Belfry defeated Lawrence County by the score of 42-13.  Belfry recorded 16 first downs and 323 yards of total offense.  The Pirates were penalized three times for 35 yards.  Lawrence County recorded 14 first downs and 269 yards of total offense.  They were penalized nine times for 75 yards, lost a fumble, and had a pass intercepted.

Isaac Dixon led Belfry’s ground game with 171 yards and two touchdowns on 20 carries.  Dre Young carried the ball nine times for 54 yards and two touchdowns.  Zayne Hatfield recorded 53 yards on seven carries.  The Pirates did not attempt any passes today.  Isaac Dixon returned one kickoff for 40 yards.  Isaac Dixon intercepted a pass.

Alex Strickland led Lawrence County’s ground game with 51 yards on eight carries.  Douglas Hall carried the ball eight times for 44 yards.  Dylan Ferguson added 26 yards and two touchdowns on 12 carries.  Alex Strickland completed 10 of 17 passes for 136 yards.  Kaden Gillispie completed one of two passes for five yards with one interception.  Kaden Gillispie caught seven passes for 102 yards.  Kaden Gillispie returned two kickoffs for 50 yards.  Nick Collinsworth returned two kickoffs for 37 yards.  Dylan Ferguson led the defense with six solo and one assisted tackles.  Alex Strickland added five solo tackles.

Covington Catholic held on to win an 8-7 decision over Highlands.  Highlands took a 7-0 lead with 1:12 left in the third quarter on a fumble recovery in the end zone by Henry King and Davis Burleigh added the conversion kick.  Covington Catholic scored on a 4 yard run by Owen Leen and Brayden Collins scored on a conversion run to take an 8-7 lead with 2:50 left in the game.  Highland mounted a rally and Davis Burleigh attempted a 34 yard field goal attempt in the closing seconds for the win but Trevor Wilson blocked the kick to ensure the victory for Covington Catholic.  Covington Catholic recorded 13 first downs and 211 yards of total offense.  The Colonels were penalized three times for 110 yards, lost a fumble, and had a pass intercepted.  Highlands recorded 10 first downs and 173 yards of total offense.  The Bluebirds were penalized five times for 30 yards.

Reid Hummel led Covington Catholic’s ground game with 99 yards on 12 carries.  Preston Agee carried the ball 15 times for 75 yards.  Evan Pitze completed one of six yards for 10 yards with one interception.  Preston Agee completed two of two passes for six yards.  Preston Agee and Nick Boydston each caught one pass for 10 yards.  Robby Sandfoss returned two kickoffs for 53 yards with a long return of 35 yards.  Aiden Jones led the defense with five solo and six assisted tackles.  Robby Sandfoss added six solo tackles.  Collin Gastright recorded four solo tackles with two of his tackles resulting in losses totaling 13 yards.

Charlie Noon led Highlands’ ground game with 82 yards on 25 carries.  Charlie Noon completed eight of 15 passes for 74 yards.  Carson Class caught two passes for 30 yards.  Oliver Harris caught one pass for 21 yards.  Isaac Surrey returned two kickoffs for 35 yards with a long return of 27 yards.  #64 led the defense with 11 solo tackles.  Kaleb Kissee added six solo tackles.  Jackson Higgason recorded four solo tackles with two of his tackles resulting in losses totaling 18 yards.

Madison Central utilized their ground-and-pound offense (45 carries 356 yards and six touchdowns) on their way to a 43-7 victory over George Rogers Clark.  Madison Central recorded 17 first downs and 367 yards of total offense.  The Indians were penalized six times for 50 yards.  George Rogers Clark recorded 10 first downs and 182 yards of total offense.  The Cardinals were penalized eight times for 68 yards, lost a fumble, and had a pass intercepted.  The only negative aspect for Madison Central was that one of the stars on defense Edgren Sweat was ejected after a personal foul penalty.

