Tates Creek’s defense held George Rogers Clark to four first downs and 74 yards of total offense in a 36-0 victory.  Tates Creek recorded 14 first downs and 273 yards of total offense.  The Commodores were penalized 10 times for 97 yards.  George Rogers Clark recorded four first downs and 74 yards of total offense.  The Cardinals were penalized nine times for 132 yards and had two passes intercepted.

Laron Warner led Tates Creek’s ground game with 66 yards and a touchdown on 11 carries.  Cameron Workman completed seven of 10 passes for 103 yards and two touchdowns.  Jackson Beerman caught three passes for 47 yards and a touchdown.  Darryl Bell added two receptions for 38 yards and a touchdown.  Braxton Minke caught one pass for 57 yards.  Langston Love returned a kickoff 83 yards for a touchdown.  Bryce Wilson led the defense with three solo and two assisted tackles with two of his tackles resulting in losses totaling 19 yards.  Obie Taylor added three solo and one assisted tackles with 2.5 of his tackles resulting in losses totaling 13 yards.  Ebube Emeh recorded two solo and three assisted tackles with 2.5 of his tackles resulting in losses totaling nine yards.  Xavier Johnson and Isaiah Weems each intercepted a pass.

DeMikale Knowles led George Rogers Clark’s ground game with 26 yards on 12 carries.  Pierce Nisbet completed four of 12 passes for 13 yards with one interception.  Will Henry completed three of six passes for 61 yards with one interception.  Chandler Gray caught two passes for 11 yards.  Isaiah Noland and Levi Broeking each caught one pass for 28 and 23 yards respectively.  Trevon Jones returned three kickoffs for 72 yards with a long return of 28 yards.  Kobe Coffee led the defense with four solo and two assisted tackles with two of his tackles resulting in losses totaling three yards.  Hunter Dunn added four solo and one assisted tackles.

Paul Laurence Dunbar pulled away in the final minutes of the game to earn a 40-21 victory over Henry Clay.  Dunbar recorded 14 first downs and 301 yards of total offense.  The Bulldogs were penalized six times for 49 yards.  Henry Clay recorded 15 first downs and 307 yards of total offense.  The Blue Devils were penalized seven times for 58 yards, lost a fumble, and had two passes intercepted.

Alex Bard led Dunbar’s ground game with 42 yards and three touchdowns on 15 carries.  Nate Gay carried the ball 15 times for 33 yards and a touchdown.  Gavin Bugg completed 13 of 21 passes for 227 yards and a touchdown.  Isaiah Yeast caught five passes for 140 yards and a touchdown.  Nate Gay added three receptions for 56 yards.  Luke Hernandez led the defense with five solo and one assisted tackles with two of his tackles resulting in losses totaling three yards and intercepted a pass he returned 95 yards for a touchdown.  Mechail Pye added five solo tackles and Amari Bracken chipped in with four solo and one assisted tackles.  Bryson Yeast also intercepted a pass.

Zac Berezowitz led Henry Clay’s ground game with 86 yards and a touchdown on 11 carries.  Tyree Clarke carried the ball eight times for 29 yards and a touchdown.  Greg Couch completed 12 of 19 passes for 189 yards and a touchdown with two interceptions.  DeMarcus Tyler caught six passes for 112 yards and a touchdown.  Zac Berezowitz added three receptions for 62 yards.  Will Preston led the defense with eight solo and four assisted tackles with one of his tackles resulting in a five yard loss.  Ramind Jackson added eight solo and one assisted tackles.  Jay Compton recorded three solo and three assisted tackles.

Scott County raced out to a 43-0 halftime lead on their way to a 43-14 victory over Bryan Station tonight.  Scott County scored early and often and took advantage of four intercepted passes to easily defeat the Defenders.  Scott County recorded 22 first downs and 411 yards of total offense.  The Cardinals were penalized five times for 30 yards and lost a fumble.  Bryan Station recorded 18 first downs and 297 yards of total offense.  The Defenders were penalized six times for 76 yards and had four passes intercepted.

