Franklin County defeated Henry Clay by a score of 75-61.  Franklin County shot 58.1% from the field including four of 12 from the three point line.  The Lady Flyers connected on 21 of 30 free throws, pulled down 37 rebounds, and scored four points off four Henry Clay turnovers.  Henry Clay shot 35.8% from the field including four of 14 from beyond the arc.  The Lady Blue Devils connected on nine of 14 free throws, pulled down 33 rebounds, and scored 16 points off 13 Franklin County turnovers.

Brooklynn Miles led Franklin County with 28 points including 12 of 13 free throws, four rebounds, and three assists.  Patience Laster added 18 points and 10 rebounds.  Jasmine Simpson recorded 12 points including two three point baskets.  5-8 Sr. Samareah Levarity recorded seven points and six rebounds.

Amiya Jenkins led Henry Clay with 24 points including two three point baskets and seven rebounds.  Kiya Thompson added 16 points including two three point baskets, three assists, and five steals.  Taviona Sanford recorded 10 points and three assists.  5-10 Sr. Grace Branchini chipped in with eight points and eight rebounds.

Lafayette led 48-46 after three quarters but pulled away in the final quarter but pulled away in the final quarter to defeat Dunbar by a score of 69-55.  The score was tied six ties and there were two lead changes in the game.  Dunbar did not have an answer for the 1-2 combination of Lindi DeBilzan and Macey Goff who combined for 50 points and 14 rebounds.

Lafayette shot 50% from the field including two of four from the three point line.  The Lady Generals connected on 17 of 25 free throws, pulled down 37 rebounds, and scored 30 points off 20 Dunbar turnovers.  Dunbar shot 32.1% from the field including eight of 23 from beyond the arc.  The Lady Bulldogs connected on 11 of 18 free throws, pulled down 35 rebounds, and scored 12 points off 16 Lafayette turnovers.

Lindi DeBilzan led Lafayette with 32 points including two three point baskets, three rebounds, four assists, two blocked shots, and three steals.  Macey Goff added 18 points including eight of 10 free throws, 11 rebounds, four assists, and four steals.  Anaya Brown recorded seven points, four rebounds, and three blocked shots.

Scott County dominated tonight in an 85-35 victory over Madison Central.  Scott County shot 44% from the field including eight of 32 from the three point line.  The Lady Cardinals connected on three of nine free throws, pulled down 54 rebounds, and scored 29 points off 23 Madison Central turnovers.  Madison Central shot 22.4% from the field including four of 22 from beyond the arc.  The Lady Indians connected on five of eight free throws, pulled down 43 rebounds, and scored five points off four Scott County turnovers.

Morgan DeFoor led Scott County with 28 points including four three point baskets, four rebounds, five assists, and four steals.  Kenady Tompkins added 14 points, 11 rebounds, and four blocked shots.  Maaliya Owens recorded 10 points, 10 rebounds, four assists, and five steals.  Malea Williams chipped in with eight points, eight rebounds, and four blocked shots.  Juliette Smith added six points and six rebounds and scored her 1,000^th point as a Lady Cardinal tonight.

Ben Johnson.  Lexington Christian Academy countered with 6-2 Sr. Will Hacker, 6-1 Sr. Matthew Johnson, 6-7 Sr. Kyle Rode, 5-10 Sr. Baylor Brown, and 6-0 Sr. Pearce Dalton.

Lexington Catholic rallied to defeat Lexington Christian Academy in overtime by a score of 54-49.  LCA had a two point lead late in regulation but missed two free throws and Ben Johnson hit a lay up in the final seconds to force overtime.  Johnson did not score until the final quarter tonight.  There were six ties and eight leaders in the game.  It was a game of contrasting styles and results tonight as LCA held a 30-18 advantage in three point points while Lexington Catholic held a 24-8 advantage on points in the paint.

Lexington Catholic shot 42.2% from the field including six of 19 from the three point line.  The Knights connected on 10 of 13 free throws, pulled down 33 rebounds, and scored 14 points off 16 LCA turnovers.  LCA shot 41.5% from the field including 10 of 29 from beyond the arc.  The Eagles connected on five of 12 free throws, pulled down 25 rebounds, and scored 19 points off 12 Lexington Catholic turnovers.

6-4 Jr. Luke Wedding led Lexington Catholic with 17 points including five three point baskets and six rebounds.  Brice Scott added 10 points, 10 rebounds, and three steals.  Ben Johnson recorded nine points and five rebounds.  Patrick Geoghegan also scored nine points.

Will Hacker led LCA with 22 points including six three point baskets.  Kyle Rode added 11 points, 10 rebounds, and five assists.  Pearce Dalton recorded eight points and five rebounds.

The young Berea Lady Pirates have a gaudy 13-2 record this season with both losses coming at the hands of the Lady Admirals.  Danville outscored Berea 15-4 in the third quarter to take control of the game.  Danville shot 37.9% from the field including six of 19 from the three point line.  The Lady Admirals connected on 12 of 20 free throws, and pulled down 39 rebounds.  Berea shot 27% from the field including two of 12 from beyond the arc.  The Lady Pirates connected on 14 of 23 free throws, pulled down 35 rebounds, and committed 19 turnovers.

(Scott County enters the game without the services of all-state 6-7 Sr. Michael Moreno due to an injury).  Westchester coach Ed Azzam (entering the tournament 877-271 and National Coach of the Year and most wins in Los Angeles City history) countered with 6-6 Sr. Kaelen Allen, 6-3 Sr. Jordan Brinson, 6-8 Sr. Ka’veon Batiste, 5-10 Sr. Jeremiah Turley, and 6-2 Sr. Kevin Bethel.

Scott County led by nine with 7:09 left in the game but went cold from the field and Westchester finished the game on a 9-1 win to capture the championship with a 42-41.  Scott County had a late chance for the victory but could not connect for the win.  The score was tied four times and there were eight lead changes in the game.  Westchester shot 45.2% from the field including three of 13 from the three point line.  The Comets connected on 11 of 17 free throws, pulled down 25 rebounds, and scored six points off 10 Scott County turnovers.  Scott County shot 41.7% from the field including seven of 14 from beyond the arc.  The Cardinals connected on four of eight free throws, pulled down 20 rebounds, and scored 17 points off 14 Westchester turnovers.

Jordan Brinson led Westchester with 19 points, nine rebounds, and two steals.  Kaelen Allen added 11 points, four rebounds, and three steals.