Brady Hesley led Madison Central’s ground game with 245 yards and four touchdowns on 22 carries.  Adrien Parks carried the ball 13 times for 99 yards and two touchdowns.  Hagan Harrison completed two of six passes for 11 yards.  Jayden West caught two passes for 11 yards.  Hagan Harrison punted twice for a 45.0 average with a long punt of 52 yards with one of his punts downed inside the 20 yard line.  Ayden Pierson led the defense with three solo and six assisted tackles.  Hayden Kiser added three solo and five assisted tackles with one of his tackles resulting in a four yard loss.  Kyran Jackson recorded four solo and three assisted tackles with one of his tackles resulting in a five yard loss.  Jeffrey Kinley added three solo and three assisted tackles with one of his tackles resulting in a two yard loss.  Caden Ellington recovered a fumble and Brady Worrix intercepted a pass he returned 18 yards.

Kalen Washington led GRC’s ground game with 107 yards and a touchdown on 11 carries.  The freshman speedster showed his wheels with an 81 yard sprint down the sideline for a touchdown.  Kareem Guerrant added 29 yards on eight carries.  Brady Denham completed seven of 18 passes for 48 yards with one interception.  Jaylen Berry caught five passes for 38 yards.  Tyleik Maxwell returned five kickoffs for 80 yards with a long return of 30 yards.  Kalen Washington returned two kickoffs for 53 yards with a long return of 31 yards.  Jeremy Clem led the defense with three solo and five assisted tackles.  Kamden McAlpin added four solo and three assisted tackles.  Ty Miller recorded three solo and four assisted tackles with 1.5 of his tackles resulting in losses totaling two yards.

Tates Creek defeated Lafayette by the score of 42-6.  Tates Creek recorded 19 first downs and 310 yards of total offense.  The Commodores were penalized five times for 62 yards.  Lafayette recorded four first downs and 40 yards of total offense.  The Generals were penalized nine times for 82 yards and lost a fumble.

Matthew Underwood led Tates Creek’s ground game with 55 yards and three touchdowns on 10 carries.  Andrew Whitherington carried the ball six times for 35 yards.  Aliyon Blevins also ran for a touchdown.  Andrew Whitherington completed 16 of 22 passes for 192 yards and two touchdowns.  Ke’shon Douthitt  caught five passes for 91 yards.  Marquevion Smith added four receptions for 39 yards and a touchdown.  Kobe Middleton added a touchdown reception.  Marquevion Smith returned a punt for 15 yards.  Ke’shon Douthitt returned a kickoff for 43 yards.  Logan Julian led the defense with four solo and one assisted tackles with two of his tackles resulting in losses totaling 10 yards.  LaQuan Newby added three solo and two assisted tackles.  Ke’shon Douthitt recovered a fumble.

Lucas Doneghy  led Lafayette’s ground game with nine yards on six carries.  DJ Walker completed three of eight passes for 40 yards.  Lucas Doneghy caught two passes for 41 yards.  Derreon Stewart returned two kickoffs for 88 yards and returned one for 88 yards and a touchdown.  Bond Jacobs and Caleb Jacobs each recorded six solo and one assisted tackles to lead the defense.  Ruben Garcia added two solo and six assisted tackles.  Donavan Jackson recorded one solo and three assisted tackles with 1.5 of his tackles resulting in losses totaling four yards.

Bryan Station defeated Oldham County 42-21 in a big district game at home tonight.  Bryan Station recorded 17 first downs and 457 yards of total offense.  The Defenders were penalized eight times for 63 yards, lost s fumble, and had a pass intercepted.  Oldham County recorded 10 first downs and 153 yards of total offense.  The Colonels were penalized twice for 15 yards and lost a fumble.

Joseph Bond led Bryan Station’s ground game with 78 yards and a touchdown on 14 carries.  Jeremiah Mundy-Lloyd added 62 yards on 14 carries.  Trenton Cutwright carried the ball six times for 55 yards and a touchdown.  Damin Green recorded 28 yards and a touchdown on seven carries.  Trenton Cutwright completed 10 of 15 passes for 288 yards and three touchdowns with one interception.  JMarious Lindsay caught three passes for 42 yards.  JaVoen Hurt added three receptions for 36 yards.  Damin Green recorded two receptions for 121 yards and two touchdowns.  Ah’Travion Jenkins caught two passes for 89 yards and a touchdown.  Jason Hocker led the defense with four solo and four assisted tackles.  Yedideyah Sledge added two solo and six assisted tackles with 1.5 of his tackles resulting in losses totaling five yards.  Jahvon Frazier recorded three solo and two assisted tackles with two of his tackles resulting in losses totaling 12 yards.  JT Haskins Jr. recovered a fumble.

