s fumble, and had two passes intercepted.

Corinthian Barnes led Madison Central’s ground game with 125 yards and two touchdowns on 29 carries. Carson Herbst carried the ball six times for 75 yards and a touchdown. Davion DeBruce recorded 26 yards on four carries. Carson Herbst completed his only pass for a 66 yard touchdown strike. Queintsee Compton caught one pass for one pass for 66 yards and a touchdown. Jeff Hairston returned two kickoffs for 46 yards with a long return of 26 yards. Carson Herbst punted once for 46 yards. Colten Johnson led the defense with eight solo and one assisted tackles with two of his tackles resulting in losses totaling six yards and scored on a 15 yard fumble recovery return. Liam Dailey added seven solo tackles. Derek McElwee recorded five solo and four assisted tackles with 1,5 of his tackles resulting in losses totaling five yards. Bronson Parker chipped in with four solo tackles with one of his tackles resulting in a one yard loss. Carson Herbst intercepted two passes with 21 return yardage,

Skyler Way led Scott County’s ground game with 46 yards on 11 carries. Jayden Garrett carried the ball 10 times for 31 yards. Charlie Ellison completed 12 of 16 passes for 209 yards and two touchdowns with two interceptions. Ju Ju Harmon caught four passes for 69 yards. Red Owens added four receptions for 60 yards and a touchdown. Timmy Emongo recorded three receptions for 76 yards and a touchdown. Timmy Emongo returned two kickoffs for 32 yards with a long return of 17 yards. Ju Ju Harmon led the defense with five solo and one assisted tackles. Carlos Fugate added five solo tackles. Cruz Lester recorded three solo and three assisted tackles with one of his tackles resulting in a one yard loss. Riley Colvin recorded three solo and two assisted tackles. Keller Furnis recovered a fumble.

Frederick Douglass defeated Corbin 28-7 as the Redhounds could not get their offense untracked as they dropped their second consecutive decision. Frederick Douglass recorded 14 first downs and 201 yards of total offense. The Broncos were penalized seven times for 80 yards. Corbin recorded 10 first downs and 175 yards of total offense. The Redhounds were penalized nine times for 89 yards and had a pass intercepted.

Dakari Talbert led Frederick Douglass’ ground game with 113 yards and a touchdown on 19 carries. Carter Ross carried the ball four times for 17 yards. Jayden Guzman completed seven of 16 passes for 61 yards and three touchdowns. Terry Cayson caught two passes for 30 yards and two touchdowns. Kane Pointer added an eight yard touchdown reception. Demond Green returned two punts for 77 yards with a long return of 42 yards. Dakari Talbert returned one kickoff for 25 yards. Cionne Conn led the defense with six solo and two assisted tackles. Tyler King made a diving touchdown catch in the end zone in the closing seconds of the game to give Lexington Christian Academy a dramatic 28-21 victory over Lexington Catholic. Lexington Catholic raced out to a 13-0 lead in the first quarter but LCA rallied to take a 14-13 lead in the closing seconds of the third quarter. Lexington Catholic fought back to take a 21-14 lead mid way through the final quarter. However LCA scored two touchdowns in the final 4:20 to earn the victory. LCA recorded 15 first down and 237 yards of total offense. The Eagles were penalized seven times for 55 yards, lost a fumble, and had a pass intercepted. Lexington Catholic recorded 18 first downs and 330 yards of total offense. The Knights were penalized nine times for 80 yards, lost s fumble, and had a pass intercepted.