Brice Fryman led a balanced Scott County ground attack with 75 yards and three touchdowns on four carries.  Caleb Demus added 58 yards on six carries.  Kendrick Hamilton carried the ball eight times for 56 yards and a touchdown.  Payton Brown added 43 yards and a touchdown on five carries.  Josh Davis completed six of six passes for 91 yards and a touchdown.  Glenn Covington caught three passes for 30 yards.  Kendrick Hamilton added two receptions for 39 yards.  Brice Fryman caught a 22 yard touchdown pass.  Clay Moss led the defense with three solo and two assisted tackles.  KJ Christopher added three solo and two assisted tackles and intercepted a pass he returned 48 yards.  Cooper Robb recorded two solo and one assisted tackles including one tackle for a 40 yard loss and intercepted three passes he returned a total of 26 yards.

Chris Jones led the Bryan Station ground attack with 57 yards and a touchdown on 10 carries.  Quinten Floyd carried the ball twice for 34 yards.  Jalen Burbage added 28 yards on five carries.  Jalen Burbage completed 17 of 31 passes for 134 yards with two interceptions.  Quinten Floyd completed six of 11 passes for 44 yards and a touchdown with two interceptions.  Chris Jones caught seven passes for 79 yards and a touchdown.  Haiden Hunt added seven receptions for 25 yards.  Micah Lowe caught four passes for 45 yards.  Haiden Hunt returned three kickoffs for 107 yards with a long return of 68 yards.  W. Mitchell led the defense with seven solo and two assisted tackles.  Emanuel Sharp added five solo and one assisted tackles with two of his tackles resulting in losses totaling seven yards.  Theo Overton recorded four solo and two assisted tackles and recovered a fumble.

Lexington Christian Academy pulled away in the final quarter to defeat Somerset by a score of 41-28.  Somerset led midway through the third quarter by a score of 21-13 but LCA rallied for the victory.  LCA recorded 24 first downs and 491 yards of total offense.  The Eagles were penalized five times for 40 yards.  Somerset recorded 12 first downs and 359 yards of total offense.  The Briar Jumpers were penalized twice for 10 yards and had two passes intercepted.

Logan Nieves led LCA’s ground game with 157 yards and two touchdowns on 18 carries.  Dillon Wheatley carried the ball 27 times for 143 yards and a touchdown.  Brayden Miller completed 10 of 15 passes for 147 yards and two touchdowns.  Logan Nieves completed three of seven passes for 23 yards.  Ryan Stucky caught five passes for 70 yards.  Dillon Wheatley added three receptions for 68 yards and two touchdowns.  Drayden Burton returned two kickoffs for 74 yards.  Brett Wilkins led the defense with three solo and five assisted tackles.  Will McClurg added one solo and six assisted tackles.  Clay Elliot and Jed Green each intercepted a pass. 

Jordan Doan led Somerset’s ground game with 160 yards and two touchdowns on 15 carries.  Mason Reese completed 11 of 19 passes for 175 yards and one touchdown with two interceptions.  Isaiah Cornett caught four passes for 102 yards and a touchdown.  Josh Cornett added four receptions for 43 yards.  Collin Hartman led the defense with eight solo and four assisted tackles.  Ty Tevis added eight solo and one assisted tackles.  Chase Madden recorded four solo and five assisted tackles.

Lexington Catholic defeated Boyle County by a score of 38-7 in a game that was expected to be much closer.  Boyle County was able to effectively move the ball on the ground but their efforts were doomed by six interceptions including two returned by the Knights for touchdowns.  Lexington Catholic led 13-7 at halftime but the wheels came off in the second half for Boyle County as they were outscored 25-0 including the two interception returns for scores.  Lexington Catholic recorded 16 first downs and 289 yards of total offense.  The Knights were penalized four times for 30 yards and had two passes intercepted.  Boyle County recorded 14 first downs and 290 yards of total offense.  The Rebels were penalized seven times for 57 yards and had six passes intercepted.

