Woodford County vs. Madison Central

Woodford County coach Latear Eason started the following lineup: 5-8 Sr. Haydon Wells, 5-7 Jr. Taylor Patterson, 5-4 Fr. Hailee Gordon, 5-2 So. Katie Pantaliono, and 5-4 Fr. Emma Ruby. Madison Central coach Scott True countered with 5-7 Jr. Eden Carter, 5-7 So. Brooke Campbell, 5-10 Jr. Bailey Hensley, 5-7 So. Brittany Hensley, and 5-6 So. Nataya Strader.

Madison Central raced out to a 27-8 first quarter lead on their way to a 66-23 victory over Woodford County. Madison Central shot 50% from the field including five of 15 from the three point line. The Lady Indians connected on 11 of 14 free throws, pulled down 25 rebounds, and scored 41 points off 27 Woodford County turnovers. Woodford County shot 28.6% from the field including one of 10 from beyond the arc. The Lady Yellow Jackets connected on six of 10 free throws, pulled down 22 rebounds, and scored five points off nine Madison Central turnovers.

5-7 Jr. Olivia Metcalfe led Madison Central with 13 points including three three point baskets, two rebounds, and three assists. Brittany Campbell added 12 points including two three point baskets, six assists, and five steals. Bailey Hensley recorded 12 points, four rebounds, two assists, and five steals. Nataya Strader chipped in with 10 points including four of four free throws, four rebounds, and two steals. Eden Carter added eight points, two rebounds, and two steals. 5-10 Fr. Emma Kate Lawson recorded seven points and Brooke Campbell pulled down six rebounds.

Danville raced out to a 24-12 first quarter lead on their way to a 75-57 victory over Ballard. Danville shot 41.9% from the field including 12 of 25 from the three point line. The Lady Admirals connected on 11 of 17 free throws, pulled down 34 rebounds, and scored 26 points off 19 Ballard turnovers. Ballard shot 46% from the field including two of nine from beyond the arc. The Lady Bruins connected on nine of 12 free throws, pulled down 34 rebounds, and scored 15 points off 11 Danville turnovers.

Love Mays led Danville with 19 poiunts including two three point baskets, seven of eight free throws, four rebounds, five assists, and four steals. 5-6 So. Myla Turner added 15 points including three three point baskets, five rebounds, and two assists. Samantha Bottom recorded 14 points including four three point baskets, four rebounds, and two assists. Desiree Tandy chipped in with 11 points, three rebounds, three assists, and two steals. Jazelynn Doneghy recorded six points and two rebounds. 5-6 So. Nemeah Jackson added six points, five rebounds, and two assists.

Samari Taylor led Ballard with 14 points including four of five free throws, 13 rebounds, three assists, and two blocked shots. Trinity Armour added 14 points and six rebounds. Arianna Rogers recorded 10 points. Ella Koralia chipped in with eight points, five rebounds, three assists, and three steals.

The Lady Maroons connected on 14 of 16 free throws, pulled down 33 rebounds, and scored 35 points off 30 Henry Clay turnovers. Henry Clay shot 42.9% from the field including four of 13 from beyond the arc. The Lady Blue Devils connected on 11 of 15 free throws, pulled down 28 rebounds, and scored 16 points off 20 Pulaski County turnovers.

Sydney Martin led Pulaski County with 28 points including two three point baskets, four of four free throws, seven rebounds, two assists, and three steals. Madeline Butcher added 11 points including four of four from the free throw line, seven rebounds, five assists, and six steals. Maggie Holt recorded 11 points and five rebounds. Aubrey Dalton chipped in with nine points, three rebounds, and four assists.

Lydia Van Metre led Henry Clay with 14 points including two three point baskets and two steals. Ariyanna Sutton added 13 points, six rebounds, three assists, and three steals. Conner led 30-28 at halftime and pulled away in the second half to defeat Rockcastle County by the score of 63-49. There were six lead changes and three ties in this game. Conner shot 48.7% from the field including four of 11 from the three point line. The Lady Cougars connected on 21 of 27 free throws, pulled down 30 rebounds, and scored 21 points off 18 Rockcastle County turnovers. Rockcastle County shot 38.3% from the field including three of nine from beyond the arc. The Lady Rockets connected on 10 of 14 free throws, pulled down 26 rebounds, and scored 17 points off 19 Conner turnovers.

Anna Hamilton led Conner with 26 points including two three point baskets, 12 of 14 free throws, six rebounds, two assists, and five steals. Kelsee Simpson added 18 points including six of eight free throws, six rebounds, two assists, and two steals. Juliet Strange recorded eight points and seven rebounds.

The Lady Waves connected on three of five free throws, pulled down 24 rebounds, and scored three points off four Cooper turnovers.

Whitney Lind led Cooper with 18 points including five of seven free throws, nine rebounds, four assists, and two steals. Kay Freihofer added 16 points including four three point baskets, three rebounds, and two assists. Liz Freihofer recorded 10 points including two three point baskets, two rebounds, and five assists. Logan Palmer chipped in with 10 points including three of four free throws and two rebounds. 5-9 8th Grade Haylee Noel recorded seven points.

5-7 8th Grader Amirah Jordan led Male with 22 points including five three point baskets, five rebounds, three assists, and four steals. KaNiah Edelen added 13 points including four of four free throws, four rebounds, and two steals. Desaine Mhango recorded 12 points, two rebounds, three assists, two blocked shots, and four steals. Kayla Paige chipped in with 10 points, nine rebounds, four assists, and two steals. MaKiya West added eight points and four rebounds.

Emily Cox led South Laurel with 20 points including five of nine free throws, 12 rebounds, two assists, two blocked shots, and three steals. The Lady Broncos connected on 14 of 18 free throws, pulled down 40 rebounds, and scored 11 points off 12 Ryle turnovers.

Abby Holtman led Ryle with 17 points, five rebounds, and two steals. Quinn Eubank added 15 points, 12 rebounds, and four assists. Sarah Baker recorded 14 points, eight rebounds, and eight assists. West Jessamine shot 21.2% from the field including two of 21 from the three point line. The Lady Colts connected on 13 of 20 free throws, pulled down 39 rebounds, and scored 10 points off 15 Elizabethtown turnovers. Elizabethtown shot 26.7% from the field including two of 16 from beyond the arc. The Lady Panthers connected on 10 of 15 free throws, pulled down 42 rebounds, and scored nine points off 10 West Jessamine turnovers.

Claire Marshall led West Jessamine with 14 points including four of five free throws, and 17 rebounds. Isabella Lewis added eight points including five of six free throws, four rebounds, and two steals. Jr. Ella Bolden recorded five points, five rebounds, and two steals.