Nash Whalen led LCA’[s ground game with 91 yards and three touchdowns on 19 carries. Daven Hood carried the ball eight times for 27 yards. Nash Whalen completed 13 of 19 passes for 116 yards and a touchdown with one interception. Tyler King caught seven passes for 60 yards and a touchdown. Daven Hood added four receptions for 17 yards. Jeremiah Burbage recorded one reception for 42 yards. Tyler King returned two kickoffs for 99 yards with a long rweturn of 74 yards and returned one punt for 18 yards. Daven Hood returned one kickoff for 23 yards. Thomas Sizemore led the defense with five solo and two assisted tackles and recovered a fumble. Logan Mays added five solo and one assisted tackles with 3.5 of his tackles resulting in losses totaling 13 yards. Nash Whalen recorded four solo and two assisted tackles. Aiden Lyons chipped in with four solo and one assisted tackles. Bode Darland recorded two solo and three assisted tackles with 1,5 of his tackles resulting in losses totaling seven yards. Collin Hensley recorded three solo tackles and intercepted a pass.

Jack Wedding led Lexington Catholic’s ground game with 89 yards and a touchdown on eight carries. Brady Wasik carried the ball 19 times for 76 yards. Eric Smith recorded 35 yards on nine carries. Brady Wasik completed 10 of 19 passes for 127 yards and two touchdowns with one interception. Duncan Gaunce caught four passes for 54 yards and a touchdown. Ashton Pflugner caught two passes for 41 yards. Mark Hosinski caught a seven yard touchdown pass. Duncan Gaunce returned three kickoffs for 40 yards with a long return of 15 yards. Eli Gann and Baird Woodall each returned one kickoff for 16 and 13 yards respectively. Jack Wedding led the defense with five solo and two assisted tackles. Bryan Station defeated Tates Creek by the score of 35-14. Bryan Station recorded 20 first down and 331 yards of total offense. The Defenders were penalized nine times for 97 yards. Tates Creek recorded 15 first downs and 301 yards of total offense. The Commodores were penalized 10 times for 124 yards and had three passes intercepted.

Avery Johnson led Bryan Station’s ground game with 55 yards on 11 carries. Raymond Young carried the ball six times for 46 yards and two touchdowns. Jeremiah George added 29 yards on five carries. Coleson Carpenter chipped in with 21 yards on six carries. Coleson Carpenter completed nine of 14 passes for 156 yards and three touchdowns. Michael Saenz caught three passes for 36 yards and two touchdowns. Brayden Payne added three receptions for 16 yards. Kamani Barbour caught two passes for 84 yards and a touchdown. Kamani Barbour returned two kickoffs for 34 yards with a long return of 21 yards. Kaiden Simpson returned one kickoff for 19 yards. BI Evans led Tates Creek’s ground game with 44 yards on eight carries. Kaleb Murphy carried the ball six times for 13 yards and a touchdown. Darnell Burnside completed seven of 12 passes for 82 yards and one touchdown with two interceptions. Ace Davis completed eight of 11 passes for 153 yards with one interception. Luke Cooper caught eight passes for 141 yards. Triston Taylor added four catches for 48 yards and a touchdown. JT Cooper recorded three receptions for 46 yards. Triston Taylor returned three kickoffs for 73 yards with a long return of 35 yards. Dvaughn Flowers led the defense with five solo and five assisted tackles with one of his tackles resulting in a four yard loss. Shawn Taylor added four solo and four assisted tackles with one of his tackles resulting in a seven yard loss. The Colonels were penalized five times for 51 yards and had a pass intercepted. Henry Clay recorded 16 first downs and 285 yards and total offense. The Blue Devils were penalized eight times for 50 yards and lost two fumbles.

Nishawn Golsby led Dixie Height’s ground game with 105 yards and three touchdowns on four carries. Levi Gilliland added 16 yards on seven carries. Mason Fields recorded 11 yards on three carries. Brad Roaden carried the ball twice for 10 yards. Mason Fields completed 16 of 27 passes for 283 yards and three touchdowns with one interception. Gavin Henson completed his only pass for six yards. Hudson Morris caught five passes for 88 yards and a touchdown. Parks Vanderhaar added three receptions for 40 yards and a touchdown. Tyson Metzger recorded two receptions for 30 yards. Henry Waters caught one pass for 44 yards. Duncan Linville added a 31 yard touchdown reception. Henry Waters returned three kickoffs for 54 yards with a long return of 25 yards. Great Crossing rolled to a 55-36 over visiting Paul Laurence Dunbar tonight to earn their first victory of the season. Great Crossing recorded 26 first downs and 470 yards of total offense. The Warhawks were penalized 12 times for 100 yards. Paul Laurence Dunbar recorded 17 first downs and 350 yards of total offense. The Bulldogs were penalized eight times for 66 yards and had two passes intercepted.