Dameon Jones led Lexington Catholic’s ground game with 149 yards and a touchdown on 32 carries and picked up several hard yards between the tackles.  Kirk Fagot added 28 yards and a touchdown on six carries.  Beau Allen completed 14 of 25 passes for 115 yards and a touchdown with two interceptions.  Ben Buchignani caught three passes for 23 yards.  Gavin Cameron added two receptions for 49 yards and a touchdown.  Austin Pedroche led the defense with eight solo and three assisted tackles with 3.5 of his tackles resulting in losses totaling 10 yards.  Henry Holthaus added six solo and one assisted tackles.  Carson Brownell chipped in with five solo and three assisted tackles and intercepted a pass.  Sid Sharp recorded six solo tackles with one of his tackles resulting in an eight yard loss and intercepted a pass he returned 96 yards for a touchdown.  Will Roden added for solo and two assisted tackles with one of his tackles resulting in a 12 yard loss.  Eric Sottile recorded four solo and two assisted tackles and intercepted two passes,  one he returned 26 yards for a touchdown.  Jack Fagot also intercepted two passes.

L. Bartleson led Boyle County’s ground game with 103 yards on 10 carries.  Tanner Crawford carried the ball 13 times for 60 yards.  Sam Tiller completed six of 18 passes for 68 yards and one touchdown with four interceptions.  Reed Lanter completed four of 13 passes for 46 yards with two interceptions.  Nick Walker caught four passes for 52 yards.  Reese Smith added four receptions for 40 yards and a touchdown.  Kaden Gervacio led the defense with 10 solo and one assisted tackles with two of his tackles resulting in losses totaling five yards.  Kagen Jackson added seven solo and one assisted tackles.  Reese Smith recorded four solo and two assisted tackles and intercepted two passes.  Wade Acey added four solo tackles with two of his tackles resulting in losses totaling 12 yards.

Lafayette pulled away late to defeat Madison Central by a score of 49-31.  The score was tied 21-21 at halftime but Lafayette took a 35-21 lead late in the third quarter.  Madison central rallied and cut the deficit to 4; 35-31 with 8:26 remaining in the game.  Lafayette answered with two touchdowns in the last seven minutes of the game to secure the victory.  Lafayette recorded 19 first downs and 566 yards of total offense.  The Generals were penalized 14 times for 133 yards and had two passes intercepted.  Madison Central recorded 20 first downs and 354 yards of total offense.  The Indians were penalized five times for 42 yards and lost two fumbles.

Cameron Morgan led Lafayette’s ground game with 121 yards and two touchdowns on 10 carries.  Walker Wood carried the ball 14 times for 114 yards and a touchdown.  Javarius Robinson added 53 yards and a touchdown on six carries.  Walker Wood completed 12 of 21 passes for 277 yards and a touchdown with two interceptions.  Quinten Brown caught four passes for 85 yards.  Matthew Guilfoil added three receptions for 62 yards.  Teandre Newcome caught two passes for 75 yards and a touchdown.  Teandre Newcome returned one kickoff for 80 yards.  Ean Shaw led the defense with four solo and 11 assisted tackles with 1.5 of his tackles resulting in losses totaling six yards and recovered a fumble.  Kuantaze Cooper added five solo and two assisted tackles.  Tejrin McCoy recorded two solo and five assisted tackles.  Brendan Lane added five solo tackles and recovered a fumble. 

Jabari Huguely led Madison Central’s ground game with 90 yards on 13 carries.  Zach Hardin completed 15 of 23 passes for 240 yards and four touchdowns.  Ethan Hahn caught seven passes for 113 yards and a touchdown.  Keenan Miller added five receptions for 70 yards and two touchdowns.  Antwuan Warford added a 32 yard touchdown reception.  Landon White kicked off six times for a 59.3 average with five touchbacks.  Tristan Moorehead led the defense with 10 solo and four assisted tackles.  Elijah Haskins added four solo and three assisted tackles with one of his tackles resulting in a six yard loss.  Jordan Hendrix also recorded four solo and three assisted tackles.  Levi Gaskins intercepted a pass he returned for 16 yards and Christian Everly intercepted a pass he returned for 30 yards.

Danville give Somerset a large dose of RB Donlevy Harris and the 5-9 185 pound RB pounded the Briar Jumper defense for 291 yards and two touchdowns on 22 carries in a 25-7 victory over Somerset.  Somerset managed to slow down star QB Zach Dampier but Harris picked up the slack.  Somerset simply could not put together enough offense to challenge the Admirals tonight.  Danville recorded 311 yards on the ground and 100 yards through the air for a total of 411 yards.  Somerset recorded 102 yards on the ground and 73 yards through the air for a total of 175 yards.  Danville improves to 6-1 for the season while Somerset falls to 4-3.

