Lafayette coach Allison Denton started the following lineup: 5-8 Fr. E’maria Owens. 5-6 Jr. McKinley Emerson, 5-11 Jr. Addison Combs, 5-5 Sr. Anna Clay Denton, and 5-3 Jr. Skylar Davis. East Jessamine coach Travis Firth countered with 5-9 Jr. Maddy Arnold, 5-7 Sr. Rickayla Hubbard, 6-0 Sr. Kaitlynn Napier. 5-3 Sr. Kyla Hunt, and 5-5 Sr. Sloan Evans.

Lafayette trailed 46-39 in the final quarter but Lafayette rallied and the score was tied 50-50 at the end of regulation. Lafayette outscored East Jessamine 8-5 in overtime to earn a 58-55 victory. There were 11 ties and 19 lead changes in the game. Lafayette shot 37.7% from the field including two of 23 from the three point line. The Lady Generals connected on 10 of 28 free throws, pulled down 41 rebounds, and scored 27 points off 25 East Jessamine turnovers. East Jessamine shot 40.8% from the field including five of 18 from beyond the arc. The Lady Jaguars connected on 10 of 17 free throws, pulled down 38 rebounds, and scored 17 points off 18 Lafayette turnovers.

Anna Clay Denton led Lafayette with 21 points including two three point baskets, six rebounds, two assists, and seven steals. E’maria Owens added 20 points, four rebounds, three assists, and four steals. Addison Combs recorded nine points, 10 rebounds, two assists, two blocked shots, and three steals. McKinley Emerson chipped in with seven points, six rebounds, and two steals.

Kaitlynn Napier led East Jessamine with 16 points, 12 rebounds, and three assists. Kyla Hunt added 10 points, two rebounds, three assists, and two steals. Rickayla Hubbard recorded nine points on three three point baskets and three rebounds. Maddy Arnold chipped in with seven points, seven rebounds, and seven steals. 6-0 Sr. Matelyn Wilson added seven points.