Sam Young led Oldham County’s ground game with 49 yards on 12 carries.  Caden Sheppard carried the ball 12 times for 36 yards and a touchdown.  Trent Garrison added 18 yards and a touchdown on five carries.  Sam Young completed four of 20 passes for 50 yards and a touchdown.  Jaxon Elkins caught two passes for 42 yards and a touchdown.  Tyler Lindemier returned two kickoffs for 32 yards including a long return of 21 yards.  Trent Garrison returned two kickoffs for 31 yards with a long return of 18 yards.  William Carnes returned one kickoff for 25 yards.  Brian Manteleone led the defense with 11 solo and four assisted tackles with two of his tackles resulting in losses totaling seven yards and intercepted a pass he returned nine yards.  Sam Oldham recorded one solo and six assisted tackles with one of his tackles resulting in a six yard loss.  Tyler Lindemier recovered a fumble.

Paul Laurence Dunbar defeated Henry Clay by the score of 45-24.  The game was tied 24-24 at halftime but Dunbar scored 21 unanswered points in the second half for the victory. Dunbar recorded 29 first downs and 489 yards of total offense.  The Bulldogs were penalized 10 times for 70 yards.  Henry Clay recorded 13 first downs and 241 yards of total offense.  The Blue Devils were penalized nine times for 72 yards. Lost a fumble, and had a pass intercepted.

Kamarion Robinson led Dunbar’s ground game with 178 yards and three touchdowns on 26 carries.  Julian Hyden carried the ball 13 times for 94 yards and a touchdown.  Cole Colony recorded 59 yards and a touchdown on nine carries.  Cole Colony completed 10 of 15 passes for 134 yards and a touchdown.  Andrew Jones caught three passes for 66 yards and a touchdown.  Kamarion Robinson added two receptions for 37 yards.  Julian Hyden returned two kickoffs for 22 yards with a long return of 15 yards.  JT Seltsam led the defense with five solo and two assisted tackles with one of his tackles resulting in a one yard loss.  John Law recorded five solo and one assisted tackles with three of his tackles resulting in losses totaling 13 yards.  Andrew Jones added three solo and three assisted tackles with one of his tackles resulting in a two yard loss.  Brent McKitric recorded three solo and two assisted tackles with 2.5 of his tackles resulting in losses totaling nine yards.  J. Biggerstaff intercepted a pass and team was credited with a fumble recovery.

Lexington Catholic defeated Bourbon County 48-35 behind a career night by Walker Hall who ran for 296 yards and five touchdowns.  Lexington Catholic recorded 25 first downs and 455 yards of total offense.  The Knights were penalized five times for 35 yards and lost a fumble.  Bourbon County recorded 14 first downs and 354 yards of total offense.  The Colonels were penalized six times for 118 yards and had a pass intercepted.

Walker Hall led Lexington Catholic’s ground game with 296 yards and five touchdowns on 31 carries.  Blake Busson carried the ball twice for 24 yards.  Jack Gohmann added 24 yards and a touchdown on six carries.  Jack Gohmann completed 13 of 19 passes for 100 yards and one touchdown.  Tanner Pedroche caught four passes for 47 yards.  Jack Monday added four receptions for 27 yards.  Blake Busson recorded four catches for 18 yards and a touchdown.  San Clements returned three kickoffs for 88 yards with a long return of 39 yards.  Max DeGraff punted once for 52 which was downed inside the 20 yard line and kicked off seven times for a 54.9 average with four touchbacks.  E. Pierre-Louis led the defense with four solo and four assisted tackles.  Harrison Romero added three solo and three assisted tackles with one of his tackles resulting in a seven yard loss.  Gavin Klein recorded three solo and one assisted tackles with 1.5 of his tackles resulting in losses totaling nine yards.  Quentin Duffy added two solo tackles which resulted in losses totaling 13 yards.  Justus Wertzler intercepted a pass he returned 12 yards.