Donlevy Harris led the Danville ground game with 291 yards and two touchdowns on 22 carries.  D’Mauriae VanCleave carried the ball six times for 17 yards and a touchdown.  Zack Dampier completed 15 of 23 passes for 100 yards and one touchdown.  D’Mauriae VanCleave caught six passes for 34 yards.  David Walker added four receptions for 37 yards and a touchdown.  Tanner Ford recorded four receptions for 28 yards.  Donlevy Harris led the defense with two solo and eight assisted tackles.  James Patton added two solo and seven assisted tackles.  Keshawn Railley recorded nine assisted tackles.  Ethan Downey chipped in with three solo and six assisted tackles.

Jordan Doan led Somerset’s ground game with 118 yards and a touchdown on 16 carries.  Mason Reese completed 12 of 17 passes for 71 yards with one interception.  Josh Cornett caught seven passes for 35 yards.  Jordan Doan added two receptions for 29 yards.  Colin Harttmann made several tackles tonight and recovered two fumbles to lead the defense.

This backyard brawl between neighboring teams ended up being a high scoring classic as Ryle earned a 49-42 victory over Cooper.  These Union rivals both came in with a lot of offensive firepower, a great fan base, and had the pleasure of performing before a large, enthusiastic crowd.  The first half was wild and crazy and featured offensive fireworks as both teams went to the locker room tied at 35-35.  Ryle held Cooper to seven points in the second half to secure the victory.  The game was very physical with several penalties being called as a result of the very intense rivalry between these talented squads.  Ryle recorded 304 yards on the ground and 156 yards through the air for a total of 460 yards.  Cooper recorded 160 yards on the ground and 301 yards through the air for a total of 461 yards.  Ryle improves to 7-0for the season while Cooper falls to 5-3.

Jake Chisholm led Ryle’s ground game with 218 yards and three touchdowns on 20 carries.  Tanner Morgan carried the ball four times for 49 yards.  Cole Burch recorded 37 yards and two touchdowns on nine carries.  Tanner Morgan completed 10 of 16 passes for 156 yards and one touchdown with one interception.  Ashley Burch caught four passes for 103 yards and a touchdown.  Jacob Chisholm also scored on a 99 yard kickoff return.  Colin Demetrakis led the defense with six solo and 10 assisted tackles.  Zach Rytlewski added seven solo and three assisted tackles.  Cooper Scherr recorded eight solo tackles.

Jaden Jackson led Cooper’s ground game with 141 yards and two touchdowns on 13 carries.  Jarod Lonaker completed 23 of 36 passes for 301 yards and four touchdowns.  Dante Hendrix caught 10 passes for 150 yards and three touchdowns.  Shea Burns added five receptions for 91 yards and a touchdown.  Justin Schlarman led the defense with six solo and three assisted tackles and intercepted a pass he returned 42 yards.  Bryce Leroy added three solo and three assisted tackles.  Sander Roksvag recorded four solo and two assisted tackles.  Jaden Jackson added five solo tackles.

Eastern Kentucky University gained a much needed victory with a 31-16 victory over Southeast Missouri tonight.  The Colonels only allowed one touchdown to the Redhawks tonight and got another big performance from QB Bennie Coney who threw for 337 yards and four touchdowns.  Eastern Kentucky recorded 26 first downs and 527 yards of total offense.  The Colonels were penalized nine times for 75 yards, lost a fumble, and had a pass intercepted.  Southeast Missouri recorded 14 first downs and 392 yards of total offense.  The Redhawks were penalized 10 times for 80 yards and lost two fumbles.

Ethan Thomas led Eastern Kentucky’s ground game with 92 yards on 20 carries.  Henry Enyenihi carried the ball 19 times for 66 yards.  Bennie Coney completed 23 of 37 passes for 337 yards and four touchdowns with one interception.  Devin Borders caught seven passes for 119 yards and three touchdowns.  Ryan Markush added four receptions for 57 yards.  Dan Crimmins caught three passes for 57 yards.  Cameron Fogle recorded three receptions for 41 yards and a touchdown.  Kiante Northington led the defense with seven solo and two assisted tackles.  Jared Tucker added six solo and one assisted tackles.  Corey Glass recorded three solo and four assisted tackles.
