Mercer County defeated Paul Laurence Dunbar by a score of 27-20.  Mercer County recorded 11 first downs and 301 yards of total offense.  The Titans were penalized five times for 45 yards and lost four fumbles.  Paul Laurence Dunbar recorded 11 first downs and 279 yards of total offense.  The Bulldogs were penalized 11 times for 55 yards and lost a fumble.

Chris Crawley-Goodman led Mercer County’s ground game with 118 yards and a touchdown on 22 carries.  Chris Crawley-Goodman completed five of 11 passes for 135 yards and two touchdowns.  Layne Peavler caught four passes for 130 yards and two touchdowns.  Braxton Bradshaw led the defense with four solo and nine assisted tackles.  Grayson Blevins added five solo and four assisted tackles.  Chris Crawley-Goodman recorded six solo and two assisted tackles.

AJ Williams led Dunbar’s ground game with 86 yards and a touchdown on 11 carries.  Emory Thompson carried the ball 11 times for 64 yards and two touchdowns.  Cam Pergram carried the ball 12 times for 57 yards.  Emory Thompson completed two of seven passes for 27 yards.  AJ Williams caught two passes for 27 yards.  Nick Martin led the defense with one solo and seven assisted tackles with two of his tackles resulting in losses totaling three yards and recovered two fumbles.  Derante Sanders added five solo and two assisted tackles with two of his tackles resulting in losses totaling nine yards.  Jmaurion Dunn recorded three solo and four assisted tackles.

Ballard trailed 34-21 midway through the final quarter but rallied to earn a 35-34 victory.  Bryan Station took a 34-21 lead with 5:55 left in the game on a 10 yard run by Ora Johnson but Anthony Lopez’s conversion kick was blocked.  Ballard cut the margin to 34-28 on a one yard run by Bennie Berry and the conversion kick by Rijad Kovacevic.  De Shawn Doss intercepted a Ora Johnson pass on the Ballard 22 and returned it to the Bryan Station 45.  Rex Wallace threw a 29 yard touchdown pass to Will Bush and Rijad Kovacevic kicked the extra point to make the score 35-34 with 44 seconds remaining on the clock.  Bryan Station had one last chance but Anthony Lopez’s 40 yard field goal attempt missed as time expired.

Ballard recorded 22 first downs and 347 yards of total offense.  The Bruins were penalized six times for 51 yards and had two passes intercepted.  Bryan Station recorded 22 first downs and 501 yards.  The Defenders were penalized eight times for 67 yards and had two passes intercepted.

Bennie Berry led Ballard’s ground game with 111 yards and one touchdown on 22 carries.  Rex Wallace completed 12 of 24 passes for 172 yards and two touchdowns with two interceptions.  Will Bush caught four passes for 61 yards and two touchdowns.  Rollin Green added three receptions for 80 yards.  De Shawn Doss caught three passes for 35 yards.  Derek Strasser led the defense with seven solo tackles.  Evin Gandy added six solo and one assisted tackles.

Ora Johnson led Bryan Station’s ground attack with 45 yards and two touchdowns on 11 carries.  K-CI Carmichael carried the ball seven times for 41 yards.  Ora Johnson completed 25 of 47 passes for 415 yards and three touchdowns with two interceptions.  Tequan Claitt caught 16 passes for 189 yards and one touchdown.  CJ Walker Jr. added five receptions for 85 yards and a touchdown.  K-CI Carmichael caught two passes for 120 yards and a touchdown.  Jam. Robertson led the defense with 11 solo and one assisted tackles with three of his tackles resulting in losses totaling 10 yards.  Shane Preston and Jesse Tudor added four solo and one assisted tackles and Tudor intercepted a pass that he returned 81 yards.

Scott County led 28-20 at halftime and pulled away in the second half to defeat Seneca 56-20 and improve to 10-0 for the season.  Scott County recorded 20 first downs and 366 yards of total offense.  The Cardinals were penalized seven times for 55 yards, lost a fumble, and had a pass intercepted.  Seneca recorded nine first downs and 210 yards of total offense.  They were penalized nine times for 56 yards.

