I have had some inquiries about whether girls in the state of Kentucky can attend fall events the weekend of September 25-27. After talking with Julian Tackett, the commissioner of the KHSAA, he has assured me that girls can attend any fall event that particular weekend in September without jeopardizing their eligibility. The KHSAA did change their boys bylaw for the fall but left intact the girls' fall bylaw which has been in place for several years. Hope that clears up any confusion should one be considering our Louisville Girls Fall Showcase at Bullitt Central High School in Shepherdsville, KY, on September 26th.

Sincerely,

Rick Bolus