Josh Moody led Bourbon County’s ground game with 174 yards and three touchdowns on 11 carries.  D. Ross carried the ball six times for 26 yards.  Clay Estes ran for one touchdown.  Clay Estes completed eight of 19 passes for 167 yards and one touchdown with one interception.  Jaden Commodore caught four passes for 122 yards and one touchdown.  Matthew Eldridge added four receptions for 42 yards.  Jaden Commodore returned two kickoffs for 36 yards with a long return of 21 yards.  Corey McMahon led the defense with eight solo and nine assisted tackles with 1.5 of his tackles resulting in losses totaling six yards.  Jayden Moody added six solo and two assisted tackles with one of his tackles resulting in a one yard loss.  D. Ross recorded four solo and four assisted tackles.  Ryan Lay added three solo and one assisted tackles and recovered a fumble.

Scott County defeated Montgomery County by the score of 53-6.  Scott County recorded 17 first downs and 328 yards of total offense.  The Cardinals were penalized three times for 35 yards tonight and did not have any turnovers.  Montgomery County recorded eight first downs and 146 yards of total offense.  The Indians were not penalized tonight and did not have any turnovers. 

Thomas Feickert led Scott County’s ground game with 65 yards on five carries.  Montago Jones carried the ball six times for 47 yards and two touchdowns.  Andrew Hickey completed seven of nine passes for 103 yards and three touchdowns.  Thomas Feickert caught two passes for 20 yards and a touchdown.  Taylor Luttrull and Logan Jones caught touchdown passes of 46 and 15 yards respectively.  Jeremy Hamilton returned two punts for 89 yards with a 72 yard return for a touchdown.  Jaxon Saylor led the defense with five solo tackles.  Isaac Krebs added four solo and two assisted tackles with two of his tackles resulting in losses totaling four yards.

Adrian Jones led Montgomery County’s ground game with 30 yards on 12 carries.  Jacob Diallo carried the ball five times for 15 yards.  Alex Hatton completed 14 of 33 passes for 101 yards and one touchdown.  Devin Taul caught five passes for 49 yards and a touchdown.  Tanner Donathan added four receptions for 25 yards.  Tanner Donathan returned four kickoffs for 76 yards with a long return of 27 yards.  Alex Ison returned four kickoffs for 69 yards with a long return of 22 yards. Brody Shaw led the defense with eight solo and two assisted tackles with one of his tackles resulting in a four yard loss.  Corey Barber added four solo and one assisted tackles.  Darrien Owens recorded four solo tackles.

Lafayette defeated Henry Clay by the score of 35-20.  This game started on Thursday October 7th but was suspended in the second quarter with Henry Clay leading 13-7 because of lightning delays.  The game was finished on Sunday evening October 10th and Lafayette rallied for the victory.  Lafayette recorded 13 first downs and 240 yards of total offense.  The Generals were penalized nine times for 87 yards and lost a fumble.  Henry Clay recorded 13 first downs and 261 yards of total offense.  The Blue Devils were penalized 13 times for 104 yards, lost a fumble, and had three passes intercepted.

DJ Walker led Lafayette’s ground game with 62 yards on 19 carries.  Dez Hanley carried the ball 11 times for 41 yards and two touchdowns.  Lucas Doneghy recorded 40 yards on nine carries.  DJ Walker completed seven of nine passes for 95 yards and two touchdowns.  Lucas Doneghy caught three passes for 35 yards and a touchdown.  Tanner Pace added two receptions for 51 yards.  Noah King caught an eight yard touchdown pass.  Derreon Stewart returned two punts for 28 yards with a long return of 21 yards.  Ruben Garcia led the defense with eight solo and two assisted tackles with one of his tackles resulting in a three yard loss and intercepted a pass he returned 24 yards.  Bond Jacobs added four solo and seven assisted tackles with 1.5 of his tackles resulting in losses totaling three yards.  E.