Kevin Claussen led Scott County’s ground game with 126 yards and a touchdown on 23 carries.  Theo Price carried the ball 12 times for 102 yards and two touchdowns.  Keith Guy added 40 yards and two touchdowns on four carries.  Clay McKee completed four of six passes for 85 yards and a touchdown with one interception.  Grayson Miller caught two passes for 45 yards and a touchdown.  Scott Daniel returned a kickoff 81 yards for a touchdown.  Grayson Miller led the defense with six solo and one assisted tackles with three of his tackles resulting in losses totaling six yards.  J. McKeethan added six solo tackles with one of his tackles resulting in a three yard loss.  Thomas Daniel recorded four solo and three assisted tackles with one of his tackles resulting in a three yard loss.  Palmer Ward was eight of eight on conversion kicks, punted once for 39 yards and kicked off nine times with eight touchbacks.

Tylan Harbin led Seneca’s ground game with 36 yards and a touchdown on 10 carries.  Tylan Harbin completed 10 of 18 passes for 150 yards.  Avery Stepp caught three passes  for 120 yards.  Jordon Johnson led the defense with nine solo and five assisted tackles.  Aldwin Jackson intercepted a pass that he returned 100 yards for a touchdown.

Lexington Catholic raced out to a 34-0 halftime lead on their way to a 48-17 victory over Boone County.  Lexington Catholic improves to 7-3 while Boone County falls to 0-10 for the season.  Lexington Catholic.  Lexington Catholic recorded 28 first downs and 546 yards of total offense.  The Knights were penalized five times for 77 yards, lost two fumbles, and had a pass intercepted.  Boone County recorded 10 first downs and 237 yards of total offense.  The Rebels were penalized five times for 65 yards, lost two fumbles, and had three passes intercepted.

Marcelis Logan led Lexington Catholic’s ground game with 101 yards and two touchdowns on seven carries.  Noah Mitchell carried the ball 11 times for 42 yards and a touchdown.  Carter Gray added 33 yards and a touchdown on four carries.  Reese Ryan completed 18 of 24 passes for 337 yards and a touchdown.  Noah Mitchell caught six passes for 168 yards and a touchdown.  David Bouvier added five receptions for 82 yards.  Sam Letton caught three passes for 40 yards.  Josh Messmer led the defense with 12 solo tackles with four of his tackles resulting in losses totaling 11 yards and recovered a fumble.  Travis Hayden added seven solo tackles.  Chas Boling recorded six solo tackles with a fumble recovery that he returned nine yards.  Braxton Couch added four solo and two assisted tackles with three of his tackles resulting in losses totaling five yards.  Davis Rowady intercepted two passes.

Aaron Floyd led Boone County’s ground attack with 123 yards and two touchdowns on eight carries.  C. Roberts carried the ball 10 times for 57 yards.  Ryan Vickers completed one of 13 passes for 14 yards with two interceptions.  Peter Westhoff completed seven of 13 passes for 37 yards with one interception.  Jerry Marshall caught three passes for 22 yards.  Dylon Bishop added three receptions for 17 yards.  Jacob Schlarman led the defense with seven solo tackles with five of his tackles resulting in losses totaling 28 yards.  Carlos Figueroa added six solo and two assisted tackles and intercepted a pass.  Connor Taylor recorded five solo tackles.  C. Foster recovered a fumble that he returned 41 yards.  Evan O’Hara punted three times for a 47.3 average and a long punt of 69 yards.

Anderson County 41  East Jessamine 7 Zach Carmichael carried the ball 10 times for 134 yards and two touchdowns and completed 15 of 20 passes for 282 yards and three touchdowns and Ross Cox caught seven passes for 171 yards and three touchdowns to lead Anderson County.

Danville 31  Lexington Christian Academy 20 – Danville scored 21 points in the final quarter to earn the victory.

Anderson County improved to 8-1 with a 41-7 victory over East Jessamine tonight.  Anderson County broke open the game in the second quarter with three touchdown passes from Zach Carmichael to Ross Cox to increase the margin to 24-0 at halftime.  Cox went out of the game in the second half with an injury and did not return to the game.  Anderson County recorded 18 first downs and 506 yards of total offense.  The Bearcats were penalized five times for 31 yards and lost three fumbles.  East Jessamine recorded seven first downs and 108 yards of total offense.  The Jaguars were penalized three times for 15 yards and had two passes intercepted.