Luke Ballard led Great Crossings’ ground game with 164 yards and four touchdowns on 13 carries. Landen Martin added 24 yards on six carries. Joel Johnson recorded 21 yards on one carry and Grant Rock ran for a touchdown. Grant Rock completed 21 of 24 passes for 237 yards and two touchdowns. Hunter Moody caught six passes for 61 yards. Luke Ballard added five receptions for 27 yards. Trey Campbell recorded four catches for 71 yards and a touchdown. Seth Moody chipped in with three receptions for 28 yards. Colton Rorie added two receptions for 12 yards. Joel Johnson added a 38 yard touchdown reception. Trey Campbell returned three kickoffs for 53 yards with a long return of 32 yards. Joel Johnson and Dazmon Primus each returned one kickoff for for 24 and 22 yards respectively. Wyatt Highley led the defense with six solo and one assisted tackles with two of his tackles resulting in losses totaling three yards. Jake Kearney added two solo and one assisted tackles. Evan Veach intercepted a pass he returned nine yards. Colby Abner also intercepted a pass he returned for six yards.

Jayshawn Crosby led Dunbar’s ground game with 67 yards and a touchdown on 11 carries. Cameron Ison added 48 yards and a touchdown on seven carries. Dominic Faulkner carried the ball eight times for 43 yards. Ethan Schirmer scored on an eight yard run. Dominic Faulkner completed nine of 18 passes for 168 yards and two touchdowns with two interceptions. Nolan Lowe completed his only pass for six yards. Ryan Barrett caught three passes for 109 yards and a touchdown. Noah Barrett added two receptions for 25 yards. Jayshawn Crosby caught a 41 yard touchdown reception. Dominic Faulkner returned two kickoffs for 56 yards with a long return of 31 yards. Azarious Rawlings added three kickoffs for 27 yards with a long return of 20 yards. Jaxon Leugers led the defense with six solo and one assisted tackles. Matthew Box recorded four solo and two assisted tackles with one of his tackles resulting in a six yard loss. Kayden Yoak led South Warren’s ground game with 79 yards and a touchdown on 10 carries. Jamir Boards carried the ball twice for 35 yards and a touchdown. Camden Page recorded 19 yards on five carries. Jake Carter chipped in with 17 yards on four carries. Camden Page completed 14 of 17 passes for 162 yards and two touchdowns. Chase Bell completed four of five passes for 36 yards and two touchdowns. Kayden Yoak caught three passes for 46 yards and a touchdown. Jake Carter added six receptions for 39 yards. Warren Central trailed Warren East 45-44 after three quarters but outscored the Raiders 14-0 in the final quarter to earn a 58-45 victory and ending a nine game losing streak to Warren East. Warren Central recorded 416 yards of total offense and lost a fumble. Warren East recorded 404 yards, lost a fumble, and had a pass intercepted.

Walter Moore led Warren Central’s ground game with 101 yards and two touchdowns on 17 carries. LaTavyon Dunn carried the ball nine times for 23 yards. LaTavyon Dunn completed 21 of 29 passes for 274 yards and four touchdowns. Juelz Hyde completed his only pass for 13 yards and a touchdown. RaMaun North caught 12 passes for 124 yards and two touchdowns. Juelz Hyde added three receptions for 79 Yards and a touchdown. Dakota Turner recorded four catches for 56 yards and two touchdowns.