Zach Carmichael led Anderson County’s ground game with 134 yards and two touchdowns on 10 carries.  Zach Carmichael completed 15 of 20 passes for 282 yards and three touchdowns.  Ross Cox caught seven passes for 171 yards and three touchdowns.  Dusty Puckett added three receptions for 53 yards and Brayden Russell caught two passes for 40 yards.  Blake Trimble led the defense with four solo and two assisted tackles with 2.5 of his tackles resulting in losses totaling 11 yards.  Darius Harvey added two solo and four assisted tackles with three of his tackles resulting in losses totaling five yards. 

Jared Caudill led East Jessamine’s ground game with 14 yards on 12 carries.  Coty Garrett completed nine of 22 passes for 125 yards with two interceptions.  Kahnan Leslie caught three passes for 82 yards.  Kend. Reynolds led the defense with five solo and four assisted tackles.  Josh Hamilton added four solo tackles.  Brandon Mahan recovered a fumble that he returned 79 yards for a touchdown.

Franklin County defeated Montgomery County by a score of 49-19.  Franklin County recorded 19 first downs and 483 yards of total offense.  The Flyers were penalized six times for 63 yards.  Montgomery County recorded 16 first downs and 346 yards of total offense.  They were penalized twice for 15 yards, lost two fumbles, and had two passes intercepted.

Chris Roberts led Franklin County’s ground game with 110 yards and four touchdowns on 12 carries.  Isaiah Lee carried the ball eight times for 100 yards.  Barrett Sanderson completed 11 of 18 passes for 146 yards and three touchdowns.  De. Kennedy caught four passes for 47 yards and two touchdowns.  Chris Roberts and Lorenzo McCaskell each caught two passes for 34 and 30 points respectively.  Rylan Rowe caught a nine yard touchdown pass.  Landon Hurst and Malik Barrett led the defense with four solo tackles each.  Jh. Rodriguez and Keenan Holleran each recorded three solo and one assisted tackles and Holleran intercepted a pass.

Aaron Botts led Montgomery County’s ground game with 160 yards and a touchdown on 23 carries.  Zach Roland carried the ball four times for 32 yards and a touchdown.  Chaiten Tomlin completed six of 17 passes for 144 yards and a touchdown with two interceptions.  Chase Hall caught three receptions for 59 yards,  Nathan Brown caught a 70 yard touchdown pass.  Zach Roland led the defense with seven solo and three assisted tackles.  Colton Pence added four solo and three assisted tackles with 2.5 of his tackles resulting in losses totaling five yards.  Jo. Postelnick recorded five solo tackles.

Lexington Catholic averaged 18.9 yards per play on 31 offensive plays in a 62-9 victory over Marion County.  Lexington Catholic recorded 21 first downs and 585 yards of total offense.  The Knights were penalized 10 times for 102 yards.  Marion County recorded 11 first downs and 188 yards of total offense.  They were penalized seven times for 89 yards and had a pass intercepted.

Carter Gray led Lexington Catholic’s ground game with 122 yards and two touchdowns on two carries.  Noah Mitchell added 76 yards and two touchdowns on six carries.  Marcelis Logan carried the ball four times for 44 yards and a touchdown.  Reese Ryan completed seven of nine passes for 224 yards and a touchdown.  Sam Letton caught three passes for 107 yards and a touchdown.  Marcelis Logan added three receptions for 101 yards and two touchdowns.  Justin Brownell caught a 56 yard touchdown pass.  Josh Messmer led the defense with 10 solo tackles with one of his tackles resulting in a seven yard loss.  Chase Boling added eight solo and three assisted tackles with two of his tackles resulting in losses totaling three yards.  Eric Foster chipped in with four solo and one assisted tackles.  Marty Brown recorded four solo tackles with two of his tackles resulting in losses totaling 22 yards.

Logan Breeding led Marion County’s ground game with 44 yards on 12 carries.  Eddie Ponce carried the ball five times for 27 yards and a touchdown.  Hayden Taylor completed eight of 16 passes for 132 yards with one interception.  Lincoln Haydon caught three passes for 83 yards.  Dakota Newsome led the defense with four solo tackles.  Aaron Buckman added three solo tackles.
